I was approached by a friend two months ago to try out and review this Shark Vacuum in exchange for an independent review. At the time, I used my Henry hoover; I have had two Henry hoovers over the last 15 years. In our house there are two adults, two children (7 & 9 years of age) and two very, hairy, Collie dogs. I was quite devoted to Henry and don`t like change; I was not looking to replace my hoover.I am under no illusion that anything is perfect and I take some impressing to give anything a 5* rating. Initially, I was unsure of issuing a 5* review but after using the vacuum for a number of months, I am truly converted. When I received the hoover, I assembled it per instructions, this was simple and took less than 5 minutes. So lets get the Con`s out of the way:I found the pipe that connects the wand to the hoover itself too short. Although the main body dos detach from the handle/stand, i like quick and easy solutions. The capacity is not as great as what I am used to having on my previous hoover. My final point is, the clip/sphere fitting that attaches the pipe to the main frame/handle does not stay in once you start manoeuvring the vacuum - I no longer bother clipping it in.Now for the Pro`s:THE SMELL! Henry used a hoover bag that needed changing often, as soon as it was turned on, the entire room honked of dog! I tried many things to remedy this: Scented hoover bags, Shake`n`Vac, scented beads that are placed in the hoover bag itself but to no avail. This is not an issue with the Shark hoover.THE SUCTION! My house is a combination of hard floors, rugs & carpets. The hoover has a hard floor setting which is perfect for my varnished wood floor and the suction is adjustable (only a finger swipe away) which is brill fro changing from hard flooring onto rugs. When I first used the Shark, I was mortified and impressed, the amount of dirt was collected! The amount of dog hair that was extracted from the living room rug was exceptional!THE WAND. I love the wand attachment that is stored on the vacuum itself, It has a nozzle at one end that also transforms into a soft brush attachment, simply by sliding down the brush (My previous hoover had no room to store attachments, therefore I had to carry them round in a bag. I found this a great alternative to dusting (I hate dusting!) It allowed me to hoover the books/bookshelf as the brush offers a gentle surface, I also reduced the suction and managed to hoover all my sons dusty Lego models! THE LIGHT! I have a black, speckled flooring in the kitchen that does not often show dirt and hair... Until the hoover comes out! It shows no mercy in highlighting the dirt and hair!MANOEUVRABILITY! I love how light weight it is. The whole moment took some adjusting to as I had never used an up-right vacuum. However, it did not take me long to master it! Under beds, around chairs, under that awkward gab of the kitchen cupboards and around chair legs, all were a doddle at the slight twist of the wrist. It moves effortlessly over all the hard floors with out any scrapes or scratches.COMPOSITION:The way the hoover is put together is so practical! I am a busy working mum and time is sometimes of the essence. The Shark is slimline so has now become a permanent fixture in my kitchen, I could not do this with the previous hoover as it was too bulky ant i used to trip over the pipes (Spacial awareness is not my thing). The dust filter is easy to remove and clean and everything just clicks open. The component that stores the hair etc just clips on and off and has a carry handle to transport it to the bin. It accessible from the bottom and the top, so no more trying to pull clumps of hair out with fingers. I know its revolting but I did have to inspect what had been sucked up and even the grains of sand were present (The dogs seem to be sand magnets). I have a slight dust allergy and this offers a much cleaner way of disposing of the waste - compared to a hoover bag that seemed to create a plume of dust when removed & placed in the bin. Please accept my apologies for the long winded review. I am and avid review reader; more so when purchasing items of significant value. It is with great regret that Henry has now been retired to the garage. Have left this for nine months before leaving a review. It's been in use solidly for 9 months. I have a busy house with 4 adults, 2 children, 1 hairy Springer spaniel,2 cats and a chinchilla, so it's used daily.Brought it to replace my Henry. I was getting frustrated with because it gets caught on every door frame and item of furniture. I have a mix of carpet and wooden flooring.Pros.This vacuum has terrific suction. Hairs do not seem to get stuck on the brushes too much. I do regularly pull off what is there according to the user manual. ( about once a month for me) The bristles down carpet setting is so easy to set. A thumb slide on the handle. Picks up very well off carpet. The hard floor setting picks up hair and dirty very well too, but not any large crumbs. To release the pipe / nozzle to pick them up is, is super easy, one button ontop of the main body detached it. My parents have a Vax Vacuum, to release the nozzle it attached to the head and very fiddly to bend over and do. The amount of dirt this picks up us tremendous. Very easy to empty. I clean the filters as recommended in the user manual every couple of months, should probably be done more though. The lights on the front I thought were probably a gimmick are actually amazing. They show up everything so I end up with a thorough clean.Cons. The reason why I dropped 1 star. A bit of a design fault. The pipe / nozzle could really do with being longer and a lot more stretchy. The body of the vacuum that you can detach so you can reach higher areas/ for the stairs/ furniture is quite heavy. But if you dont carry it, due to the shortness/ inflexibility of the pipe it is not long enough to leave it on the floor. And I mean short distances like my sofa. Re the wooden floors, after a bit of use, the head seems to now scratch the wooden floor. You can hear it dragging as you push it. I think it's due to the two small wheels either side of the head. Over a period of time, they get clogged up with hair and do not turn. It's the only part that does not come apart to clean. I've resolved it by sticking a thin felt pad to them. As they no longer turn it doesnt matter. The carpet setting stopped working. As I had activated the 2yr guarantee, I phoned the number and spoke to a "Shark Ninja"! After going through a check list, it was established the connections in the handle had stopped working. They posted a replacement which amazingly arrived the next day. I've yet to find out if this is a design fault and frequently happens, it costs £19.99 to replace if not guaranteed. I've told everyone to make sure they do not pick the vacuum up using the handle on the pole and use the one ontop of the body. All in, Still much better than my Henry.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Vacuum Cleaner and can only praise it for so many reasons. The build quality is excellent, although it is not the prettiest looking cleaner but as I am not intending to take it out on a date it doesn't actually matter. This is one cleverly thought out cleaner, versatile and easy to use and has outstanding suction, quite astonishing and I am very impressed. It took less than 5 minutes to unpack and start using it and even though it kind of reminds me of my old Dyson in the way that hoses connect, removing the dust holder to empty out the dirt and the way that the additional brushes and extensions and attachments go together, this is far superior in my opinion. The ability to change the mode from carpet to hard flooring is brilliantly integrated into the handle with a simple switch, also the way that you control the level of suction is implemented extremely well with a sliding switch that allows you to fine-tune the suction level as required. The Lift-Away is a great feature and something that I had never thought would be something you would ever need on a cleaner, however, once you have used it you then realise that it is a brilliant idea.Assembling and dissembling the cleaner is so straight forward and intuitive that I never had to look at the instruction manual one time.It has a decent length power cable and the cable is strong and substantial, I am confident that it will last a long time as it doesn't kink or snag on furniture. The bright led lights are superb as you can clearly see if you have vacuumed correctly in darker areas such as under furniture, beds etc so you never miss any areas. For the mighty amount of suction that this provides the cleaner is actually very quiet and didn't upset my dogs, who absolutely hate my existing cleaner and attack it if I get even close to them, this didn't faze them at all.Manoeuvring this cleaner is a dream, with its tilting axis it glides around the house with hardly any effort required on my part and due to it being so easy and manoeuvrable I vacuumed the house in half the time that it usually takes me and I could not believe how much hair and dirt this had picked up that my other cleaner had missed when vacuuming the previous day.I am incredibly impressed with this and no longer dread doing the cleaning as this has taken away the hard work element and I am able to reach areas that I would have to go around with a duster t take care of.I could continue and write pages of reasons why you should consider this over other brands, however, it is easy to just summarise by saying this is "fantastic"

On onboxing this hoover it literally takes seconds to put together, you don’t really need a manual it is so obvious where things go. I personally find the hoover quite heavy but I haven’t found a hoover yet that isn’t heavy but that isn’t something to be put off by, but if Weight is going to be an issue I would recommend going to a store to try one out for yourself before buying. The hoover itself has absolutely great suction and has a small bar at the front of the handle that you can move so suction isn’t as strong but boy does it lift the pile on your carpet, it goes right up to the skirting boards to give a good clean at the edges but if you wish to use the wand it literally unclips by just pushing a clip which is so easy and no real hassle, this model also has the lif away when the canister comes away from the stand so you can use the wand and walk around without entire hoover so makes it a great added feature for the stairs, for removing cobwebs from high up, to even getting under furniture without having the bulk of the canister, it’s a brilliant feature to the hoover. Going from carpets to hard floors is also effortless with this hoover by just flicking the switch on the handle from carpet mode to hard floor, and find that a handy feature without having to fiddle around with attachments. I have used the hoover in normal mode and also used it to hoover under furniture with the canister in lift away mode and it is so good, my old hoover wouldn’t go under furniture due to bulkiness of it so this is brilliant, it also comes with washable filters which is great as a quick rinse in hot water is all that is needed so no need to keep rebuying them although I am sure at some point you will need to replace but after looking on website they seem quite reasonable price to buy so may get a spare pack at some point. It has a really long lead and can do the whole of one floor without the need to keep unplugging and plugging in in each room which again is great and time saving. I have hoovered my entire house and the canister is not full and is so easy to empty you just unclip canister and push a switch and the dirt/dust just drops out, no messy fiddling to empty it is so easy. This model also has lights on the front to easy to see anything you might have missed, especially under furniture but I don’t see this hoover missing anything as the suction pulling stuff in is really good. I would recommend this hoover to anyone as it is a great hoover and has some great little features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Had been thinking about buying a Shark for some time now, and finally bit the bullet. I have two very fluffy cats and carpeted stairs, a match not made in heaven. I am constantly battling the ingrained fluff and have spent literally hours in the past trying to pull it all up with a rubber brush. I chose this model as it's for pets and I hoped would be easier on stairs. It took just minutes to unpack and put together, very easy. I used the pet turbo tool and tackled the stairs and, well, the results speak for themselves. In ten minutes the stairs looked a way they haven't for years. The pile was lifted, the colour had magically brightened, and despite regular previous hoovering,I had to stop halfway and empty the full bin of pet hair, dust and dirt. It had pulled out two full bins worth by the time I was done which was pretty amazing and equally horrifying. The liftaway aspect comes into its own on stairs and made it so much easier, faster and safer. I can't fault it for how it performed on this usually arduous task. The rest of my floors are hard floors, and this is where choosing the right model for the job becomes important. This does not perform so well on hard surfaces with larger particles because of the low front profile, it struggled to capture tracked cat litter around their box and just pushed it around for the most part. However, this is not a dealbreaker for me as I do not have large areas of floor to deal with and find it easier to use the wand anyway to get into spaces. It could frustrate anyone with bigger expanses of hard floor though. My elderly mum who lives downstairs has all hard floors and did struggle with this model. It's quite heavy on the front end when in upright mode and she couldn't use it for long because of this. We solved that problem by getting her a stick duoclean model which is lighter and better for hard floors, so I'll review that separately. All in all, for what I need it for and the space I live in, I am very happy with this hoover. It's quality and performance are beyond expectations and it's a worthy investment. If I had one gripe, it would be the dust brush and crevice tool attachment, the fact they are a single unit reduces the spaces the crevice tool will actually fit into and that's a little annoying. Other than that, I can't fault it and look forward to many hours of happy hoovering, and clean stairs!

So this little beauty arrived today complete with TruePet and I unpacked it ready to take it for a spin. Now my house is, honestly, a complete nightmare for the average hoover. Even top end hoovers specifically designed for use with pets have given up and died after a year. I have 3 cats (2 are long haired Maine Coons), a dog, 4 kids and a 'other half' so my carpets are horrendous come summer shedding time and no matter how many times I hoover I still find clumps of hair everywhere.First impressions, easy to unpack and very easy to put together. I didn't even need to look at the instructions. Lovely colours, the burnt orange perfectly compliments the navy blue, and very compact which is ideal for storage in the cupboard of no return. Also it's surprisingly quiet, I didn't need to wrestle the TV remote from the kids to stop them turning up the volume which is a definite plus.On carpets - excellent performance, picked up EVERY hair and even managed to cope with the unexpected bits of tat that end up being dropped on the floor unnoticed and stab you in the foot when you least expect it (last time the kids are allowed a stapler). End to end was good with the hoover cleaning right up to the skirting boards. Also coped well with the transition from rug to carpet without trying to munch on the rug.Hard floors - also good once I'd noticed the hard floor switch, picked up everything it found including the dry cat food the little fur balls manage to throw out of their bowls and the bits of cereal the kids had pushed under the cupboards hoping I wouldn't notice.I love the fact that you can remove the roller to clean out the bits of string which somehow always appear wrapped around it, no more bending down and poking around with a knife to get the roller clean. The only negative I found is that the dust collector isn't that big, but that's only because I'm lazy and have a tendency to only empty it when it starts busting out past the seals. It's certainly enough to cope with 3 days of cat fur, dog fur, spilled kitty litter, kids cereal accidents and the occasional crunched up crisps disaster.I did enjoy using this but not enough that the kids no longer have to hoover, it would need a rocket powered jet pack and the ability to fly me to the shops for that.Still, I'm seriously impressed

It has some upsides and downsides:- It's HEAVY and BULKY - with dust compartment detached it is so clumsy and difficult to manoeuvre. With compartment held in hand it is very heavy weight on shoulder and also annoying when both hands are busy but furniture needs to be moved around. It becomes a chore. Would hate to use it daily. [Try it in store if you can].- PUSHES LARGER ITEMS - the head is very close to the floor (~2mm) so it pushes larger rubbish including cat crumbs. It needs to be lifted off and placed on them, but head is also heavy so it is a chore again. It also cannot reach corners due to head design (see photo). You might still like it if you have only carpets, for hard floors I would not recommend it for reasons above. Yet, what is great about it:+SOLID QUALITY+ All unit is well built and everything clicks in and out with a push of a button.+QUIET+ Motor works smoothly and quietly, doesn't get hot.+SUCTION+ It is great; 750w+2 MODES+ In Hard Floor mode brush is not rolling; in Carpets mode brush is rolling - very easy to switch with a button+LONG CORD+ 8m/26ft+LED LIGHTS ON HEAD+ Very useful+ATTACHMENTS+ Fantastic attachments: 2 in 1 crevice tool, upholstery tool and powered pet brush. All can be attached to hose or cylinder very easily.+5 YEAR WARRANTY+ Shark has a great customer service and offers no fuss 5 year warranty. I trust this brand a lot and now would not consider any else.I have picked up Shark HV380UK Rocket model from Amazon to replace it. [600w, much lighter and much easier to manoeuvre. Tried it today and it is great]. I you prefer Lift Away design, consider to look at Duo Clean model - front brush grabs dusts and rubbish ahead of it and is much better around corners. I don't want to put off anyone from buying it as it can still be great, so listen to your gut. I initially wanted stick vacuum but reviews had put me off... After all I have managed to find Rocket stick model and I do love it a lot.Hope this helps someone, I have read so many reviews before deciding but unfortunately it has to go back.

Bought the NV681UKT after much research of many vacuum cleaners and ruling out of leading brands. I've had Vax and Dyson cleaners previously and not been totally impressed by either of them. I also ruled out Dyson battery powered cleaners due to poor battery life in high performance mode (typically 6 minutes). With 3 outdoor cats I needed something capable of picking up their fur and debris daily. The cleaner was very simple to assemble, involving just clicking the parts together with no tools needed. Performance exceeded my expectations and I was truly amazed at how much dirt was collected from a previously freshly hoovered carpet. The cleaner was easy to handle and I found the lights very useful.Converting it to its various configurations was really easy and after using it briefly it felt very natural. Reading some other reviews I thought I'd add my thoughts rather than repeat theirs. So, I agree the hoover is a little on the heavy side but not unduly so. I also concur the edge cleaning could be improved but I found it acceptable and there's always the edging tool if needed. I expected the pet tool to be electrically powered but it isn't. It is still very effective though and you can always slot the motorised main brush head directly to the end of the hose if you want that level of power. The main motor noise is very quiet but this increases substantially with the main brushes revolving in carpet mode. Notable plus points for me are the easy way the components click together, especially the dust canister for emptying, and the size of the main brush head. It's just the right size for navigating around furniture and between stuff, neither too big not too small. I'd certainly not hesitate to recommend this cleaner to anyone but do your own research to make sure it suits your needs.

For ages I’ve struggled using my dyson (pushing it due to how heavy it is) I could never manage to do my stairs properly because of the weight and the loss of suction annoyed me. The shark blows anything I’ve ever tried out of the water and I’ve tried my fair few of brands on the market such as Henry hoover, vax, dyson, hoover. The shark literally glides through my house on all my flooring types. It’s so easy to push I don’t even have to use any strength. It’s so light weight to lift and pick up and of course the lift away feature just makes life so much easier. I LOVE the light technology on the front it’s brilliant even in day light to help see everything you need to pick up.My old vacuum would tend to push pieces around my floor instead of picking them up where as this one push over it picks everything up without even trying. Including sock fluff which my old vacuum would really struggle with resulting in me having to pick fluff out of my carpets with my hands. I also love how easy the vacuum is to manoeuvre around with its 360 technology it makes life so much easier. And I’ve even seen hoover lines on my very old carpet. First time I’ve had hoover lines since the carpet was fitted nearly six year ago so this is a result for me. It lifts the pile and makes it look brand new! This vacuum is 100% 5 stars for me. My parents have now so even bought a shark as they now see what all the hype is about. I would reccomend this to anyone and even more so people like me who hate lifting and pushing around a big heavy vacuum which then makes you not want to do any cleaning. This makes house work feel enjoyable and I actually look forward to doing my carpets now. :)) thankyou shark. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Probably the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned ... and it beats the Dyson Ball Multifloor (DC40) hands down. There is so much to like about the Shark NV681UKT, it really offers everything you would need in a vacuum cleaner. This particular model comes with the following:1 x main unit1 x pet power brush1 x duster crevice tool1 x upholstery tool8m of flexInstructionsThe design of this vacuum is ingenious ... the main body lifts away leaving the brush and the head (still working) which you can now use to get under low furniture. Using the vacuum with the body lifted away, also makes vacuuming stairs easy with no worry about over balance. The machine is fairly light in weight and the maneuverability of the vacuum head is amazing,it steers around furniture with ease. This machine is reasonably quiet in use and the build quality is superb as is its performance. Suction power is second to none and I never fail to be amazed with the amount of dust, pet hair and debris this amazing vacuum cleaner picks up every day ... Who knew we made so much mess. The power cord is a decent 8m length which is always a bonus when vacuuming large rooms, also one little feature I quite like is the strip of lights along the front of the cleaner ... brilliant at showing all the hidden crumbs and dust.I have found that this vacuum cleaner works equally well on hard flours as well as carpets, suction is good on both. The supplied accessories are all well made and work incredibly well.I do have one slight niggle and that is the dust bin ... It's not very big and needs emptying often. A small price to pay for such a wonderful vacuum cleaner that truly is a joy to use ... a masterpiece of engineering.I love it.

This is my first upright hoover , and I am delighted. Its easy to assemble with each part firmly clicking into place. It has a robust feel of quality and is stylish in its appearance. This hoover has competently tackled all of the surfaces in my house seamlessly and with ease, from tiles , to wood, rugs and then to carpet. All facilitated with a convenient located button on the handle. Its easy to manoeuvre with one hand and is very responsive to turns. I thought my house was clean until I ran this little beauty around, the pet hair and dust it picked up was unbelievable. There is no dust bag, so it can be emptied easily as and when needed, and its quite gratifying to see the dust being hoovered up!It made light work literally of my stairs as the lift away part is light and easy to manage, giving you additional reach when needed for curtains and ceiling cobwebs and it easily snaps back into place when finished. There is one word that comes to mind 'versatile' . It comes with a lengthy electrical cord so can reach most places, and it doesn't hinder the functionality of this hoover. Storage is great as it fits upright under my stair cupboard, (123cm) high, so no wall space or corners are taken up in my living space . The only thing it could not do was pass under my sofas as they are so low (9cm gap from floor to sofa base), and the brush head was just a tad to high even when led completely flat. A well deserved five stars for its easy assembly, versatility and overall look and performance. I would take 1/2 a star off for not being able to pass under my sofa, but neither could my last hoover, as I think I do have an exceptionally low sofa! I have owned Hoover, Dysons, Henry and now this Shark. I have only had this for a week or so but it's excellent.I have sort of listed the positives and benefits below:-1 - The Brush head can be accessed and extracted from the top. This allows any trapped hair and wrapped up fluff etc to be removed easily.2 - there are lights at front of body at ground level. Really helps when cleaning under items.3 - East to clean filters.4 - Detachable body for doing stairs and under the beds which I found immensely useful as pulls up fluff etc. My daughter suffers from asthma so this extracts more than the usual hoover as it folds flat whilst you carry the motor and dirt collection unit.5 - Lots of attachmentsand hose variations you can use.6 - Very powerful suction.I was surprised how much extra dirt this was able to extract in my first run after I heavily hoovered using a Henry before this . The living room carpet pile looked like new and had a bounce with it again. Our bedroom rug felt plush and really soft under foot. My daughters room got almost a full container of dust and dirt that the other vacuum couldn't pick up, again brilliant for her asthma / ecthyma7 - Not too noisy, light enough weight, looks great but most importantly does a first rate cleaning job.8 - Has both carpet and hard floor options at a flick of a easily accessible switch. Hard floor use turns off the brushes.I bought one with an add on attachment for chairs and stairs - this is noisy as has a whistle noise as the motor uses a fan device to turn the brush. Can see this lasting years if basic cleaning and self maintenance is done regularly.

I had originally bought the non duo clean version and wasn't happy with the hose flapping about I returned it and bought this model instead NV801UKT... I could wait to get it out of the box....well I was mindblown at the difference.....immediately it felt different, it sort of drives itself forwards just enough to take the effort out of pushing. I loved this, I have several health issues and find vacuuming painful but not anymore.. the power cable is shorter than my previous D***n and doesn't quite do all of downstairs.....unless I take the lift away off then it reaches perfectly round the living room, just enough cord tomsqve unplugging.I'm still shocked as to how much fine dust is just sitting in my carpets and this bad boy is lifting up makes me feel quite unwell as to how truly dirty my carpets were!So easy to empty even if a good of dog hairs jams the bin... just open top and push it down....so easy It doesn't matter that the bin is small.Another amazing feature is how easy it is to remove long hair tangled around the brush bar....push two buttons to remove the cover and lift the bar out, I tried using the tool but it is just a hook, with out hair a blade within the hood would-be perfect so out come the scissors and hey Presto the hair is gone,,,, the brush literally just popps into place and so do3s the cover ready for use. Definitely think someone with long hair invented this and I thank you as you've saved me loads of time .All in all I'm so p,eased, 5year warranty and a bargain reduced price makes me super happy... Definitely a shark convert

Pros: Excellent suction and carpet beating: it actually pulled carpet coloured dust out of a 15 year old carpet, showing just how ineffective my old cleaner must have been. Light and manoeuvrable: it can deal with most situations in upright mode, and pretty much anything else in handheld mode. Conversion between upright and handheld is quick and easy once you get the hang of it. Onboard storage for the two main accessories, reducing the chance of losing them. Headlamps on the front are surprisingly effective and useful.Cons: Extremely small dust capacity. Don't let the size of the clear lift-off section fool you. Most of it is the cyclone area, and only the small section down the front is actually used for dust/fluff catchment. So you really need to empty the dust container after every use (which is thankfully a very quick and easy process) and you may even have to empty it more than once if you're doing a whole house. A self-retracting cable would have been nice, but you have to wind it between two spigots old school style. The hose clip into the back of the handle tends not to stay put. I've seen suggestions in other reviews to put some tape on the ball, to make it fit a bit more firmly. I might try that. First time use, 'which button does what' is somewhat less than intuitive, but it only takes once to learn. Some of the controls aren't even that obvious. It would have been good to have anything that does something highlighted in a brighter colour.Overall: Very impressed with it, in spite of a few niggles. Happy with my purchase.

Bought this hoover for my Mams birthday. Arrived packaged well and the outer box gave no clues as to what was inside. Our family hates hoovering, and we go through hoovers like loafs of bread. We have 5 dogs (labradors) who all shed lots of fur. First impressions are fantastic, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Very easy to assemble and I found all the different nozzles handy. Our old hoover has been broken for about a month and this hoover handled it all brilliantly. Suction is really strong (especially on the carpet mode) I was very surprised how much dust it picked up! All the other hoovers we have had only picked up surface dirt, this hoover went above and beyond!I’ve spent all morning hoovering the house top to bottom, and I’ve filled two carrier bags! All the nozzles and the main bottom bit have a dent running along the roller, so you can use scissors to cut any hair or string that gets caught up. The only downside I’ve found so far is that the bit that collects the dust is a bit on the small side, so it needs emptying often. Although it is very easy to empty! I read a lot of comments about the weight of the hoover, I would say it was sturdy but not that heavy. I didnt have any trouble carrying it around. The hoover does come with a 5 year guarantee as well, but you need to apply for it within 28 days of purchase. It was easy to apply for, I did it all online. Overall I am very impressed by this hoover and my mam is over the moon (especially since I’ve done the hoovering for her).
