I rarely ever write a review, but if your like me and hate sweeping using dust pans and brushes bending down to get loose dirt off the floor (something quick and easy kind of job until the deep clean day ) then this is for you! One quick once over when I got it and the amount off stuff it got up. Even loose particles of dust!! Not for a deep clean use but when you have two boys under four and a bad back due to disk ware and tear then this is what you need in your life. I just hope it lasts. The kids love it too. My oldest Wants to use it all the time. He is also diagnosised with ASD so any parents out there who have issues with loud Hoover's but hate sweeping just to let you know it worked a treat for us and my son.

Received this morning & have just put it through its pacesFirstly I need to point out that we only have hardwood floors, no carpets or rugs, I bought this to replace the GTECH air ram that sadly took an unplanned topple down the stairs & didn't survive! didn't want to wait for 10 days for a new one so bought this on prime,We have a Dyson animal as our main vacuum & that is used 2/3 times per week, we then used the air ram to pick up the daily "bits" fluff, dog hair, cat hair, litter tray trailings etcIts extremely lightweight & did a fair job of picking the above mentioned up, its not as powerful as our old air ram but then again its a 1/4 of the price so swings & roundabouts really,

Our last carpet sweeper (an own brand) lasted about 10 years and it was going to be a hard act to follow. After doing some research, this seemed to be the best value for money item with good reviews. Our dog has very fine hair light hair and we have a darker carpet which means it shows up a lot. We needed this to use in between the 'main hoovering' and it has done a great job. It picks up the hairs really easily and any other bits as well. Its a lot lighter than are other one and some of the others on the market. Since buying it about 3 weeks ago its been used about 4-5 times a week for about 10 minutes each time and we've not had to re-charge it yet. Overall,

This is the second one we've had of this excellent floor cleaner. My wife loves it. It should be noted that the swivelling handle (the base of which is already attached in the box) is secured by four plastic lugs which enable the handle to rotate freely. When not in use the handle is clicked into an upright position. If any of these lugs snap off (which happened on our first one) the handle just falls off. You don't appear to be able to buy this plastic handle base as a replacement item. We had our first one for several years but once the handle base breaks it is virtually useless. However we would still recommend it as it is a first rate cleaner. Just be careful with the handle!

Bought this sweeper because my floors are a mixture of tiles (bathroom and kitchen), wooden laminate (living room and study) and carpet (bedrooms). So it was a combination of hoover and good old dustpan and brush. Since using this floor sweeper however, it sweeps up everything without having to chop and change for the different surfaces. It is also extremely lightweight and portable. The amount of stuff that it gathers in the dust compartment is unbelievable, and I put that down to its effectiveness and not the dirt of my house! I use it twice a week and make sure its fully charged after each use. Really pleased with it, easy to use, just pick it up and sweep!

Fast delivery. No sooner had I pressed the purchase button, the door bell rang with the delivery (not quite, but it seemed like it). Now onto the Shark. A brilliantly engineered piece of kit. I do not know how the manufacturers do it for the price. In addition, it picks up beautifully on hardwood flooring and our rugs and carpets. The instructions are quite clear and separate items, very easy to assemble. It really is excellent and yes, I would definitely recommend it. This bits boring, but it pleases me to point out the outer/inner packaging is entirely recyclable and very well thought out.

I am very pleased with my Shark sweeper, it's light to carry easy to use and picks up bits great. It was easy to put together and charge. I will still need my hoover to do a good clean and get into nooks and corners, but this little Shark sweeper is just great for a quick whip round every day. I would recommend this product to anyone who has back problems as there is no bending with it, it even goes into a flat position to go under coffee tables which is great and there is really no effort needed to push this sweeper around.

got mine today couldn't wait it to try it out got 4 cats and a dog can't believe how much pet hair it picked up.went around my neighbours to show her the sweeper as she want a lightweight cleaner she was very impressed with it. I only had it charged for over 1 hour want manage to fill up 3 lots of dog hair from her carpets. 4 weeks later as the hand and comes in 4 parts one of them have now broken and having problems glu it together

Bought this because my old Gtech sweeper finally broke. ( just the handle... and couldn't be repaired. ) I needed a replacement quickly, and Shark seemed the quickest. It seems more flimsy than my old Gtech, but charges in just five hours, and holds the charge well. It is adequate for a quick clean up between vacuuming. Works on my carpet which is not deep pile. Better .on hard floors, and good value for money.

bit of trouble with handle in beginning,but soon sorted out.This is a cracking little sweeper, cleans every bit as good as the sweeper I have nowwand it cost 5 times as much.Easy and light to use and very light to use which suits me fine as I do my cleaning from a wheelchair . Would recommend to any one buying a sweeper

This is nothing short of brilliant. I’ve got a Shark vacuum cleaner which is amazing but can be heavy and cumbersome to use on hard floors every day. This is the perfect solution; light, charges quickly, charge lasts for ages, picks up all the bits from my wooden floors easily. Great purchase

Good, light and powerful little carpet sweeper. Not to be confused with a vacuum cleaner. Just what we needed for a quick and easy clean up before visitors land. It also has easy access to the drive wheel and roller for removing tangled long hair - a must!

I bought this for my 82 yr old Mum, who was having difficulty with the weight of her old vacuum. This has been a revelation to her, she is amazed how light and effective it is and keeps raving about it! Good price to. Happy Mum, Happy Daughter.Brilliant!

i bought this sweeper, as I needed something that I could use quickly and safely without worrying about cables etc, when my granddaughter is here. It is fine on wooden floors, not so good on rugs as it keeps stopping. I wouldn't recommend for rugs.

Great little light sweeper, says on box it’s very quiet but it’s the same as the noise from a standard Hoover, goes around corners well but it’s doesn’t do any carpets, rugs or Matt’s, cuts out when you try it, great on tiles and wood floors.
