I walked Catbells and Loughrig Fell in the Lakedistrict in these boots during a very wet October. I am shocked at how comfortable and waterproof they were! At one point, i was actually walking in a river to see if water would penetrate the shoe, the water was up to my ankles and i can honestly say my feet were dry. These boots can really take a beating. Also very comfortable - i took these out of the box and wore them for the first time on a mountain with absolutely no discomfort during or after.BUY 1 SIZE LARGER THAN YOU NORMALLY WOULD! Luckily i read reviews that suggested this so my pair fitted great. If i had bought my normal size i would have had to exchange them for a larger size.Slippery on rock surfaces.

I was recommend these boots by a friend after raving how comfortable they were and I must agree mine fit like a glove I am a size eight but as recommendations bought size 8.5 and they are perfect. I like the look of these boots and love the laces are not too long so a neater look when tied and they seem well made. We have had some very wet days so been through a fair share of large puddles and they have kept my feet toasty dry. Not a brand I am familiar but very good value for money.

Originally ordered a size 9 because that's my size; I should have read the previous reviews first because they were too small. Re-ordered a 91/2 and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable boots; I have had to use an orthotic insole with other boots but so far haven't needed to do so with these.Also brilliant turn-around service on the relacement pair from Amazon - handed over the original order to the courier on Saturday, the repacements were delivered on Monday!

Finally replaced my 5 year old Merrills, these are only the third pair in 10 years the shoes are indestructible, the only issue I have is they are not as cooling as the old chameleons.So six months down the line these have not survived very well, I did use them every day for dog walking averaging 6 km a day, and the white rubber part of the sole is parting company with the main sole, I have tried glueing it several times which lasts a couple of weeks.

These boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever had. I was a Salomon wearer but after getting these I will stick to Merrill from now on. Tgey are very roomy in the toe box which is good if you have wider feet, they are also very flexible & comfortable. Buy with confidence and always remember to buy a half size bigger than you normally wear. Just to add they look stylish too.

Ordered a 9.5 as I have wider feet. (Sure they just send a 9) lovely comfy pair of boots. Worn for 12-13 hours at a time and still comfy.I wear thinner socks which is fine as I have wider feet. If wearing for walking in winter I may suggest going up a size if like me you have pasties instead of feet.

Comfort Plus++++ Great soul for walking and/or flat pedal MTB. Haven't slept in them yet but otherwise they are ON ! Cool looking (reminds me of shark gills) but its the support & fit which are typically Merrell. Love 'em ! Want a second pair !

The reason I keep on buying Merrell is that they fit my feet perfectly, both in size and shape. Haven't worn them out in any adverse conditions as yet but am sure they will be as good as all the other pairs I have had in the past.

The new shape and design are built around comfort and durability. The shoe fits perfectly and feels very supportive. I've been using the Chameleon models since its first generation and found it perfect for the activities I do.

Appear to be watertight, (walked through 2" of water). Easy to get on and off, very comfortable, look brilliant. At the moment I cannot fault them - bear in mind only been an owner for 2 weeks at time of this review.

Merrells rock. This shoe rocks and so far they are handling the hard streets with over 200KM thus far.A touch tight on my right ankle, but that's my fault for breaking a bone in there years ago.

Very good product for its price. Very good grip on the ground. I even walked on the snowy, rocky and wet tracks. An advice. You have to take a size larger to be comfortable with a good sock.

too tight on the top of the shoe! And too hot in shoes They are made more for cold Climate Everything else is perfect good product good quality

I am glad that I have enough size for my big feet. It is safe to receive cheap products without mistakes. I want to use it again and again.

Excellent comfort and design; just be sure to order a size larger than your normal footwear size, due to the amount of padding.
