I purchased my original kettle back in November and was extremely pleased with everything about it, the beep it makes when you press to boil and when it has finished boiling is just a low audible sound and certainly not the loud noise reported by some users. The kettle boiled quickly and the choice of three temperatures and stay warm facility is very handy. Unfortunately after just three months the kettle suddenly went extremely noisy to the extent it sounded like it was going to blow up. Replaced with the identical kettle because I had purchased the matching toaster when purchasing the original kettle back in November.

I had bought a couple of cheaper kettles in the past and this time I wanted to buy one a little more expensive that I hope would last longer. I did read the reviews on this kettle and was happy to buy it based on what I read, both on Argos and other sites. I have a new build house and have gone very modern in my kitchen so this looks great. Boils really quickly. Haven't used the different temperature options yet, not really sure if I will, but time will tell. The "bleep" gets a bit annoying after a while (not sure really why its needed to be honest) and unfortunately my family members sat in the lounge can hear the bleep when I turn it on and shout "make us a cup of tea too"!

Meet my handsome Bosch kettle - isn't he a cutie. We've been together for over five years but we are committed to a much longer relationship and he is in tip-top condition. He's pretty quick to come to the boil but, if I press the right buttons, I can keep him off the simmer. He is such a well turned out guy that it is really easy to keep him smart and clean and I love his safety features.Every relationship has its little niggles and if I could give him one present it would be a silence button so that we didn't disturb anyone when we have a clandestine meeting. However, his buzzer does mean that I never neglect him when he is ready.We are in this for the long haul.

This kettle has been my life saver! It is the only one that has lasted the course.I have owned this now for near on 2 years and without issue.The best feature for me is being able to set the water temperature to your requirments, so if like me you add a dash of cold water to your cuppa to allow you to drink instantly you no longer need to do this.You can also benefit from the keep warm function that allows the selected temperature to last for up to 30 minutes.The kettle beeps when boiled so no need to stand and wait for that click.This kettle has had a phenomenal amount of use and is still going strong, you will not be dissapointed if you make that leap and purchase one for your own home.Highly Recommended.

This kettle is quite a beast! It is quite large - dwarfed my old one. It may be insulated in some way. Having said that looks really smart and the square base makes it quite compact. Takes some getting used to because the controls are on the base, it beeps when you switch it on, lift it off and when it boils. The temperatures light up as it reaches them up to 100. It switches off when you pick it up, so if warming the tea pot you have to switch it back on again to boil. Boils really fast, so has a bit of noise as it gets going. I don't have a problem with the gauge being under the handle - it is easy enough to see and easy to only boil what you need. I am pleased with it.

This kettle is the best ever. I drink green tea whilst my husband drinks regular tea and instant coffee. How did we ever manage without temperature control? It's really handy having the Beep at the start so you know you have started it correctly. And the keep warm option is fabulous. Amother Beep reminds me that the 30 mins is up if I have become engrossed in another part of the house. It's not too loud but my husband finds it annoying.....must be a man thing. When I internet searched the Temp Control kettles before buying it was mostly men who didn't like the Beeps. Being able to drink my tea without scalding my mouth or waiting for it to cool down is liberating. And no more bitterness.

This blends in so well with my other stylish kitchen equipment. The plastic casing is good I feel safer letting my older children use the kettle. The different temp feature is good although I was a bit disappointed that the instruction booklet didn't give more info on what temp to use for what drink. Also I haven't yet worked out how the keep warm feature works as when I start the boil, as soon as I lift the kettle from the basel the keep warm button goes out. So far I'm very pleasedwith product. The water level window is under the handle but is nice & wide and easily visible. The lid is a push up and you refil from the top not the spout.

So glad I opted to spend a little more for this kettle. It looks amazing in the kitchen and it gets a lot of compliments. As for boiling, it's fast and not too noisy. It beeps once to tell you it's done - it's loud enough to hear almost everywhere in the house, but not annoying. I love the options for different temperatures, as I often drink Japanese sencha tea which is best brewed at 80 degrees. I almost never use the keep warm function, but it's nice that it's there. The inside of the kettle is minimalist, and I've found it produces less limescale than my previous Bosch kettle. Bear in mind is slightly heavier than most kettles.

I have just replaced my previous kettle, same model, which failed after around 6 years of continuous use. After using an old kettle for a few days I was longing for my familiar Bosch Styline and decided to purchase again. It is functional, comfortable to hold and easy to use, safe, as the body does not heat up outwardly, and pours easily. The beep when temperature is reached is very useful and it is fast boiling and relatively quiet. Although quite expensive, this is reflected in the build quality and the extra features (variable heating temperatures when hot but not boiling water is required.)

I bought this kettle yesterday and so far, so good. The black & stainless steel two-tone finish is stylish and although it is a little bit heavy, it feels sturdy & well-made. However, it is much bigger than it looks on line & is not as quiet as I had hoped but it does boil rapidly so the noise only lasts a short time. The beep when the temperature has been reached is helpful. Design-wise - the handle is positioned directly opposite the water level indicator, so it is not very easy to see. Other kettles I've owned had the water level indicator at the front, which seems more logical.

Bought as we drink a lot of fruit teas - peppermint etc. & using boiling water really looses the taste. Even if you wait for it to cool down. We experimented to see which teas taste best at various temperatures, & now hardly ever boil water. Now our 'tea' really tastes as it should. The keep warm facility is really helpful, but I could really use a remove tea bag alarm too! Very easy to wipe down & still looks great several months later it did appear to stop working once, but I wiped the connection of the kettle & base with a dry cloth & its been fine since.

This kettle is of reasonable quality and easy to clean as the whole lid opens up. Would be better if you could open the lid with one hand to pour water in. Noise it makes is slightly irritating as is the beep which sounds as it heats/boils but the ability to set temperature of water and the keep-warm facility is very good. Other minor irritation is that water guage is under the handle, so might not be easy for some people to read. Otherwise, so far so good - it is very expensive though and I'm not sure it's that much better than some of the cheaper kettles.

I really love this kettle. Being able to choose the temperature of the water is excellent. However, Bosch please please please PLEASE listen to your customers feedback...the beep when the kettle switches on/off is very loud and irritating. It is bad at the best of times, but as our bedroom is right next to our kitchen it means the end of a long lie for which ever one of us is still in bed whilst the other is trying to quietly make a cup of tea in the morning! Please fix this as it spoils what is otherwise an excellent, market leading product.

This kettle is stylish and boils the water quickly. It's great for selecting different water temperatures for various drinks. It has a keep warm function. The cool touch housing is good. I haven't found it leaking from the bottom (yet), but the lid opening mechanism broke after a couple of days, hence only four stars. A replacement was with me just over a week after returning the faulty kettle. The returns procedure could be better as not having a kettle for over a week is not ideal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Despite having some concerns about other reviews we read before the purchase, so far we are completely delighted with this kettle. Quick to boil and switch off, and the temperature settings are great for making a drink which doesn't need boiling water or one you want to drink quite quickly. Maintains temperature well so you don;t have to reboil if you have been distracted doing other things in the kitchen for a minute or two. The beep when it boils is handy, though why it beeps when you switch it on remains a total mystery!
