The vacuum works very well and has a very powerful motor. If there was a disappointment it would be the fact the main handle operates on a kind of ratchet with a quick release allowing you to lengthen or shorten the handle - there is very little pressure required to move it up and down and is only prevented by inserting a small wedge into the handle. Seems to work.

Great hoover, easy to use, it sucks up everything including clothes, curtains and blankets. Only negative is that the pet hair attachment is awkward to us on the wand and once seperated you dont have a suitable brush head attachment to do stairs.so you have to take the whole vacuum upstairs to do carpets.

Good suction power, easy to steer around, light to handle, easy to empty.It feels a bit flimsy at first but you get used to it, and working out the attachments may take practice too. But overall I am happy with it, would give it a 4.5 / 5

After buying this product I will never go back to Dyson.. it’s an amazing hoover, light weight and very powerful. It’s brilliant for pet hairs, as I have 3 dogs and made cleaning up a joy. So easy to use. Would def recommend.

As a previous reviewer said they have always bought Dyson, but after buying this Vax they wouldn't go back - now I know why...great product...easy to use...and I like how easy it is to clean the stairs...!

Never seen so much dirt and hair collected tested after using friends new Dyson which was four times the price! The Dyson may be lighter to manoeuvre but no use at dealing with dust and hair.

I have had 2 Dysons spending hundreds of pounds and bought this re conditioned Vax. Really impressed with the power suction. Great value for money, also 1 years guarantee. Would recommend.

Very good. The adjustable suction on the front is good, when you want powerful suction. Easily comes apart for cleaning stairs. Easy to empty, the swivel part makes it easy to manoeuvre.

Easy to use, all the attachments I need, and the best Hoover I have had for pet hair, the only one I have ever known to totally clean up after molly (NEWFOUNDLAND),would highly recommend

Take out of the box and I was ready to go. Everything made sense. Really easy to use. Very effective with pet fur. Powerful cleaner which can be adjusted. Would recommend 100%

Really good for the money,great suction,very handy to steer,only one thing is the flexy hose could be a bit longer,but apart from that its great bit of kit.

I used to have a similar model to this and was brilliant , was tempted by a dyson ... not as good in my opinion . So bought my vax one again
