I'm by no means a bourbon connoisseur, but I do enjoy the occasional drink which nearly always means some form of bourbon is involved. I am a fan of Jack Daniel's, however saying it out loud usually carries a stigma. Having drank my fair share of No7, I thought it was time I upped my game and bought the slightly more expensive stuff.Gentleman Jack seems a lot smoother and easier drinking than No7 (something that won't carry much weight to some people), but when I say it's easy drinking I mean just that. It really is Jack, but not. It carries the same general feel of drinking Jack Daniel's, but more refined in every way.I have enjoyed it straight and also mixed as a Whisky Sours (or Gentleman Sours as Jack Daniel's call it).

A gentleman's delight with the Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack whiskey. I'm a whiskey fan and I enjoy having a neat or on the rocks during chilly winter nights to keep warmth with some elegant flavour. This one makes it worthwhile.The Tennessee whiskey comes in 70cl, neatly, safely packed and a nice finished, polished bottle. Excellent for a direct gift to anyone.It has got that vanilla and orange taste which is easy to drink. Rich taste that lasts long. Love the taste.The one thing about the whiskey is that it's very smooth and doesn't cause inflammation due to it's double sugar maple charcoal mellowing.Could be drank neat, on the rock or with soft drinks. It's taste will just enhance.

Let me make it clear that I'm not a real fan of alcohol when it's used to get completely out of your skull. I buy this to have a small glass every couple of days. It's the perfect medicine so I can live until I'm 100 years old and get my letter from the Queen... or whichever royal is in charge by the time I'm in three figures of age, but seeing as Queen Elizabeth has a tipple as well, she'll likely be handing me that letter in around 60 years time.Anyway, it's very nice, so if you're sick of buying cheap whisky, stop, buy this instead, it's nicer and worth it. This is probably being read by an expert, well I'm not an expert in any alcoholic beverage, but I do recommend people do drink this stuff,

This would definitely be a great gift. Beautiful bottle, really well packaged. Very giftable indeed!Unfortunately it couldn't make it as a gift, because it looked way too delicious and it didn't last the whole weekend... LolWe loved the taste and the aroma. Really good quality. We liked it surved very cold without any ice.However, since I am not a regular drinker (I rarely drink alcohol ever) so unfortunately I had some issues with it the next morning (after 2x50ml). But the worst part was that alcohol activated my gout and I got really painful flare out now. I'm still a great JD fan but will know in future to be careful because for gout -no matter how good and expensive the alcohol is it could

Three and half stars really. This is a good step up from bog standard JD which is a vastly overpriced and overated drink. This is smoother and far more drinkable and is certainly more of a sippin' whiskey than its cheaper brother which is very much for use as a mixer only. What holds it back though is price. It is like all JD products at least 25% on average more expensive than the direct competition. If you see this on a shelf next to Woodford reserve which has the same kind of bottle and is available generally for the same kind of price then go for the Woodford every single time it is a superior drink by a fair margin.If you find this on offer though then give it a try.

Very classy looking bottle, and very very special tasting bourbon. I quite like a bourbon every now and again, with my favourite being Maker's Mark.I saw this in the Prime Day offers and it seemed like an excelklent opportunity to have a go at it - I'd read about it in various magazoines, and everybody seemed to rate it highly, so that plus the low price made it a no-brainer.It is a very smooth, easy-drinking, whisky with lovely caramel tones, and it's all too easy to sip, and sip, and sip, and find that you've just done 4 doubles!I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys a smooth whisky

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and my god I will most definitely be buying again.He said this was one of the best whiskies he’d ever had without a shadow of a doubtYes the price is a little steep but the packaging, bottle itself combined with the flavour and sheer quality more than make this worth the slightly steeper priceI honestly cannot fault anything, delivery was prompt and the whisky arrived with no damage at all to packaging.You will not regret buying and I will definitely be purchasing again and soon. Boyfriend’s taken to this like a fish to water

This Jack Daniel's 'Gentleman Jack' Tennessee Whiskey 70 cl bottle is very posh looking, definitely for those with very discerning tastes.It seriously would make a perfect Christmas present.I have resisted the temptation to open mine yet as I am keeping it for Christmas/New Year but I can well imagine that this will be much better than ordinary Jack Daniels. The bottle itself says it all 'Quality'.I have seen this on the high street for a lot more expense, so I would purchase while you can at such a bargain price.Recommend 100%.

Smooth on the tongue, like a warm spiced water. As it passes down your tongue to the back of the throat it becomes much more spicy and warm.Swallowing sends a rush of warmth through your throat and nose and tastes amazing.This is possibly the best whiskey I have ever had and tastes amazing straight. If you do not enjoy a very warm aftertaste I would recommend a citrus chaser however I do advise against this as it can often ruin the point of such good whiskey.

Apparently Gentleman Jack was designed to appeal to female drinkers, who felt regular black Jack was an uncouth and oafish drink. This was unnacceptable, naturally, so here we are, benefitting from a lovely smooth whiskey comes in a very attractive bottle.So here's to the image conscious Female Whiskey Drinkers of America and the marketing tosspots of JD who serve them. Because you don't have to be a gentleman to enjoy a smoother whiskey every now and then

I bought this as a present for someone last Christmas who I knew LOVED the 'normal' Jack Daniel's. They were impressed by it, as I don't think they'd even had this before. We tried it together and we both enjoyed it, as it tastes a bit smoother in a side-by-side comparison.If you're looking for a slightly more expensive gift for someone you think likes Jack Daniel's, this is a good bet. And if you like Jack Daniels yourself, this is a good gamble.

Very smooth and full of flavour. Worth buying.But I wish Amazon would deliver on the day nominated as I have to be at home to prove my age!Don't deliver a day early when I'm not at home! Update. On my second order I was at home awaiting delivery. The delivery driver insisted on my proving my age. I'm 65 for heavens sake and can buy this product from Tesco without written proof of age. This will be the last time I order this product from Amazon!

First things first... The smell! Well this one doesn't smell anything like the original JD.This version is alot less sweet yet smoother and more, I dunno, refined / purer... That's the only way I can describe it.Bottle is great and again different to its little brother, looks great in my bar / drinks collectionWould highly recommend, personally I'd recommend that this version is more enjoyed neat than with a mixer as it may 'kill' it.

This is a lot smoother than the original JD and has a different taste which I may not like JD drinkers.I am unsure this is worth extra money than the original drink, but if you can get it on a lightning deal then perhaps its ok for a casual drink or as a gift. I got this on a lightning deal so it was worth it.Gentleman jack is a drink that is easily palatable, so before you know it there may be a few drams drunk!
