I really like this Rum. I have the El Dorado 12 year old and 8 year old as well. The depth of flavour matches the aging, and they are all superb in their own way. This is the lightest flavour of the the three, but not in a bad way at all. I drink my Rum neat, and this is no exception. I love the hints of toffee and caramel in this one. This will cost you 2 or 3 £ more than your average Supermarket stuff, and worth every penny.

surprised with the taste.It's smooth, goes down well. Touch of fruit, then I read the description which says it is. Brilliant Rum.It will be in my stock list at all times from now.Have since tasted the 8yr one, even better.Added bonus: Amazon delivery and service.Recommended, don't miss it.

This rum is truly delicious - richm smooth and sweet. Its the best rum I've ever had and my favourite drink in the world. Try the 12 and 15 year old as well if you feel like splashing out, they're well worth it.

The best gold rum I've tasted under £30. None of that ethanol or oiliness or blandness you can get with cheaper golds. It's full of character with a premium taste that's well worth the few extra bucks.

Superb quality yet again from El Dorado, I normally drink the 12 year but tried this and was very satisfied with the depth and quality of the rum, for its price point it’s exceptional.

El Dorado is great rum - I like the 12 year old for sipping, but this is slightly cheaper so is a good opportunity to mix those dark and stormys!Very nice on it's own as well.

I would go as far as to say this is one of the nicest rums I have tried for a long time! Really smooth and delicious. Great value for money.

I never liked rum much until I was introduced to Eldorado rum while working in Guyana. It's so smooth I drink it straight with a bit of ice.

love my Rum but had never tried this one, I drink it neat or with one lump of ice in it , some rums can be really rough but this is nice

This is absolutely the best rum. Could buy it while working in Guyana for £1.50 a bottle back in 2002 - 5. But what price quality?

Discovered this rum in St Vincent, lovely taste to it. I find it very drinkable and anyone I have introduced to it so far agrees.

Pleasant mellow flavoured rum, nice taste, keeps up the ElDorado family tradition. My family & friends enjoy drinking this rum.

WOW! Utterly beautiful. Devine, is the only word for the taste of this. Beware thou... it can go in just one sitting.

I can't fault this. Having tried the 3 year and the 8 year, I keep coming back to this one as my favourite.

Tastes amazing - very smooth with a bit of heat can easily be drunk by itself or with mixer.
