I am always delighted to receive Shark® products to review as they are always such high quality! What an novel title for a vacuum - anti hair wrap! Curiosity made me want to open the box straight away! So what's in the box?Main UnitDusting BrushCrevice ToolAccessory HolderTurbo Tool with Anti Hair Wrap 10m FlexQuick Start GuideInstruction BookletI love the colour of this vacuum, electric blue and grey. It really looks attractive and took no time at all to build. Weighing 4.78kg, it doesn't feel too heavy if you have full dexterity. 10m of cord is ample for a large lounge or two average size rooms. The fact that it is free standing is a great selling point and I am very impressed by the way the wheels retract.Another great feature is the Anti Hair wrap! As the website states 'Tired of hair wrapping around your brush-roll as you clean? Anti Hair Wrap actively separates and removes hair with a unique bristle-guard, helping to leave the bristle brush-roll tangle-free. Perfect for long, short and pet hair.' If you own a cat or dog or any furry creatures that moult, this is ideal. The addition of Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9%* of dust and allergens inside the vacuum.*Based on IEC standard 62885-2 Cl. 5.11 at 0.3 to 10 micronsThe pod easily detaches from the stem to become a hand held vacuum. Along with an extendable hose, the included attachments make cleaning so easy and quick. The True Pet hair removal tool can be attached to the hose and is great for removing hair from furnishings, stair carpets and pet beds. The other tools are useful for stairs, corners, manoeuvering under furniture and so on.The DuoClean™ feature of this vacuum ensures that two unique brush rolls work together to effortlessly remove dust and debris from carpets and hard floors. As there are two brush rolls, if you have a combination of hard floors and carpets, you don't have to stop to switch over as this is done automatically. With the bright lights on the base, any dark or dim areas of the rooms are easily seen. The True Pet hair removal tool is a great addition and with its anti hair wrap feature means no more trying to untangle the pet hairs! The detachable pod is easily removed and with the hose extended to 1.0m and the dusting brush attached, vacuuming the furniture is quick and efficient.Detaching the wand from the main unit and adding the crevice tool ensures ceilings and corners are kept clean and dust free. This time of year there are many cobwebs too and as an arachnophobe, I don't like seeing cobwebs!!Once the vacumming is completed, simply detach the canister from the hand held unit and a flick of the switch ensures debris is easily emptied into the bin. Job done! I can highly recommend this vacuum and in my opinion, the quality and ease of use makes this very good value.  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I'm not sure how my carpets survived without this! I have a border collie and a 2 year old, and...well we'll get to that part in a bit.The suction power is AMAZING, honestly it felt like it was trying to drag me across the floor it was so powerful, so I can't fault that at all. Keep in mind I have a very short pile carpet. It's VERY heavy, my arms are killing me after a half hour sweep of all the downstairs carpets, it's going to give me a workout for sure, so if you have trouble with upper body strength, this may not be for you. Also, the bottom is HUGE. Honestly doing the stairs was kind of a pain in the butt, and the tools that come as standard don't really help with this part,so maybe look into getting the extra upholstery tool, or the pet multi-tool to go with it. As I said before, it's heavy, and the dust cylinder is very big, so using it as a handheld is a bit of a pain too.But back to the results, and the reason for my 4 star review. What came up from my carpets was both amazing and disgusting. I vacuum every day, and until now I had a £100 cordless vax...it had lost a lot of suction over time, and the dog hair was starting to weave into the carpet fibres with no hope of shifting it with my waining cordless...but I had no clue what was going on under the surface. It was like cleaning for the first time! So much hair and dust, I went over it again and again, emptying the cylinder each time before I was satisfied with how much (or little) was coming up. I'd gone so long becoming complacent with the results of my old vacuum, I was so unprepared for what the Shark sucked up. You just don't know what's lying beneath the surface, and in the underlay. I honestly don't know how I survived without a machine this powerful. No long hair tangling in the rotating brush either, so that's one less thing to maintain regularly. One final word of advice, when you first do your house with a Shark, check the dust cap after every room (the little metal mesh cone inside the cylinder). I hadn't realised it had filled up so fast, and ended up doing 2 more rooms before I noticed it was starting to overheat and lose suction. You'll know there's a blockage when it starts making a louder noise like it's blowing air out of the bottom of the cylinder. Don't forget to wash the sponge filter after your first go-over too.Now I know all this, it's an awesome machine, and I won't be going back to battery powered cordless vacuums. Corded just adds that extra power, and you don't need to worry about batteries failing over time. It also has a handy stand-up feature that stops it from getting knocked over, like our old one did so many times. Thanks, Shark. Now I don't have to fantasize about shaving the dog and my hubby!

I have had the 'Shark HV320 Rocket True Pet Ultra Light Upright' for around 2.5 years and love it so much. Other than a Henry, the Shark vacuums are the best vacuums ever made, in my opinion.I have used around 20 different makes of vacuums over the years (in my past job) and nothing beats the Shark. I wanted to get a second for back up, for the day mine suddenly gives up and then the model is unavailable. Well, low-and-behold, the model 'Shark HV320 Rocket True Pet Ultra Light' is unavailable. I contacted Shark and they told me it is now discontinued. However, this new model, that replaces the model I had before, is what I have since bought. It is a really handsome looking vacuum, the blue is stunning and it looks meaty and robust - which it is.However, it is very different to my former Shark in that it is much heavier, more cumbersome and not easy to use on the stairs (but then there is the stair tool). I do like to use my other model on the stairs (in full upright position) as it is light and compact enough to clean each stair effectively. With this newer model it is more of a chore and requires a lot of arm strength. Don't let that put you off though, it is not too heavy, just more than I have been used to.This vacuum is very good and does a great job at cleaning. The suction is good and the dust compartment bigger. The lead, as before, is very long and reaches around my whole house. It takes me about 15 minutes to clean my whole house. It is good on hard floors, has edge-to-edge cleaning (although the hose is needed for some corners) and still has the head-lights, always a bonus to see cat hairs, extra dust that may have been missed, and crumbs!I really do like this vacuum and am glad I bought it. It is simple, highly effective and does the job it is meant to do. This one, unlike the previous model, stands up on it's own (another bonus). If you need a new vacuum and are looking for advice, always go for a Shark (whatever model) as others, especially the Dysons, are the worst vacuums ever invented in my opinion (and I have used many models of those over time in my past job). Dysons - over complicated, over engineered tat that makes you want to just throw the thing out the nearest window. Dyson vacuums make a bl00dy hard and stressful job of vacuuming, plus they lose suction constantly and they block every 5 minutes.Get a Shark, you won't look back!

The anti-hair warp really does work. That’s the headline over with – On with my impressions. I do like Shark, this is my second having migrated from Dyson a few years ago and never looked back. My wife and daughter both have foot long hair so attacking the brush bar with a Stanley knife was something I had to do every two weeks. However, having vacuumed the entire house there were no hairs at all in the shiny new brush bar. This machine is well designed and built as I have come to expect from Shark. The 5 year warranty and ease of obtaining replacement filters is also a plus point. The small print reminds you to change the filters every 2 or 3 years in addition to a monthly cold water cleanfor one filter and yearly for the Hepa.Unlike my other mains Shark this required no adjustment to go form hard to soft floors. I did find that on one-bedroom carpet it was hard to push and there was no way to turn down the suction – It did really pull some dust out so I will see how it goes. The cord is longer at 10 meters meaning less plugging and unplugging. The flexible hose is short at 1 meter but there is the versality of the solid wand so you have options of how to use it.For carrying this up and down stairs I found it easy to hold the middle of the wand rather than the handle at the topIn summaryProsWell madeGood warrantyPowerful suction Long 10 m flexOn board accessory storageLed front lightsGood tools including the pet brushClear instructionsQuiet with no high-pitched whineHepa filtration so great for allergy suffersConsHigh centre of gravity with powerful suction so can be hard to push on some carpetsThe whole thing felt rather tall to me – maybe I need to get used to it?Overall its another winner from Shark especially the anti-hair wrap feature. I received the shark vacuum a few months ago, I previously had a Dyson. I live in an old Victorian house which has a large kitchen and lounge. Immediately I used the Shark and went around the lounge! The dust bin was full but my carpets looked fluffier, and I could even see lines in them!! I had friends come around and they were asking where I had got my carpets from, as they looked brand new. The long cord is amazing as now I can just go from room to room and not mess about with unplugging and replugging. I used the shark in its handheld form to clean away in corners. It has such an amazing suction, it was so easy and lightweight, I also saw my husband eyeing the shark up to use in his car. It’s so easy to take apart and put back together. I have very, very long hair as well as a long haired cat and it’s such an amazing feeling to know I don’t have to faff about cleaning the head and cutting the hair out and have dusty hair all over the floor again. All I need to do is just empty the dustcup. My best friend has Scoliosis and struggles with Vacuums that are lightweight but have a good suction and she really enjoyed whizzing th Shark around as she found it so lightweight and easy to move with such a powerful suction and again she was so happy she didn’t have to worry about cutting hers, her daughter or her Maine coons hair out of the cleaning head! I regularly look after my nieces who enjoy helping to clean up. They literally argued over who would do the vacuuming on the stairs as it’s just so easy to use and light weight, they didn’t feel it was much of a chore as the work is done so easy. Overall I would 100% recommend this vacuum and the shark brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Used my shark for the first time today and very impressed with how much dirt it got out of the carpets! It’s a little heavier than I originally wanted for a stick vacuum but I was aware that it was a bit heavier than your average stick vacuum as did a lot of research before buying and in the end chose the better features this had than a lighter model. However the weight is only a slight issue in carrying it upstairs (I’m small and weak!) as pushing the vacuum is easy despite some people saying it’s hard to push due to being top heavy, I’ve found it very easy to push, although I do have Berber type carpets rather than a long pile but glides over them with minimal effort.Tried it on my long pile rugs in the kitchen though and it picked up great off them also and didn’t seem hard to push on them either, just it lifts the rugs up a bit so you have to stand on them at the same time! The features are great, really love how it lifts away to do the stairs. You certainly can’t hold the whole unit up in the air with one hand though as shown in the video to do around the ceiling, you need two hands to hold it up (well I do) but it’s not an issue at all and gives you better control with two hands. And it’s still a lot lighter than most upright vacuum cleaners. Very pleased with my purchase overall. Not sure how the anti hair wrap feature will work as only used it once.

I must be officially getting old, writing a review for a vacuum cleaner. That said, after years of using a venerable Henry we got a dog. A short coated white dog. Who sheds hair like there's no tomorrow, and they get *everywhere*. Henry, even with the pet hair head, just couldn't keep up. When this Shark came down in price to £200 recently we looked at the reviews and thought - hell, why not?And indeed, hell, why not! We've just done almost the entire house. The amount of hair it picked up was as expected from other reviews but the amount of other dust and detritus it collected was, well, frightening. Within 5 minutes of starting, the thing was full (mostly hair!)and by the time we finished the carpets looked like they'd been washed. We'd never really clocked just how much dirt they could hold, and they didn't look too bad before but OH MY they looked clean afterwards. We've used it upright, with the head attached without the tube, with the hose and pet attachment and the hose and nozzle. By the time I did the stairs it was getting a bit heavy but I expect that's because I've never had a cleaner that sucks up so much dirt, and it's a while since I've done the whole house in one go.It's a 10/10 from us. Yes, using it without the upright system can feel a bit heavy, but I can take that for how powerful it is. Would recommend!

I bought this for Christmas and thought I'd give it a few goes before I would write a review.Well, the first thing I thought was "this is going to be complicated" when I opened the box and had to put some bits together, but no, I was very wrong HA!It's suuuper easy, just a simple click here and there you go, it's done! The suction of the hoover is amazing, our carpets haven't looked cleaner, we've had these carpets before we moved in and they look brand new. The fur from our pets is sucked in so quickly, within seconds the thing was half full! :) absolutely amazing! The light on it really helps too as you can see bits you've missed. The hoover is very light, when you click it apart to use the smaller bit for stairs etc it's a bit heavier than when you push it, but not as heavy as I thought it would've been. All the bits and bobs you use on the nozzle are really handy also.I decided to go for this cord one as my friend has the cordless and says it's very good but the battery on it isn't very long. So with that, I decided to go with this, the cord itself is very long too. Only need to plug it into one socket and it'll do downstairs and the stairs. Brill! Can't say enough about this hoover, it's pricey, but it's 100% worth it! Amazing! :)

I have had my new Shark for 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it. I am able to hoover under units, tables and chairs without having to move them all.The way it separates for the various functions is brilliant and saves so much faff. The only criticism isn’t of this hoover but off all hoovers I have had. I have 3 large fluffy dogs, and though the anti-wrap technology has been brilliant on the brushes and kept them clean and free of dog hair, the two tiny wheels still get clogged. TBH it was my husband who made this observation when he used the hoover for the first time today.I find the Shark steers brilliantly, the lowprofile gets under my kitchen cupboards, negating the need to separate the parts to use tools as I had to with my previous hoover and halving the time it takes me to hoover, even with the smaller dirt collector.Stairs are so much easier for me now with the lightness of the Shark and the quick and easy way it separates to a hand-held vacuum.I am only 5’ 3” and read some reviews complaining of the Shark’s height. It is tall, but the moment you tip it back the start hoovering I found the heighth immaterial, it simply enables a longer reach under and around things.

I absolutely love my shark.stick. I had a pcordless dyson before which we got because i suffer badly with arthritis. Was really pleased with it at first, because it was light and easy for me to use. After a couple of years the battery died and wouldnt charge, so we got a replacement. That was fine but it drove me mad having to remove my hair from the brushes all the time and the charge would only last 8 minutes on high speed. So time for a change. The shark is heavier than the dyson naturally, but its nit too heavy for me to be able to use it comfortably. It takes a while to get your head round having a cord and it can get in the way a bit.But the beauty is how much more suction you gain and the only time it stops running is when you switch it off. The tools are easy enough to fit and it is also easy to convert to a small hand held for stairs ect. My carpets look brand new after you have used the shark and it is great on hard floors too. The best thing i love about the shark is, i dont have to keep unravelling my hair from the brush. Im not sure how it works, but it is brilliant.

I have a dog and he is a long haired chi. I got this because we have bad back in our home and the other vac is large and attachments seem to fall off which was annoying and seemed to lose vac power and not exactly for pet hair. This one is for pet hair and the first time I used it was day I got it...I vac the downstairs carpets now important thing to note is these were already hoovered the previous day so when I did them with this Shark it really impressed us...the pet hair had gone and we could see it all collecting in the compartment with all the imbedded dirt it was like a full deep clean which is great. Then I did the stairs this was much much easier to do with the lift off vac which again is great.I used the pet hair attachment for this and wow. I have done my room today under the bed and still impressed with the deep clean power. I never really leave reviews after a day of owning the product as i'm worried that it may lose power I am confident with the 5 year warranty I applied on their website for that I will be covered. It is a great product highly awesome.

So glad I bought a Shark hoover after much research aa I didn’t want to buy another expensive yet useless hoover. This hoover is everything I need for our busy household. I love the great features :- from the lightweight design essential for my arthritic condition, to the well labelled parts; so I don’t have to keep referring to to the manual. Not forgetting the excellent suction of dirt especially hair. Even the dark areas in rooms are now illuminated with the lights, so no dirt escapes this hoover. In addition it seemlessly glides between my rug/carpet, wooden and tiled floors without the usual need to change settings. The long cord that comes with the hoover is an extra bonus as it allows me to hoover between rooms without disconnecting and reconnecting each time. Even general maintenance is easy as I have washed and cleaned the parts I am expected to with no problems. Although it is not cheap it certainly beats any Dyson hoover I have bought in the past. And I have bought many over the years! I would highly recommend this hoover without hesitation!

This is my 2nd shark vacuum - used to have a Dyson, but won't buy again after he promoted Brexit and then moved his company out of the country! And Mr Dyson did me a favour as I'm very pleased with my Sharks.I bought a shark lift away vacuum first which I was very happy with but gave to my daughter when her dyson broke down.I decided to replace it with this model and at first I was a bit disappointed but as I got used to it - having the dust container at the top instead of the bottom of the handle seemed very strange and wrong. But i very quickly got used to it and am very pleased with it.The brush head 'thingy' is quite small but this means it can get into small spaces, and the handle goes completely flat and so it slides under things easily too. And I haven't found the size to be a negative, I seem to cover the ground just as fast somehow.Oh and the anti hair wrap is brilliant, works really well, it's fantastic not having to get the scissors out and remove the brush to cut away the matt of hair wrapped tightly around it!

Being house proud in a busy home with two children and two dogs a brilliant hoover is key! We’ve previously owned Dyson’s and have now well and truly converted to Shark. Our last Shark was the Pet Duo Clean Lift Away that was amazing, so I was dubious at our new Corded Stick as the bar was set high. At first I was unsure if the smaller vacuum container would be big enough but it is perfect. The suction is amazing and the anti hair wrap is so much better, as it prevents any build up on the bottom of the hoover. I love that this can be used as a regular vacuum, taken apart for stairs etc, or lifted away as a smaller unit which ive used for my car. The cord is really long, which comes in handy and it is light and easy to manoeuvre. I also love that I don’t need to change the settings from hard floor to carpet. I love it just as much as our last Shark and would highly recommend! Any vacuum that can cope with our busy household in the way this one does deserves top marks. I chose this vacuum because I had been searching for a vacuum that I could handle and wasn't too heavy due to having really bad osteoarthritis especially spinal/shoulder and hand. The vacuum I had become far too heavy. I decided a stick vacuum would probably be better and tried them out in the shops and found most vacuums too heavy due to the battery. So I looked on the website and found the corded stick and decided to give it a try. I am pleased that I did. I am seriously impressed with this vacuum cleaner. Although being slightly top heavy. I managed it quite easily and whizzed it round in much less time than my previous one. It glides effortlessly from carpet to hard floor.Picked up the cat's crunchies without problems and fetched all the bits of fluff of a carpet that no other vaccum could ever get totally clean. There was no hair wrap when I checked the brushes either. For the first time in quite a while, I have a vaccum that I am able to manage and use most days. I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner
