My Vax blade arrived yesterday and I've been putting it through its paces all weekend and I have to say that it is fantastic. However I have one problem with it, you can't use it with vacuum storage bags. All we need is one attachment that is similar to the end of an upright/cylinder hose that would create an airtight seal around the bag valve and this would be the perfect vacuum for me. Not essential for all users, but if you're like me, and you have limited storage so need to pack away bedding/towels etc, it's crucial to have the right tools for the job. I would happily pay for the extra attachment Vax so please look into this.

hoover is great, especially after having a plug in for so long it’s a dream. For the price I paid I’m happy, I do have to empty it a lot more often but this isn’t difficult or heavy, it’s pretty good and all the filters come out so you can ensure you give it a good thorough clean after using it every time. I would say I find myself even after only a week never using it on the normal setting, I always se to have the boost mode and the brush bar on because it feels like it’s really working then!

I was sceptical about this because of the negative reviews, but I have to say I'm really impressed with this vacuum. It's really lightweight and the pick up is fantastic compared to my old dirt devil. The brush bar setting is definitely the best option for picking up dirt, but it will reduce battery time. I still vacuumed my entire 4 bed house (inc kitchen, bathroom and stairs) on a single charge with the brush bar activated. I couldn't believe how much dust my 6 month old carpets were holding!!

The Vax works v well , power beater cleans carpet well. Tool pack gives great versatility. Design issues with the on/off switch when using for cleaning ceiling covings, etc, easy to flick switch to off when holding up.. dust collector is small, fibres in the collector - animal hairs - difficult to dislodge, paintbrush works well to clean! filter easy to clean.. Charging is straightforward and a fair compromise.Overall very pleased and hope for long service life with reliability it promises..

Bought as a replacement to a Bosch Athlet, as with pets & children coming & going it’s not always practical to get the upright vac out all the time.Pros:The suction is good and the battery life is too. It’a Very manoeuvrable and does a decent job at picking up dirt.Cons:The handle isn’t terribly comfortable (I have largeish hands and it feels a bit too big for them). The tools that come with it are useless Doesn’t stand up on its own & has to be propped up or lain flat when not in use

I pondered for a couple of weeks after reading some of the reviews but eventually went for the 32v on offer. Make sure you fully charge the unit before use, clip the three parts together and away you go! If you use the brush mode on normal power it is fine for carpets and if you need a little bit more to remove animal hair put it on full power plus the brush; be warned as you will probably get about 12 mins at a push on this mode. If you are using on hard floors then use on normal mode no brush.

I've always had Vax vacuum cleaners and have been very happy with the performance and longevity. This is a great product, it's such a breeze to use and works very well. In order for it to perform as well as a corded vacuum you have to press boost mode and brush bar which use a lot more battery power, I've never had the battery run out on me, yet, but I haven't done a full house in one go, they would run out at a thorough clean though and battery is not replaceable. I'm very happy with this Vax.

Before purchasing I read up reviews etc and took my time but decided this was the hoover to go for and it definately didn't disappoint! It is very powerful for a cordless and love the fact that is comes with a few attachments all of which are very useful. It works really well on the stairs especially as we have a large dog so keeping up with the hair is a nightmare but this makes it so much easier. The only place we haven't tried it on yet is the car but so far can't fault it at all! Great buy!

Solid build, great design & enough battery to run around a 3 bedroom house. "Normal" power isn't worth bothering with but on full power it picks up really well, though not as good as a mains powered one (as you'd expect.) Nice & compact, stores easily either in bits in a cupboard or hanging on the wall using the supplied bracket. Gets more use than the main hoover because there's no faffing around plugging it in, so we actually hoover more often now. 80% as good as a Dyson but 40% of the price.

I read so many reviews on cordless vacuums and was tempted to buy a Dyson but I just couldn’t justify the £400 cost of one, so I set a budget of under £200 and stuck to it.I have an existing Henry corded vacuum and the suction is so good it lifts the carpet, but when trying out the new cordless Vax I was pleasantly surprised. There was so much in the collection compartment after the first use it had to be emptied after doing one room, and the filter needed fluff cleaning off it too!Great!

Having had a number of cordless vacuums in the past, I was very reluctant to buy another. I bought this after reading the reviews, and boy am I impressed. This has as good suction as any corded vacuum we've owned. It probably could do with having a longer nozzle attachment for getting into crevices and corners, but I can live with that. The run time is enough to do the house fairly comfortably, and it charges in a few hours.Overall I am very impressed. Why Pay More for a Dyson or Shark?

Overall I as m very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. The charge lasts ages, it looks good and is easy to use whether upright or as a handheld. I will be buying the car kit too later My only niggle is the pet tool. I have a long haired cat who sheds a lot so specifically went for a pet model but the tool provided really doesn't loosen the hair to pick up properly as the rubber bits are too widely spaced. So I have deducted a star for that. That said it is a good tool to use on the stairs.

This is as good as I had hoped. Really handy size, easy to handle, hand vacuum detaches, great for stairs and furniture, perfectly adequate for a 3 bed flat such as ours. With boost and brush on it will not last long, but this is only needed for some areas. Lifts hairs well.Recharges in 4 hrs or less. The dust container is small, but easy to empty into the bin. I can happily recommend this if you want a light and effective cordless and bagless vacuum cleaner and do not live in a larger home.

Bought this to replace our Dyson. The Dyson lasted 2 years and needed an £80 part after 13 months so when it broke again that was the final straw. So the Vax was what I came down on after some research. So far the suction is as good with better edge cleaning. It’s heavier than the Dyson but not by much. Emptying it is just the same as Dyson. The wall mounting it comes with is basic not as good as Dysons solution. It’s early days but so far I’m happy with it, saved me £90 on the cheapest Dyson.

Wow, I thought dysons were the be all and end all. Turns out they have some tough competition! This vacuum sucks well, is easy to put together, charges quickly and lasts for ages even on boost mode. The stick is not extendable but I’m quite tall and this is not an issue for me. One minor issue is that I sometimes have to wiggle it a bit to get the head to separate from the stick. It doesn’t release as easily as others. My mum used and thought it was a Dyson and is now going to buy herself one!
