Quick review of this rum with reference to others I have tasted and a guide where it sits in terms of quality, taste etc against the other options on Amazon.Price.At £12 this may seem extremely good value, but it is only 30% and is made with synthetic flavourings. In saying that it will cost you another £5-8 to get that extra 7.5-10% ABV.Fairly basic bottle that recently had a rebrand to fit spiced runs new tattoo/alt aesthetic.Taste.I went with 50ml measure + 150ml Coke Zero, ice etc. I found the combo left a noticeable vanilla taste with little to no alcohol coming through. My partner thought it was basically cream soda. It's probably the most artificial sweetness I've tasted in a rum,

Flavour - personally, I would say that this is not your typical spiced rum taste. It's extremely sweet, almost sugary even. Although still very nice!The only way I can try to describe this drink to someone would be like this - I typically drink spiced rums like Oakheart, Red Leg, etc. I found this drink to be very different from my norm. It's nice for one or two drinks as a mixer, but found it to be quite sickly after a while, so I move on to a different drink. My girlfriend however, is not really a spiced rum drinker. She loves sweet, sugary flavoured drinks, like Malibu, Koku Kanu, flavoured gins, etc. and she absolutely loves this spiced rum!Hope this review helps.

For £12 you cannot go wrong with this rum. While it is only 30%, I find that it is excellent to drink and is very easy to drink. There is a big smell and taste of vanilla. Surprisingly, I discovered that it went well with lemonade, which I found strange with spiced rum, as I haven't discovered to work well with other spiced rums. But it is up there with my favourite spice rums such as Sailor Jerry's. I always go on at my friends about this rum, and when they got to try it, they also enjoyed it. So I would recommend this to anyone looking to try a new spiced rum, and for the price, you can't knock it.

Title sums it up really, It has a strong artificial vanilla flavour that when drinking it straight isn't that nice IMO, It reminds me of bells honey whisky, In that the flavour is there to mask how cheap the alcohol is.That said, I really enjoy using it as a mixer with coke, it ends up tasting close to coke vanilla which Is nice since finding that flavour in its unbutcherd full fat state seems impossible nowerdays and considering it's only £12.50 a bottle, I'll will definitely be buying this again.

Now that I have finished the bottle, I think I can write my review...I bought this on offer for £12 but I don't think I'd pay anymore for it. It's quite a sweet spiced rum, it's like a sweeter version of Admirals Old J Spiced Rum.Having said that, it's very nice and has a very distinctive taste unlike the common Captains Morgan's and Bacardi, I would just struggle to spend anymore than £12 knowing I can get Old J for not much more money.Overall, definitely worth a try if you haven't before!

I love this rum, it’s not the best but it’s absolutely wonderful for swigging out of the bottle in bed like an old lush after the most crappiest day at work! By that point, decadence is firmly out of the window and you’re considering alcoholism as a coping mechanism without the horrendous hangover. I could consider a career change but this is cheaper and much sweeter! Bottoms up, chin chin, glug glug! ?

This is a very smooth spiced rum, sweet and flavoursome, some may say that it is to sweet. The alchohol content is fairly low so an ideal drink if you settling in for long night (or day). The price varies on Amazon so dont get caught out reordering automatically. This isnt your high end rum that costs in excess of £40 a bottle, if you are looking for a decent everyday spiced rum give it a go.

Thought I would start branching out from the good old Captain Spiced Rum so have been sampling a few. This was £15 so gave it a whirl.It is beautiful! Doesn't even need a mixer in my eyes but I did try it with ginger ale.I worried the Vanilla was going to be overpowering (as I don't actually like it) but it is very subtle and far too easy to drink!!Will definitely be getting this again

This is surely the softest and/or smoothest of the many spiced rums around, and one needs to be in the right mood or frame of mind to deal with the, frankly, cloying sickly-sweetness that may threaten to overwhelm. If that's the bag you're into, I'd say Lamb's is the best of the spiced rums around. Recommend trying - if only at least once! - the "boldest" SPICE HUNTER - quite an experience!

Was looking for a tipple during the outbreak until I came across this being sold for £12. Goes really well with diet ginger ale. Has a lovely subtle taste that doesnt make you breathe fire like some other rums like Dark Matter. It smells amazing too with notes of cinnamon and caramel too. I may of found my go to cheap spicy over Bacardi Oakheart.Their Navy Rum is great too.

I've tried quite a few runs, this one just comes up top for me. I ran out so my partner got a different brand from the local shop and after having this one, other rums just aren't as enjoyable for me anymore!I will be sending this to everyone near my birthday and hopefully get it gifted to me a few times so I can build my stash up lol

Its a nice rum very sweet flavourings of vanilla.It can't beat the best (Chairmans reserve spiced rum) however the price is amazing and they are both very similar in taste.I would recommend this rum if you are looking for a great taste without breaking the bank , its a very underrated rum with stockists but definitely worth trying.

Given the choice, I'd usually take a dark rum over a spiced one. This rum, however, is a very tasty alternative, especially if you value taste over alcohol content. Unlike the massively over-cloved (and overpriced) Rumbullion, this rum has a very drinkable, albeit sweet, taste and is delicious drunk neat.

Now that is nice! I drank it neat and was very impressed how mild it was. I don't mean weak, but that it did not scratch my throat or make me cough like some alcohols do. I tried it with ginger ale which was good also, but I prefer it straight. This is one for the girls as it is quite sweet.

For £12 a bottle, I'd buy it just for the gorgeous design. But in terms of flavour it's a 10/10. Such a smooth, vanilla flavour. If you're someone who wants a "strong" tasting rum, this probably isn't for you as I'm sure it could pass as non alcoholic, but I and my boyfriend love it!
