Our local water is hard enough to chip paint, so we find ourselves buying a lot of kettles. This one is probably the most satisfying so far. It's an elegant shape, and the finish makes it feel pleasingly well-made. The switch even has a tactile action to it. It's a 3Kw element, so boils quickly and is definitely quieter than our previous kettle.We'll see how well it stands up to descaler accidentally spilled onto the outside enamel - previous kettles flaked very quickly, but it's looking good!

An excellent kettle bought to replace a previous DeLonghi kettle which had given 6 years service. The kettle is very well made & looks & feels a quality product. I had read in some reviews that the handle was uncomfortable but we have not found this to be the case. It is quick to boil & very quick to turn itself off once the water has boiled. so not wasting electricity. The only downsides we found is it is a little noisy & the water gauge is difficult to read but these are just niggles for us.

The kettle has a unique shape and design, which is contemporary and smart. The colour is great . The cordless plug is goodd, it can be extended by simply unwinding from under the Base where it's stored neatly, it's not too heavy when full with water which is fantastic.There is a max filling line inside the kettle which is useful, the only issue I have is can't see the marker on the outside as it's hidden under the handle and its a little noiser than others, but apart from that it's great kettle!

Received this product through Argos Testers. I already have a black model of this kettle so didn't expect any surprises. But surprised to find the removable filter -never realised it had this. A very useful feature, but was very fiddly to remove/replace, it took several attempts. Colour is perhaps limiting depending on your colour scheme but its a very inoffensive pastel shade of green. Not keen on the finish of the kettle, it being rather rough as against the smooth finish of my other DeLonghi.

You get about 4 large cups per full kettle, The water marker isn’t easy to see. It’s underneath the handle and no floating marker. It boils quickly so no waiting round, and looks great, it’s a ‘matt’ finish on the outside, so no finger marks or impossible, never ending polishing. Kettle swivels so can be used by right or left handed users.There is a limescale filter which is small and hard to take off to clean. Kettle switches off when water has boiled or when the kettle is removed from base.

Very happy with this De'Longhi kettle. Quick to boil, not at all noisy in comparison to some. Having to remove the small cone lid to add water, but this is not really a problem. Some other designs of kettle allow filling through the spout. Because of its elegant shape, the filling spout is narrow, but it does pour very well. Water level is a little difficult to see in window behind the handle, but again the design shape dictates this. Overall very pleased with form and function of this kettle.

Beautiful colour with a rough finish-makes it unique-no stains or marks left behind-looks expensive-light in weight Boils fast ad soft-low sound of boiling water-easy clip out filter-big and well placed max water level indicatorSize is perfect-smooth and rough finishes-Duckegg colour-big on and off push down lever to boil-space saver, as its oval shaped-Lovely big handleI would definitely recommend this product.Sets are availible in toaster and perculator.

Kettle really boils fast and no where near the same steam coming out as our last kettleThe only thing with it is the water level window is white so it is very hard to see what the level is without picking the kettle up and looking closelySlightly louder than last kettle but as it boils faster, I can live with thisOnly thing ive found is the silver insert on the handle isn't fitting totally flush so you can feel the edge of the insert on the left side of the handle,great limescale filter

Chose this kettle for the colour and previous reviews. I agree with some reviews about the hard to see water level. It says fill through the spout but you have to have your tap at a trickle or water just spills over the top, so I just take the lid off to fill it. It would have been nice to have a one cup marker level, but this does not put me off the kettle. It boils quite quick and is pretty quiet too. Other than the issues above, I am totally happy with my kettle ad would highly recommend.

We looked at all the reviews including the negative reviews for this kettle before we purchased one. At first the negative reviews put us off but we decided to buy one anyway. We’re glad we did. It’s a great colour and matches our kitchen exactly. Yes it is a bit noisy, but what kettle isn’t. Also the water level is a little difficult to see, but it is very visible. Anyway, we are glad we bought it and would recommend to friends and family. Thanks also to Argos for a great delivery service!

I bought a similar Russell Hobbs kettle, and when I tried to wipe it clean, it took the paint off. So after a year it was embarrassing to make tea! I purchased this in the sale, and it looks so much better than my previous kettle. When cleaning it, it wipes clean. Its very stylish, and have had many people comment on it. Its fast boil, and relatively Quiet. A fast boil kettles are pretty much of a muchness, it's reliable, fast and looks great. So I'm happy. Oh and it makes a lovely cuppa! X

This kettle boils in just over 3 minutes when full to the max. The minimum fill is for over 2 mugs so not very energy efficient if making tea for one. The boil is quite loud so you know when it is done. For me personally I found the kettle heavy and a little awkward to use because of disability. If you have arthritis I would consider a smaller kettle before buying this one.Had to boil it 3 times to get rid of the new metallic taste but makes a great tasting cup of tea and looks lovely.

The blue is very modern and the side handle is ergonomically designed for ease of pouring. It boils rapidly but as with all modern kettles is noisy - this doesn’t bother me personally. The lid needs a little effort to get on/off but I have got used to it. The water level window is not the easiest to see - it could have done with a floating marker as with previous kettles I have owned. The limescale filter is the biggest headache. You have to use force to remove/replace it-easily broken.

I bought both this and the matching toaster since they were half price (I have reviewed the toaster too). The kettle is quite retro and does look stylish - though it is basically 'a kettle'. I wouldn't have paid the full price for it, and actually think it's a bit over-priced, even at the sale price, but to have matching items, you sometimes have to sacrifice something - in this case the value/cost. I am pleased with it though and both items look nice against my cream kitchen units.

DēLonghi have yet again made a lovely stylish kettle that doesn't cost the earth! 1.5 litres which is more than enough for making a round of hot drinks. Boils fast so no waiting around to make drinks. It is a lovely pale green so goes with most other colours (I can be pretty fussy with colours for my kitchen and this is lovely). It is a Matt finish so you are not constantly doping finger marks! Polished chrome style metal only for the lid, spout and a bit on the handle. Great Kettle!
