I had bought a couple of cheaper kettles in the past and this time I wanted to buy one a little more expensive that I hope would last longer. I did read the reviews on this kettle and was happy to buy it based on what I read, both on Argos and other sites. I have a new build house and have gone very modern in my kitchen so this looks great. Boils really quickly. Haven't used the different temperature options yet, not really sure if I will, but time will tell. The "bleep" gets a bit annoying after a while (not sure really why its needed to be honest) and unfortunately my family members sat in the lounge can hear the bleep when I turn it on and shout "make us a cup of tea too"!

I was hoping to submit either a photo or a video, but unfortunately my phone hasn't been returned to me after repairs.But saying that, this kettle is everything that I wanted. The large capacity-1.5 L, it doesn't drip or dribble when and after you pour, this was always a problem with my other kettles!!Even though it is a large kettle compared to some, I find it easier to lift and use. It has a built in filter and also the plate it sits on is larger, but I don't find that a problem. It has a built in keep warm function that I find very useful. Also it has 4 different heating levels 70-80-90-and 100 degrees! which I find is so useful.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.I love this kettle, it is sleek and stylish and looks great with our existing appliances. It is definitely built to last and the functions are amazing. We love changing the temperature when needed and the keep warm function is so handy for when we have guests arriving at different times, my partner even kept it warm when he left so it was ready for me returning from work, great feature.The handle has great grip and it is really light, the lid is a brilliant push button opening which means less chance of spills etc.I love being able to see how many cups of water is in there along with traditional measurements,

Submitted as part of a review panel.We have had this kettle three weeks now( see my reviews on youtube and Bosch Facebook). The overall appearance is neat and slightly retro. It is not too flamboyant so I think it will fit nicely into the decor for a long time to come. The kettle has a few useful features which make it stand out from other kettles - for example one cup only measure to save time and energy. It has four temp. settings which mean water can be heated accurately for adding to dough when bread making, warming baby food or warm drinks for children. Instant coffee is better with water that is not boiled too. The cable tidy keeps the appearance neat and is safer.

I purchased this product based on the Which report, but I wasn't deterred by the beeping sound it made switching on and off. It's a very nice looking, drip free, well balanced and easy to use product. I have had this a little over two years and up to recently had no problems.But of late there seems to be a problem with the base, you switch it on and it turns itself off immediately? After several attempts of lifting the kettle and making sure there were no obstructions, I finally unplugged it, just in case there was some kind of firmware installed! Replugged it in, switched on and it heats up as normal. The first time this happened it was amusing and baffling at the same time. But it happened again today,

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.The kettle looks very smart and the white matches nicely with our espresso machine.Being able to select the temperature of the water required is a very nice feature as we tend to make our coffee at 90 degrees (we've read this the best temperature to use for coffee). I can't see any way that a specific temperature could be set as the default, though changing it is very simple- after pressing the power button you select the up and down button until the temperature required is selected.Once boiled the kettle emits a loud beep, ideal if you wish to watch TV while waiting and the keep warm function works well keeping the water at the set temperature for

I would have given this kettle 5 stars, but for the beep. Pros Good design; handy keep warm feature; can set to heat to 70/80/90 C; push button lid opens wide; accurate spout; Cons Handle may not to be everyone's taste. Beep.... is infuriating (well, IMHO and a number of others around the internet at least). It beeps when you turn it on (why on earth someone thought that would be useful...) and beeps when it reaches the right temperature (more useful). This is not your usual beep however - think of the beep you hear when you walk into a lift and break the invisible beam - a whiney, high pitched beep that really grates on some people.

I have been looking for ages to buy a kettle that can boil water to different temperatures but have not found many on the market that can do this, I thought this was odd as everyone is supposed to be saving energy! Then whilst browsing the internet I found the Bosch Skyline TWK8631GB Kettle so purchased one quickly. I must say that the Bosch Skyline TWK8631GB Kettle is absolutely fantastic, its build quality surpasses every other brand I have previously owned and its also very stylish, it even bleeps when the water is boiled! And more importantly it boils water to 70, 80, 90 and 100 degree's which allows me to have my drinks at the right temperature as well as saving £££s on my electric bill.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.I have been using this kettle several times a day and I can safely say that it's the best kettle I have ever used. While I used to scold my hand inadvertently on my old stainless steel kettle, this one remains cool to the touch even after boiling several times in a row. The "keep warm" feature is brilliant if you know you are going to be needing more boiling water within the next half hour. The different temperature settings are really good if you like your drink to be hot but not scolding. It looks smart, doesn't take much room, boils quickly and holds a decent amount of water. It is very easy to fill up thanks to the pop up top.

This kettle is the best ever. I drink green tea whilst my husband drinks regular tea and instant coffee. How did we ever manage without temperature control? It's really handy having the Beep at the start so you know you have started it correctly. And the keep warm option is fabulous. Amother Beep reminds me that the 30 mins is up if I have become engrossed in another part of the house. It's not too loud but my husband finds it annoying.....must be a man thing. When I internet searched the Temp Control kettles before buying it was mostly men who didn't like the Beeps. Being able to drink my tea without scalding my mouth or waiting for it to cool down is liberating. And no more bitterness.

This blends in so well with my other stylish kitchen equipment. The plastic casing is good I feel safer letting my older children use the kettle. The different temp feature is good although I was a bit disappointed that the instruction booklet didn't give more info on what temp to use for what drink. Also I haven't yet worked out how the keep warm feature works as when I start the boil, as soon as I lift the kettle from the basel the keep warm button goes out. So far I'm very pleasedwith product. The water level window is under the handle but is nice & wide and easily visible. The lid is a push up and you refil from the top not the spout.

This kettle is of reasonable quality and easy to clean as the whole lid opens up. Would be better if you could open the lid with one hand to pour water in. Noise it makes is slightly irritating as is the beep which sounds as it heats/boils but the ability to set temperature of water and the keep-warm facility is very good. Other minor irritation is that water guage is under the handle, so might not be easy for some people to read. Otherwise, so far so good - it is very expensive though and I'm not sure it's that much better than some of the cheaper kettles.

Looking for a replacement kettle as mine started to leak. Had no idea Bosch made kettles but I'm so glad they do! This is, without doubt, the best kettle I have ever used. I simply cannot find a single fault with the use, features and economy. The style is great and looks good in any kitchen. I do prefer the white model over the black; I find shiny black kitchen appliances look a bit cheap but obviously it's just my preference and not a comment about the kettle itself. I'm gradually getting a collection of Bosch appliances and they've never let me down.

Despite having some concerns about other reviews we read before the purchase, so far we are completely delighted with this kettle. Quick to boil and switch off, and the temperature settings are great for making a drink which doesn't need boiling water or one you want to drink quite quickly. Maintains temperature well so you don;t have to reboil if you have been distracted doing other things in the kitchen for a minute or two. The beep when it boils is handy, though why it beeps when you switch it on remains a total mystery!

Great looking kettle and great features. The temperature selection is brilliant, tea tastes so much better when you don’t boil the water at 100 degrees. The viewing window is very clear so you can see exactly how much water you need when filling from the tap, helping to reduce electricity usage from boiling unnecessary amounts. It’s not the quietest or the quickest but I’m very pleased with my purchase.returned the first one as it leaked from the bottom of the jug. It was swapped with no fuss.
