This rum is my new favourite drink of all time. It has caramel and banana flavours and is incredibly drinkable just poured into a glass, over ice. I could drink a whole bottle of this stuff if I had a spare liver! The flavours are delicious and moreish. It's so smooth and just hits the spot perfectly. I was in two minds about buying it because it was so expensive and lots of people had said it wasn't a spiced rum. Well it could be a spiced rum, but it's even better. I like Black Magic and my husband loves Dead Man's Fingers, but we both agree that this rum is far superior to both. We've tried quite a few spiced rums now and this one beats them all, although technically I think it's a sipping rum rather than a spiced rum.

Bumbu rum was just one of many random rums I have purchased over the years and what a great buy it was!!I wasn't expecting anything special from my purchase but when I first opened the bottle the aroma was extremely pleasant, I couldn't wait to give it a sip at room temperature. Bumbu is full of fruity candied (sweet) flavour and very easy to drink so much so that my first bottle only lasted a couple days.I've shared this rum with various people some who don't enjoy or know much about rum and the majority of people have been blown away by how good it is.If your more into smoky or not so sweet rums this may not be to your taste.I really like the presentation of the bottle and it can be used

This is an amazing rum although I ordered it on the 13 of November, got 2 e mails telling me to order else where or cancel/refund on and after the delivery date , it was a Christmas present for my husband and was not in the least pleased about it , it eventually turned up in the middle of January, I know I should pay for next day delivery but two households paying for the same service is not suitable, so fantastic product crap service after two rejected emails to Amazon, never had a problem before, and yes I feel for them as I work in care and haven't been furloughed either , hopefully I wont encounter any more problems , keep safe xxxx

I have appreciated rum for many years and have enjoyed trying most on the market. I usually drink the stronger darker ones and rarely touched the spiced varieties however after being bought this as a present I was very impressed. This is, in my opinion, one of the best out there. Fantastic taste, drank my first bottle over ice then the second and third (in the following weeks) just neat. The ice just dilutes the superb flavours.This is an amazing sipping rum and great value for money. Be warned tho an open bottle is an empty one !

Bumbu has been my favorite rum for a long time now and nothing helps me wind down after a stressful more than a Bumbu and Coke. The bottle design is also pretty sleek and great for collectors if you are one but the biggest downside is the cork, if you intend to use the cork multiple times to open and reseal the bottle you'll find that they're very brittle and leaves cork bits in the rum quite often which, granted, doesn't affect the flavour but it can be off putting when you take a sip only to feel something solid in your mouth.

Bumbu : 4.7 / 5Spiced but sweet. A lightly spiced vanilla flavoured rum which blends well with coke but especially with ginger ale and ice.. Dark and Stormy!One for the nice hot weather which we are being treated to currently and it gives off a delightful refreshing flavour..Is it better than kraken I hear you say? For day time drinking, I would say so... however if you plan to be tearing up any UK dance floor, I would edge towards a spicy Kraken.Buy Bumbu for the summer vibes, you won’t be let down..

Absolutely love this rum, so I was in the market for a nice rum I could drink easily, appriate the taste and just have something new to try apart from all the other rums out there you can easily by in a supermarket. So this bumbu rum ticks all the boxes and is absolutely amazing stuff, easy to drink, smooth, flavoursome. For me it tatse mad smells like bananas. Trust me people you will not want to waste this rum by adding coke, strait is the way forward hear.

This is a must try for those who like rum. The bottle is gorgeous and has a cork stopper. On opening the smell is of caramelised bananas dripping in brown sugar and Madagascan vanilla syrup. When you taste it it is smooth and goes down a treat with no afterburn. The vanilla and caramel tastes remain slightly intensifying after drinking. A beautiful rum which deserves to be drunk neat and savoured with friends in front of a wood fire.

A lovely tasting rum. I was initially cautious of the hype behind this rum but decided to give it a try. I'm over the moon I did. It is without doubt one of the best well balanced rums I have ever tasted. It has no harsh meth tastes and has really nice hints of banana (which I don't normally like) and vanilla. Perfect for sipping straight and mixes brilliantly with coke. Definitely worth the price, you won't be disappointed!

Great rum to drink neat and has some wonderful flavours to it. Whether you like a nice cocktail with a hint of something different or to have on its own this really is a great choice rum. I would honestly say it is my favourite go to drink. One of the most notable elements is the beautiful aroma from the moment you open the cork stopper, which is merely the ice on the cake of its fruity taste - highly recommend!

Having started losing my taste for whisky recently, I've been sampling different rums. This one is definitely my current favourite. Very smooth with a pleasant taste of banana and caramel. I decided to put a generous measure in a Banana milkshake from McDonald's after a long day at a festival, a couple of months ago. Great on its own, or with coke but trust me, it livens up a banana milkshake!

A very drinkable rum of the sugar cane variety - sweet in flavour with lots of vanilla tones. While this rum if very tasty with a cold mixer I can’t help feel that the ‘rum’ flavours a lost a little in the sweetness - maybe 35% proof tells a little of the story here.That being said if you don’t enjoy the harshness that some runs offer this would be the perfect rum for you.

Although it is obvious any review on such a product will more than likely be subjective, and based on the individual's own taste, this rum is lovely and well worth a try! With notes of caramel and banana (not chemically tasting fake banana may I add), I enjoyed this rum on the rocks. It's a very easy drinker, and I can imagine it'd go very well in a cocktail (or 3). I really only drink ales & lagers. I can't really handle any kind of spirit, just doesn't settle right with me.I bought this for my dad as a gift (not on Amazon, price was similar) and tried some myself, because why not. It's beautiful. The price tag is worth it. He and my mum are rum drinkers and they loved it, so did I.10/10 would order again.

I've tried many premium rums and this is something special. It has a hint of creamy caramel and banana to it which sounds off putting maybe but it's entirely non synthetic tasting and just delicious when mixed with coca cola. It's so so smooth, to the point where its very easy to drink and go a little overboard! Definitely my favourite. A real gem.
