These shoes run really tight, even compared to other Merrell shoes. I have Merrell Jungle Mocs in a UK 9 that fit perfectly, but I had to send the size 9s of these back, and get 9.5s. Tbh, even those feel a little tighter than is comfortable, but I'm going to assume there'll be a bit more give after a few days wear. I think the problem is the plastic/rubber toecaps, which feel a bit restrictive. They do seem good quality and rugged though, as all Merrells are.

These hiking shoes are excellent. Very comfy and true to size, particularly good if you have wide feet. They also look good and are not too heavy and clumsy so feel as good around town with jeans as they do on a country hike. They say they are waterproof but only time will tell. As they are low cut I would still recommend a boot for a muddy walk or mountain terrain.

Replaced a pair of 5 year old walking boots that had worn through the sole - I walk at least 3 miles on footpath/ bridleway 6 days a week, some days up to 7 miles. Very comfortable and supportive - it hasn't been really wet so can't comment on whether they are also good in heavy rain.

Shoes not lasting very well. One lace has already worn out and broke after only 10 weeks daily use.One shoe has also developed an annoying squeaky noise when walking.Water proofing is good. Comfort is good. But I don't think they're built to last. Disappointing.

Shoe is good quality and supports my feet well. However, after a few days I feel it could have been slightly larger. Its not terrible but my toes feel slightly pinched. I wear UK size 8 for all my other footwear with no issue. Buy next size up.

These are my go to hikers, now my fifth pair of Merrell Chamelon's. No break in time, wear out of the box for any given task. They last, have had each pair over two years each and this is with daily wear, light hiking and much work on land.

It's hard to find shoes that fit my feet comfortably and provide the support I need. Merrell's Chameleon shoe does both. Sad to say, they are getting hard to find, so I grab them up whenever I see them.

Comfy to wear straight from the box very snug fit so could have had half a size larger but still feel comfortable can't say much about the waterproofness as not worn them in wet conditions as yet

Best everyday shoes I’ve owned. Great for hiking or everyday. Super comfortable and stable. Traction is exactly what is needed know-matter what you’re doing. Definitely recommend.

Best hiking boots I have ever brought extremely comfortable and come in half sizes which is a massive plus hence the Comfortable quote.Also you seem guild along when out walking

Just what I wanted at a good price - I have found Merrell fit me well in a size 7 and will ocntinue to buy - I have small, quite wide feet with a higher instep than some.

Bought a pair a few years ago, been looking for new ones ever since, they are excellent well fitting extremely comfortable. I know where to get them now so won't panic.

Needed some hikers for a trip to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge KY. These held up great and were as comfortable as any shoe I've ever worn. Highly recommended.

Decent shoes. Use them daily on stone terrain and the treads have not started to degrade yet or show any sign of wear.

I had to return the size 8's, because they were too large, and then reorder size 7-1/2, which fits perfect!
