Decided to try this on Prime Day. This rum is great if you don't like strong aftertastes with your alcohol as it doesn't have one, I could easily guzzle it down. Don't regret purchasing but think I will stick to Kraken as I prefer having a vanilla aftertaste. I only drink rum mixed so can't comment on how it is neat.Update: When I initially tried this, I was really into spiced rum, however, after drinking this for a while, I've really grown to like this! I've gone off drinking spiced rum now and would love to order another bottle whenever there's another deal (as it's a bit pricier than I'd normally pay for rum).

Bargain! You can't buy Brugal from shops in the UK so I was very surprised to see it listed on Amazon at such an amazing price. The supplier is based in Germany so expected to wait a few weeks especially over the festive season but it arrived in 3 days. Beats some UK based companies. I first tried this rum whilst on holiday in the Dominican and have struggled to find such a good tasting rum since. It actually tastes like the Caribbean. I was so impressed with the price I bought 9 bottles ? Here's to a very Merry Christmas.

Love it, its such a subtle drink and its still rum. I have created a group who know I get this, allegedly when I order I get the good stuff. But they do as well but they like the fact I eulogised about it to them and we all love it. Late summer evenings with a barbie and no mixers just this maybe over ice...gorgeous. It changes my whole mood to 'easy now bruv, let's sit down, think about it'

Having first had Brugal rum in the Caribbean in the 90's, I was delighted to find it on Amazon. Having bought the bottle, it tasted just as good as I remember. Its smooth, easy to drink (even neat) and has a huge amount of flavour. If you're in the market for a nice glass of rum, neat or mixed with something else? THIS is the one to buy

I first tried Brugal when on holiday in Dominican Rep where it's from, we ended up bringing a couple of bottles back after the factory tour. Very pleased to finally be able to buy it back home as well! Great taste, works well in cocktails, but my favourite is in a good old fashioned Cuba libre!

Very delicious and smooth rum, easy to drink on it's own, or with a slice of lime/over ice, half the bottle disappeared far too quickly. Delivery was quick and came in a well protected box, so I'd have no concerns ordering again as it'd be unlikely to break during shipping.

Ok so it's not you top shelf sipping rum but if you're looking for something to mix you won't go far wrong. It's not overly sweet and is very robust so goes well with coke or juice and in cocktails where you still want a backbone of rum taste to come through

Great value rum. Not premium quality, but then it's under 20 quid, so cannot expect it to compete with high end rums. Tastes similar to Havana Club 7 year old. Really like this rum - one of the best rums around for under £20. Highly recommended.

The Brugal Anejo is a great entry rum from the number 1 caribbean rum brand - Brugal. Currently not available in UK supermarkets (although you can find it in quite a few bars and clubs these days). Nice liquid and huge in Spain.....recommended!

Always a winner. If you're a fan of rum but don't like the spiced stuff, this is something for you.Get a large glass and fill it with plenty of ice. Squeeze half of fresh lime and pour the rum over it. Top up with coke and...You're welcome ?

I buy this regularly for my husband for birthdays and anniversaries! It’s difficult to get hold of in the UK after he first had it in Spain many years ago. It’s his favourite rum and the bottle looks fab for a present!

The dull mornings at work now fly by thanks to Brugal. Nothing like a song in the lift as you make your way to your office. Told my boss he was a great guy and I love him like a brother the other day there.

I bought this because it was rated highly and the price was very competitive. The flavour is not as intense as others that I have tried, but it is good, nevertheless. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

My favourite rum and I couldn't find it any shop...low and behold good old Amazon to the rescue! Ordered on Prime and delivered next day, rum to your door is like heaven. Lovely.

Not the most complex rum around but hits the spot!Degree of warmth and some burnt caramel taste-a good sipping rum and base for a Cubra LibreGood bargain at the price as well
