Good vac, but don’t expect it to be your only vac, unless where you live is very small, or you don’t have any carpets/rugs.Main plus point is that it’s cordless but by definition all battery life is problematic, the more you use it, the less time it lasts!Other plus points: lightweight (important when it won’t stand up on its own); easy to take apart and clean; without the long tube its good for stairs, difficult corners and dusting surfaces other than floors; it’s got harder to find vacs with a beater in the head, which is pretty much essential to clean carpet, so to find one in a cordless, for the stair carpet is a real bonus.Minus side is that it’s quite small,

Extremely impressed with the power and convenience of this cordless vacuum. Has great suction and if anything is a little bit more powerful than our other cordless, a Dyson (which is very good too). The VAX more than does the job and very happy with it. It clearly displays battery levels, has a power boost and motorised brush head (which can be turned off or on).Although marked up as reconditioned I can't see any evidence of prior use and it works perfectly. Delivered within 48 hours and came in original box, with tools, although no manual and no wall mounting - but have purchased that elsewhere for just a few quid. The vacuum is quite heavy but well balanced and easy to use.

When we received our new Blade Vax it was put on charge over night, when we used this portable cordless Vax it out performed our corded vacuum cleaner.The included motorised floor / carpet attachment felt like it was pulling you along getting you in all the hard to reach places. The vacuum seems large and cumbersome but is the opposite a well balanced performance cordless vacuum cleaner with plenty of charge to clean the average 3 Bed house.Emptying the Vax Blade is easy to do with washable filters protecting the motor. Highly recommend this product as a low cost easy to use and effective product.

Bracket is a bit fiddly to hook and unhook until you get a feel for it and the lead just hangs loose. Also there’s no onboard storage for attachments.We have a collie and a cat, both relentless hair shedders! Works great for them, the brush bar on the carpet it amazing. BUT we also have three long haired humans in the house. This is more of a problem. The brush gets clogged after every use - about 3x a week. To remove and clean you have to unscrew 3 screws. No quick release which is a shame.

This hoover is brilliant. Power is excellent, running time good and far easier to hold without switching it accidently off, compared to other Vax Blades. The charging point was a tad hard to find though as the instructions tell you it's 'hidden' and indeed it is. The photo is of no help either as it shows it as being on the front, when actually it's at the back, underneath the 'flat part' that would fit against the wall, just below where the hanging bracket fits. But easy to find once you know.

The blade ultra pet is a really good vacuum. I have cats who shed lots of fur & I have long hair myself. This vacuum picks up lots of fluff & dust, it works really well & the powered brush head & boost modes are fab for tough to pick up dirt. The brush head is removable by unscrewing the side of the floor head without the motor, then you just twist & pull gently, the brush head comes out so you can cut hair off it easily. Then just pop it back in & screw the side back on. Charges fairly fast.

I bought this vacuum cleaner hoping it would be as good as my last; it was better! The performance on this hoover is outstanding and the boost mode makes hard to pick up fluff and dirty easy. It has 3 attachments to help suit all needs and they are all really easy to click on and off. The vacuum cleaner charges quickly and is fantastic at cleaning up pet hair without blocking it or reducing performance. It is easy to empty and put back together. thoroughly recommend and am so pleased with it!

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about how good these cordless vacs are but have found this Vax Blade Ultra to be amazing. It has a motorised head, 2 suction settings, loads of attachments and a plastic wall mount. It really does have a quality feel to it. It has managed to pick up everything given its massively competitive price with other cordless manufacturers. If you don't mind emptying it regularly due to the small waste holder and charging it up then I would 100% recommend this.

Was a toss up between this and the next best rated at £40 but I have allergies and decided I needed to spend on a vacuum! It is easy to use and lightweight, charges quickly and works on carpet. The only thing to say is that you need both the brush bar and boost mode switched on for it to work on carpet which means the battery probably only lasts around 15 minutes (which is fine as I'm in a 1 bed flat). It also doesn't deal well with my very long hair which gets wrapped around the brush bar.

Overall, really happy with this purchase- perfect to get around our flat and picks up all dust and dirt.PROS- Light weight design (super light to lift in and out of our cupboard, and around the flat)- Good sucktion (far better than I expected / other cordless)- Good value (cheaper than Dyson)CONS- Battery life not thaaat long (I think it lasts about 20 mins, which is good but you need to remember to charge it between uses, otherwise it'll cut out before you get the job done)

Am pleasantly surprised by this cordless vac - had to buy to replace a different make of cordless vac which had lot its suction after only 8 months - the suction on this is superb. It looks great, and is easy to use. There are a few gripes: dust container is quite small so needs frequent emptying and the battery runs out quite quickly (I live in a flat and one charge is just about enough to do the whole flat) but overall, I cannot fault the power and sturdiness compared to my previous one.

We got this as a replacement for our dyson v6 (which was on its last legs for a while as the battery kept dying after 2 mins of use). We were apprehensive about getting another Dyson due to the poor battery life quality we, and two other members of our family, had experienced.We believe this is one the same par as the Dyson with the suction, and we find the design much better as there is a button to change it from hard wood floor cleaning to carpet. We get around 30 mins cleaning time.

In over fifty years i have bought several vacuum cleaners and although initially they performed well I always found them difficult to clean and heavy to use. Now, at age 81, I was struggling with a cylinder vacuum that I have had for only two years. I decided to have one more go at finding a vacuum that would not wear me out using it. I thought long and hard about buying a cordless stick vacuum but finally I chose the Vax Blade Ultra and immediately I knew i had found my perfect vacuum.

We bought this Vax cordless cleaner to replace a similar Dyson which packed in after two and a half years, just outside the guarantee. This VAX was on offer and significantly cheaper than either Dyson or another brand called Shark which we were unfamiliar with. The Vax is lightwight but more powerful than expected. We have a small dog and a mix of wood floors and mats plus stair carpets. This little machine is excellent on them all. Highly recommended and definitely better than a Dyson

Oh Lord, this makes vacuuming fun. Never thought I would say it, as housework is one of my pet hates, but this machine does it all with ease. No cumbersome mains lead to get in the way, it's light and can get into most nooks and crannies without any trouble. The powered head is a real boon for getting carpets really clean and it's very good at cleaning hard surfaces when the powered head is turned off. Very easy to empty and to maintain. My house has never been so clean. Recommended
