I absolutely love my Salomon boots. I was nervous to buy them online as you just don’t know how they will fit and I only had 2 weeks to wear them in before a hike up Snowden.They were instantly comfy. I went for some walks in them and although they were comfy on the foot they hurt a little where the top of the boot meets your lower shin. I wore them constantly round the house and did 2 short walks and on the day of the hike I couldn’t of been happier in them! Snowden was covered in ice (we went in December) and my boots were awesome. I was walking more carefully but they had brilliant grip. We had to do a bit of scrambling and I felt very confident in them! I added extra water proof protection just to be on the safe side.

These are excellent boots.I have a morton's neuroma on my left foot and wearing shoes with any flex increases my pain. Because I am a recovery nurse I don't want a surgical intervention and I stand for at least 11 hours on my work days; I bought these for work and they are amazing! I can stand all day and my feet feel good by the end of the day. I did buy wool compression socks that have padded soles because these boots don't feel very padded. I did buy a second pair, half a size larger because these were tight, in the foot-box, with "heavy" wool socks for hiking. They might run narrow for people with Birkinstock feet.

i placed my order on july 27th (saturday), it was shipped on july 29th (monday) and arrived the following friday on august 2th. the shoes were in the box, well packed and in perfect condition. size was correct, no complaints whatsoever. i was a bit skeptical before placing the order because of some negative reviews regarding shipping and delivery time but i am so glad i decided to take the chance because i could never have imagined such a quick delivery. i live in iceland so i am very used to having ,to wait a while for orders from abroad. and - by ordering from trekkin i wound up getting the shoes for €108 less than i would have buying them retail here in iceland! so, to sum it up,

I love thes boots. I have a narrow heel but I like extra room in the toe box. When I lace these shoes they grab my heel and arch area keeping my foot very secure and super comfortable. I hike in the mountains on animal paths and cross country. I had a problem with damage to the ball of my foot which took me a year to be able to hike again. I still have problems with my winter boots for hiking because of that problem. I bought these shoes to take the place of my winter boots. I worried about my feet being cold, but I found that wearing Smartwool socks is working for me. I have been out the last two days in snow with my feet perfectly warm. The tread of my boot is deep and really good for traction.

I expected from the reviews the product to be delivered very late however I was happily surprised as the boots came earlier than expected and just in time for my trip. I opted for half a size up from my normal size so 7.5 instead of 7 and I am glad I did because they come up smaller so this is the perfect size. So be aware i(f you are getting the ladies boot style) that going up half a size gives you space for hiking socks as the style comes up smaller and thinner than usual. The product is just what I need and exceeds expectations. The Solomon boots are of great quality. I bought them because I needed rigid high ankle support for a sprain I have and they are perfect.

WOW! Absolutely love these boots - I wore them for the first time on an 11 mile hike, multiple water crossings, +/I2600ft in elevation gains/descent and they were awesome. No blisters, great ankle support, actually waterPROOF, and very roomy toe box. I started developing a bunion on one of my feet and these are so comfortable.I’ve had the Merrill MOAB boots for several years and these blow them out of the water. I did order half a size up due to the bunion and intent to wear thick hiking socks and it was a great decision.I’m completely sold on Salomans from here on out.

Excellent service from this company. Good communication and delivered quickly. The boots are as described by many on this site .... an excellent light boot offering great support & grip on all surfaces. Bought for my wife for Hill walking , first impressions are slightly stiff to start with but felt good & didn't rub . Would believe given a few more outings she will forget she's wearing them & feel as good as her last Salomon boots she replaced with these . Time will tell how the perform but first impressions are a great boot with a favorable price from this company....

I love how cushy and comfortable these are! I just got them and did a test hike of 2 miles. No complaints except for they were hot. I was hoping for cooler since they're not winter hiking boots. It was 80°f though. I was wearing a lite weight sock. They are heavier than my Salomon winter hiking boots. I dont mind that too much because I figure I gained a more stable boot and there's more cushion as well. I did appreciate those benefits on my hike. The price is worth it I believe! Cant really comment on their durability yet. Will update if I have issues later on.

My husband and I planned an 8 day/7 night backpacking trip to Isle Royale. This is an island that is extremely remote (no cell phone service) and full of rugged trails. It was paramount to have a quality boot to provide adequate ankle support, as well as absolute and reliable waterproofing.These boots did not disappoint!They were comfortable after a minimal break-in period. The fit was pretty much true to size, taking into account two pairs of socks to minimize hot spots.We were extremely satisfied with these boots. Therefore, we highly recommend them.

The boots are great, comfortable and light. I don’t even know that they are boots until I look down. They look big and bulky, but the feel is very lightweight. The fit is wide enough but snug as toes have room and heels do not slip. One important piece, lace the boots all the way up and tighten them, because if you leave them loose at the very top they can irritate your ankle. They will keep your feet warm and I feel I can wear them in temperatures less that 32 degrees with the correct socks. Buy you street size it’s perfect.Great boot, wow.

I bought these boots with less than a week to spare before my trip. They came earlier than I expected despite my worries that I was going to miss the date I needed them for (and the previous reviews on delivery). I am so impressed and delighted they came in time and with such speed. The boots are great quality and just what I needed. I have a sore ankle from a previous sprain and the boots have great ankle support and feel really solid. They are also very light for how big they are. I can tell they are going to last years and years! :-)

Plenty of room in the toe box yet provides nice snug fit for my heel and ankle. I really like the lace locks at the ankle joint for precise tension control. So no more bruised toes on downhill slopes. I can have more ankle flexion without giving up heel stability. Initially because I was so excited about the lace lock feature I laced the boots too tightly over my foot, so I recommend starting looser. I'm between size 5.5 and 6. Because hiking boots can run large and I wear thin socks, I ordered 5.5.

When I first ordered these, I ordered size 7.5 as I assumed I should purchase my normal shoe size. WRONG! I needed a full size down, which I quickly received.Once I had the right size, I was in heaven! These are the crem de la crem of boots. Went on a 6 mile hike and it was wearing clouds. And they are perfectly waterproof, as I discovered when I stepped ankle deep into a puddle.I wasn’t sure about spending this much for a pair of hiking boots, but I am certainly glad I did!

Review is not on product as I have yet to receive my order that was placed 3 weeks ago. The tracking information has not been updated for 7 days now so I have no way of knowing where my order is and when it should arrive. All the tracking says is expected to arrive four days ago. Any time I try to get in contact with this company it takes an hour and a half to get a response in order to get no help. Will never order from here again. Hopefully the boots turn out great...

These boots are THE BEST boots I have ever bought and ever worn! I am a half size standard fit and these boots allow me to spread my toes. They haven't rubbed not once from very first wear. They provide lots of arch support and seem to relieve the arthritis in my toes also. They are super light to wear, warm n dry and I have tested them thoroughly and not to mention snazzy looking. Iv had loads of compliments. Overall... A highly recommended boot!!!
