I bought this recently and am very pleased with the suction power which is excellent. The suction power can be controlled by the slide bar “select floor type”. We found that the middle position on the slide bar enabled us to move the machine more readily over most carpets. An old carpet which is quite flattened fluffs up quite nicely with this vacuum. The foot of the machine is sufficiently streamlined to access under coffee tables and chairs which is good. The 7 m electric cable is sufficient to cover an entire large room.The machine cleaned well up to the skirting boards without the need for using the hose with attachment.

I bought this vacuum cleaner as it was offered at a very attractive price In a nutshell , as a stand alone cleaner it is excellent , being both lightweight, incredibly powerful and easily stored.We were surprised just how good a machine like this was more than a match for our current much heavier cleaner The controls are all in good positions and a breeze to access , the bin is simple to detach and empties easily So far so good .The one and only thing that lets this cleaner down is the positioning and length of the hose/wand assembly which is far from user friendly with the accessory kit we also purchased, this turned out to be a waste of money This is a real pity but not a show stopper as it was not purchased for any "fiddly " jobs ,

We were looking for a new vacuum for our three bedroom house to replace our aging Dyson. We needed something small and lightweight as my wife needed something easier to manage then the Dyson. From that perspective this fits the needs perfectly. The suction is powerful and the amount of dust and debris it picked up on the first few uses was amazing so much so I had to empty it after every use. Now that could be a problem for some as the capacity is pretty small but that’s the compromise you pay for the size and weight I guess.I like the adjustable suction control and the ability to turn the brushes on or off but it did take some getting used to. I only have one issue and that’s the length of the flexible hose.

This is our third Vax vacuum cleaner and generally, we are very happy with them. This one does not have an adjustable handle and my wife, who is just over 5ft tall, finds the fixed handle far long for her. Fortunately, we are able to use the adjustable handle off a previous Vax (although the colour mismatch does jar the eye a bit - purple/orange).Would it be possible for Vax to supply an adjustable handle, at least as an option?As for the rest, the Vax is excellent. Much lighter than our previous model and quieter too, but the pickup power is even better so apart from the handle, it's getting a thumbs up from us.In the interests of full disclosure,

Overall very happy with this cleaner. The suction is excellent, probably the best vacuum I have owned in this respect. I live in a 3 storey house and so lightweight is a big plus for me.The only downside is the hose connection for attachments is at the bottom of the tube and that makes it difficult to reach things higher up as it isn't quite long enough. It's a bit awkward and would have been better at the top of the hose. Also the single attachment that comes with it isn't great as the crevice nozzle is quite wide and not ideal for small spaces. I will probably buy the separate attachment set which will hopefully have some more user friendly attachments.Overall a good buy for the

I bought this for a promotion price, I had gotten used to the suction in my previous vac over the years so when I tried this I was so impressed , it sucks up dirt so fast and fairly slammed it into dirt chamber, the power is amazing for such a lightweight machine.I have to agree with the other users about the floor slider could be better, but then we are not talking about top spec machine which would cost hundredsYou can see the design and thought gone into this to make it lightweight but still powerfulFor the normal retail price this machine is sold for it is definitely worth getting, such a massive improvement on vacs of 10 years agoThankyou and a big thumbs up to vax, well impressed

I bought this a few weeks ago and after using 3 different vacuum cleaners over the last 18 months I have finally found one that does exactly what it says without paying a few hundred pounds for the privilege! The suction is good, with the ability to vacuum on long pile, thick short pile and wooden floors. Its compact and lightweight, easy enough for me to carry up and down my steep stairs with a long enough cord to plug in at the top and still do the bottom step. There are several attachments (to be bought separately) which I've not tried all of yet but everything that I might need is there - including one for my window shutters!

I bought this vac to replace my old vac which I had had many years and had broken. When I ordered it I thought I was buying the one with the longer cord and hose as they look very similar. It arrived the day after I placed my order and I decided to keep it. It is light weight and the suction is excellent. The dust bucket is not large so it needs emptying after most uses. I am on the whole extremely pleased with it.The cord could do with being a couple of meters longer and it seems quite thin. The hose really needs to be a meter longer however these shortcomings are reflected in the low price.

Now had the opportunity to try out this cleaner on tiled and laminate flooring and on carpets. The adjustment for hard floor and carpets is easy to use and variable, so that you can increase or decrease the suction power as required. The cleaner picked up many different sorts of dirt and dust effortlessly and sucked up a considerable amount of fluff from the carpet despite using what I thought was a high powered vacuum on the carpet in the past. It is light to carry, the bin easy to empty and the hose extension easy to use for dusting. In all an excellent machine that I would recommend.

After not having a Hoover for a while (every one I’d had before broke down within days) this had instant results. I expect a brand new hoover to pick up but this really picks up! I think it even got the mess I couldn’t see or didn’t know was there. Only issue was that when I can to empty it the suction must have been so good that it compacted the dirt and I had a tough time emptying it. Lol. Multi tool was ok although I don’t see how it’s a 3 in 1? Maybe a 2 in one but still does the job. Hose a little small but a fantastic machine that impressed me.

Brilliant hover bought this as my old over was too heavy to haul upstairs and was just too big overall, this one is just right for me easy and light weight to carry upstairs. Brill suction the amount of dust, fibres ect that it pics up is absolutely amazing to say there was nothing wrong with my old hoovers suction. But this new one sucks up way much more brings my carpets up brilliantly, Really easy to empty when all done, filters easy to access and clean. Handle easily comes off for storage and for using on the extender bit. I definitely recommend.

Vacuum Cleaner is very light with brilliant suction and is a joy to use. This makes it the first cleaner to go for even for the smallest cleaning job. A good design feature is a power button to operate brush on top of cleaner, a real bonus. Let down by extension hose that is too short and does not reach the ceiling without lifting the cleaner. It also involves removing the handle in order to use it which makes it impractical for a quick one off removal of a cobweb etc. Cord Hook is ineffective for diameter of mains cable supplied.

I had an older model of this machine that lasted well over the last 3 yrs This machine the only problem we found was it was hard work on carpet with pile as the suction height /level could not be adjusted and it was a fight to get it over PROBLEM SORTED There is now an added feature to adjust the power depending on the carpet pile and it now makes hoovering a lot easier Powerfull machine at a great price Only improvement I could suggest is a longer hose or an additional hose extension - but for the price paid Well happy

Bought to replace a very old Dyson that was worn out.This Vax was surprisingly light and could be called "tinny".However,in operation it was very good-excellent suction that picked up an embarrassingly large amount of dust!My only complaint is the lack of included tools apart from one small multi-tool which is not specialised for various jobs.These can be bought separately at extra cost.But for the money-a good little cleaner,ideal for the older people who would find it very easy to use

My Dyson hoover broke and I really didn't want to spend too much on replacing it. I looked at the reveiws and I think there was a mixed census. Anyway as it was on offer so I decided to buy and it's great..i just love it it's light easy to use. It has a setting for hard floor and deep pile carpets I feel it's a pleasure to do the hoovering now. My rug has come up like new as it lifts the pile. The hose is quite short but fine for stairs and it's light enough to carry.
