Looks amazing in my kitchen goes well with my other swan products I love the bright red colour and easy to see water level very quick to boil .This review is more to highlight the brilliant no quibble service from Amazon this kettle although looks lovely only lasted four months I spoke to a lovely lady from customer service she said send it back and we will send you out a new one the new one came within days I cannot praise this company Amazon enough thank you and to all the hard-working staff and delivery drivers first-class service.As for the swan retro kettle hopefully this one will at least last over a year maybe I was just unlucky the first one must have been fauty time will tell

I really like this kettle. I took ages choosing one and was worried about the negative comments about this kettle but so far (several weeks later) have had no trouble at all. It is a lovely design, light and pours easily. It is also easy to fill and has a decent metal limescale filter. Looks as good as the day I opened it. The lid fits tightly but is also easy to remove and is easy to fill either through the top or the spout with an easy to see water gauge. Love the way it pours and it is comfortable to use. The only downside for me is that it is slightly noisy but the good bits far outweigh that. Glad I bought it.

its a kettle and it heats cold water till it reaches 100 degrees centigrade. And on top of this it has a handle so you can lift it and pour the boiling water into mugs, cups, or maybe cafetierres or tea pots. It produces sound as it heats the water, as all kettles inevitably do, and although it is louder than a cat walking across your worktop, it's not as loud as a motorbike racing through your kitchen. There is the potential for loss of skin and blistering injury if you were to pour the contents of the kettle all over your hand, arm, leg, or genitalia, and its worrying the manufacturers don't warn of this hazard.

We have just bought this kettle and are basically pleased with it. However other feedback commented on the risk of steam escaping round the on/off switch. Other feedback dismissed this. However this morning I experienced this steam issue even though the kettle was only filled to the minimum mark. I have inspected the empty kettle and can find no obvious way that steam can escape, other than from or via the thermostat tube, which has places from where steam might escape. I shall keep the kettle and just be sure to hold the top of the handle.

the 5* are for Amazon the product 3/4* maybe.our original order we were a little disappointed with the quality of this kettle it quickly failed (couple of months) the on off switch did not operate correctly. Contacted Amazon and a replacement was received the following day a returns label the same day.Replacement kettle seems better quality?? if this one lasts only a few months then it seems very simple to get a replacment. Might never need to pay for a new kettle ever again LOL

We seem to go through kettles at an alarming rate, but this one seems to have the staying power.Slight prob is make sure you don't remove the lid with hot water inside or you could scald your hand. Fill from the spout if refilling when hot. I think it metions this in the instructions & most ketles were this design back in the days.Otherwise it looks great & looking forward to a long time together.

Chose to match existing microwave & toaster from same range & replace the jug style kettle from the same range . The previous kettle lid was silver & this peeled off after a whle so thought we would give this model a go. it looks good, average noise, we are just hoping it will last well as already signs of it trying to go rusty at bottom of handle hence giving 4 stars not 5. Nice kettle so far..

I would give it 5* but this is the third Swan Kettle I’ve bought and the first two leaked from the water gauge . I’m hoping it’s third time lucky. I have a microwave, toaster, kettle, mug tree, kitchen roll holder and storage canisters all in the same lovely shade of blue and chrome. The whole set looks amazing in my kitchen. Fingers crossed this one doesn’t leak ?

I looked at previous reviews and nearly didn't buy this kettle, but as it was so cheap and there is a limited number of Orange kettles out there that I did buy it and glad i did. Very nice, stylish, not the quietest but it's a kettle !!!...does the job and looks great, no steam issues, no flaking paint etc etc.... if it lasts 12 months i will be very happy.

Wife wanted a traditionally shaped kettle so bought her this. It’s quite noisy compared with our old kettle but looks good. Only other slight quibble is how far you have to tilt to get the last of the water out. Importantly it looks how my wife wanted her kettle to look and boils water which means we can make tea which keeps wife happy if we are out of wine

I love this wee retro kettle. My kettle previously musta be the loudest one ever....super sonic!...as I don't find this one too irritating at all. It's easy to pour, colour marvellous, water level easy to read, easy to fill. An all round good egg and I was sooooo put off by the loudest kettle in the world reports! Maybe I'm deaf?

The style is good and modern - I haven't found anything 'bad' about it yet! It is easy to lift and fill and boils quickly. I have to say the kettle along with matching bread bin have brightened my kitchen and I am now looking for other items in this range to keep the flow going.

It is a quality product but the colour is not as shown on line. It's in reality just a rather chilly pale blue. not the warm slightly cornflower colour suggested onscreen. It doesn't really match but I don't have time to send it all back. And my old kettle had broken!

Lovely, matches the retro range, faster boiling than the last one, only negative is they tend to last 2 years just past guarantee which makes them expensive and I have to use my £10 bargain kettle still going after 5 years till I get the new on ?

I love the retro design and the colour ...I chose pink, but my only dislike is the lid, it isn't a flip lid, it is also more noisier when boiling the water and once its boiled, there is a clicking noise for a few seconds...
