This a first class whisky. I think the best way to review a whisky in order to make it helpful for others is to list some whiskys I think this is similar too and share my preferred Drams. That way you know if your taste is similar to mine you will be more likely to enjoy this whisky.The whisky itself is very dry and sweet. It tastes very much or a fruity malt loaf. As soon as I took a sip of this whisky I thought to myself this tastes just like Soreen malt loaf. There is lots of raisin in the taste and some hints of vanilla.Originally I was put off trying this whisky due to its tasting notes saying it has a hint of smoke. I really don’t enjoy smoky/peaty whiskys.But l have this a go in the pub last night and I didn’t get any hints of smoke thankfully.

My good lady likes whisky, but it has to be light on the palate. This one fits the bill perfectly. Even though it's from the Spey Valley it's easy drinking with a lovely trick it does in your mouth: it turns from a light spice into a honey taste, it makes it very interesting to drink, often leading to a second wee dram. Perfect for the end of the day - it's also delicious with a small piece of chocolate if you fancy a wee treat.

This just took first place over Glenlivet 12 for me. Nose: Lots of honey and fresh fruit, sweet and sour, confectionery, sour apple, pears. No smoke as far as I'm concerned.Taste: sweet Sherbet, citrous, sour apples, lots of manuka honey, almond, very smooth, slight toffee, rasins and slight ripe banana. Absolutely no smoke.

Looks great and comes very well packaged - so well packaged I needed knives and scissors to get it out lol! Going in a hamper, perfect size and yet to hear verdict on the whisky itself but confident it's going to be great.

Lovely drop, so nice that I had a bit too much of it in one go so and cant really remember exactly how it tasted but it must have been good so its 5 stars from me

I love this whiskey and it is such good value. A really light and subtle taste that is so so moorish :-)better off buying 2 and save time and postage :-)

Sadly had to give it as a present to my brother, got a wee taste however. Will get one for myself next promo and get him a big standard Glen Moray.

Easily one of my favourites whiskeys. Smooth, slightly smokey and very flavourful and balanced. Up there with the very best.

Great whisky if you enjoy a single malt which is like honey and a bit oaky. You never go blended after you have tried this.

This is the best single malt available. Its taste, colour and scent will have you hooked from the first sip. Enjoy !!

Purchased as a xmas gift for someone that loves single malt. Feedback was very good and would buy again.

Box was crumpled - looked as if it had got damp but there was no sign of leaks on the bottle.
