After reading other reviews I bought up a size and they fit perfectly. So comfy! I have very precocious feet! Usually get blisters or sore spots or general aches/pains so was reluctant to buy anything off of internet but needs must - I was so glad! These are light on my feet, comfy underneath, warm but not hot, and not one blister or rub on a maiden 4mile walk. I did pair with some new (expensive) socks. My only v small issue was they seemed a little uncomfortable around the top of the ankle after the first mile but I stopped and loosened the laces and had no problems after that. I’ll be interested to see how long the last but I have zero complaints after first use.I think this is a shining example of ‘you get what you pay for’. In the past I’ve spent £40 and they’ve not been a patch on comfort to these. Highly recommended.

When it comes to footwear I don’t have much choice. If Hobbits ever have to wear shoes they will choose Merrell. My feet are very wide. I recently brought out a pair of Danner’s that I’d had problems with a few years back in the hope that things may have changed. They hadn’t. Great boots but there’s something about my little toe that always causes a problem. Merrell never irritate. These boots don’t have the Vibram sole that previous Merrells have had but so far they work fine. Over ankle cover is good for me since an incident a few months back which caused painful sprain.I no longer look at other makes of serious footwear because Merrell are the best.

Did a 12 km hike in the rain today , very good footing , and grip , so comfortable and fits like a glove , not rubbing or discomfort , also good price I paid was on offer for £63.01 ,a steal at this price ,only downside is that that I nearly slipped twice walking inadvertently on the metal drains on the pavements , best to avoid walking on the metal or slippery surfaces, these will be good for hiking in the mountains and rocks , I will use the vibram outsole shoes for the wet weather , will wear these on dry hikes from now , I still highly recommend them due to the incredible comfort when wearing these. Highly recommended.

Back to Merrell's for the straight out of the box comfort and quality. Previously had the Merrell All Out Blaze Mid 4 years ago. Great boot and construction. Tried some Keen boots but these had a defect so returned. Tried some Marmot which were great but cannot buy anymore. Saw the Forestbound Mid and thought these would be great for wet moors, beaches and winter in Cornwall - so far so good. Fits true to size and width was fine for my slightly wider feet. Great price and quick delivery also

Bought as a gift for my husband, although he has only worn them once he found them to be very comfortable with a good grip in extremely muddy wet conditions. His feet felt a little chilled but he was only wearing normal everyday socks, which weren’t ideal for the conditions, so probably not a fault with the boot, next time he will wear hiking socks. His feet remained dry. Overall very pleased. Arrived as expected

These boots are great. Warm : suooortive and very light weight. I went in anhuge dig walk the first day I wore them and had absolutely no issues. The only problem is you literally don’t want to take them off! I lived in them for about the first 3 weeks . Boyfriend and 2 friends have also bought them now ( Boyf bought the men’s version obvs!)

Love those boots, very comfortable...tight fit but ok for me. After a few weeks, seems like the boots stretched a little and fit better now. Very good soles, can’t wait to try them in snow and ice this winter. Don’t expect them to be very warm, but i figure that as long as walking / moving, they will keep my feet warm

I’ve been having some problems with the tendons in one foot, the podiatrist diagnosed a ganglion, the only way I could walk without pain was an old pair of merrell walking boots, but they wore out. So ordered this pair and there even more comfortable. A very very happy ?.

I have only warn these boots a couple of times since they arrived, so far so good. NOT been warn in heavy rain yet so I'll reserve judgment for the moment. Fit is very good not as some reviews stated too narrow, overall ok.

Very comfy, light, warm and waterproof. There is a little give as were a little tight but after a week wearing an hour a day for dog walks they are spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Love these boots so far, great fit support the whole foot with a little space up front, so they don't press against my toes, well made. On my experience so far I would recommend

Very soft and comfortable, not alot of support though. I've worn them in some very wet weather and when doing some patio pressure washing and my feet stayed very dry.

Comfortable straight out of the box. First walk 6.5 miles and no discomfort so very happy with the purchase during the first week of purchase.

Very comfy. As someone with wide feet I struggle sometimes to find comfort but Merrell always seem to get it right for me.
