I made the purchase of the Salomon Quest 4D 3 goretex boots on April 15th during covid 19 lockdowns. How intelligent was that?! Not very! So as a result the delivery of the boots was significantly impacted by Postnl all the way down to New Zealand. No fault of theirs, completely out of their control! Finally delivered on May 28th. A gift for my son who absolutely loves the support & comfort of the boots straight out of the box with great stylish design. Excellent price at 8 including postage, compared to the 0 NZ shops like Torpedo7 & Macpac expect customers to pay! Could not be more satisfied so have ordered another pair of wide cut Salomon for myself, at 2 cheaper than what the price is in NZ.

I just tried the boots. I received them the day before yesterday without any problem from Trekkin (MRW delivery company). The conditions of the test have been 20 km of route with dry and hot weather. Medium level (technical in some sections, with steep ascents and descents and a lot of loose material). Feet with a pair of socks (one inner lurbel (excellent) and one outer cotton). I already had some X ultra 3 gtx boots (apart from north face and salewa). After 20 km, taking into account that they are new, ONE PASS. Very good level of protection of the foot, phenomenal grip on any terrain, despite the feeling they give of being a boot boot, super light. In descent very good performance.

After 2.5 years I finally destroyed my old Salomon x alp in NZ rough terrain and volcanoes in very wet and abrasive conditions. so far in my life the best boots I ever had. they were not sooooo completely waterproof, nor the grip over wet rocks was the best but overall, the best. Now I bought the Quest 4d 3 GTX to replace them, so the expectations are high. Grip looks better, and are so far equally comfortable to wear even in 30+ summer days on London streets. I reckon It'll be much better on the mountains in milder temperatures. waterproofness has not been checked yet. so far they look a good product, well made and hopefully durable. I got them at Trekkinn, service and delivery was excellent,

this is the third pair of these boots we have now purchased. my husband is a delivery driver and is constantly in and out of his van. these boots go on at 4 am and come off again at 5 pm 5 days a week and they last him over a year. they are comfortable light flexible but very supportive and great for all weathers keeping his feet dry and warm in winter and cool in the summer. they are the best boots he has ever had and believe me he has tried them all. having ,spent a fortune on cheaper boots that last three months these are worth every penny and these ones are cheap compared to most places. delivery was quick and i have no qualms about ordering from here again.

I'm about to order my third pair. I wore the heck out of the first pair doing everything. I weigh over 250lbs and i'm not easy on anything; do a lot of construction, bushwhacking; hiking etc. These are the most comfortable boots, out of the box, I've ever owned and I've bought them all. I have had about 8 pairs of Merrell's, etc and for being waterproof (I live and hike in the PNW) nothing else I've tried has the comfort, dryness, ankle security for rough terrain (think rocks) or ease of use (lacing adjust options) than these do. More comfortable than my NB running shoes, dryer and better constructed than my Merrell Phasers. Spendy, and worth every penny.

Had these boots for four days. Love the look and feel of them, and really light. A bit stiff at first to get on which is to be expected, but quite comfortable and very supportive around the ankles. I did notice after a mile that my right foot started to ache, however I have very wide feet and very flat feet so wear a supportive arch. Did wander if I should of gone half a size bigger. So if you have wide feet would suggest checking your normal size plus half before buying. Determined to get past the pain barrier and break in properly over the next few weeks. Summary very pleased so far.

Really good boots, they look great, feel like real quality. The service from Trekinn was exceptional, delivered to the UK in well under a week. My only concern is that I dont feel the same level of comfort others have. It may just take a little while to adapt as I previously had a pair of North Face which were a similar style only a good bit lighter,but the Salomans are much stiffer than I anticipated and my feet feel a bit too warm for my liking, although again to be fair, the weather isn't cold yet so hopefully in winter this will be a positive. Great service though, thank you

This is now my 2nd pair, the 1st are dead after the GR20 and I take the same for the TMB. I think I did some 400 km with it. For my part, these shoes are very comfortable, the Gtx is good are work under a fine rain but in the pouring rain your feet will be wet for sure. The sole is perfect, a really impressive grip. In short, a very good product of Solomon. When at the site trekkinn: no problem delivery, delivered in 4 days in France, very well packaged. In addition, very interesting price. Good hikes in views.

This is my second pair of solomon hiking boots. I was very pleased with my first pair "Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid GORE-TEX " that bought 2 years ago and I wanted to invest in another pair and without a doubt I went back to Solomon. Read many great reviews on this model and the fit was good (a bit narrow since I have wide feet) I bought a 2/3 size bigger and in man size. Yet to test it out but will be doing a long hike in a few weeks time and I have great confidence that this boots will see me through the hike!

I have bought these beautiful shoes for about a week and a half, all in place, delivery on time, seeing the very positive reviews, I was intrigued by the product. also recommended by my friends of the product who said it was a TOP, I couldn't help buying them, it is the first pair of Salomon shoes that I take perfect my size as the description says, nothing to doubt, Superb product quality high, very comfortable, nothing to add, if you want a quality this is the product for you. Beautiful shoes.

This is my second pair of Salomon Quest walking boots. I bought the last pair 4 years ago and have worn them regularly each week in all terrains. The sole has kept its traction with little wear. The waterproof liner has worn out which is my reason to buy a new pair. I have expensive leather boots by other European manufacturers which I have worn out in half the time In which I have been using the Quest. I now use Salomon Ultra approach shoes as well. Trekkinn... Service also excellent. Thankyou.

This is my 4th pair of these boots in 6 years. I work in the forest industry so they get used on a day to day basis and are treated pretty roughly and worn to destruction!!. With a bit of maintenance they should last an occasional user ages with a bit of!Open box put on feet and good to go. No wearing in and no blisters. Looking at getting the winter version though the normal ones if properly maintained are good for wear in snowy conditions too. Alright for the pub too!! Just great!

The boots are excellent, they have the lightness of a trekking boot that allows you speed in the displacement, but enough robustness to ensure protection to your ankle and make demanding routes through complex terrains. They are perfect for long walks where feet get tired, thanks to their excellent permeability to sweat and ventilation. The impermeability is good during the first months of use, but after a year they start to fail (like almost all the boots when the forces).

I recently needed to replace by 4D 2, and with how much I enjoyed that pair it only made sense to try the 4D 3. Boots came pristine, fit perfect out of the box, and after a couple walks with my dog to break them in, feel better with each passing step. Can't wait to put them to the grindstone this weekend. Price at TrekkInn was better than anywhere else, and for shipping from the Netherlands to Denver, CO, it only took about 9 days total. Would recommend 100%

Same good quality, longship time. If you have time to wait, you’ll save about 33%. I don’t know how they can knock these prices down the way they do, but for me it was worth the wait. I got some Solomon Gore-Tex 4 D’s For an epic ice hiking trip in the North Cascades, which I may not go on but needed to have them anyway. I’ve been wearing them in and they are Uber high-quality for a more than reasonable price. I’ll definitely be shopping here more.
