I liked the design with a broad base and narrow top. It will take up a little bit of extra inches but gives you a very stable kettle which you will not knock over accidentally. It boiled its max 1.7l in three and a half minutes, so if you are doing a couple of cups of tea you will be ready in just over a minute which I also like very much. And it pours brilliantly, with no dribble from spout or lid. A small thing, but how many kettles do not pour well, quite a few so this is something of an exception. I have been using jug kettles for more years than I can remember and this one, although this is also a jug, it has a much wider base than most. For those of us old enough to have grown up with the old metal kettles that go on the hob with a whistle to let you know when it has boiled, it’s about as wide as that. I actually find it easier to pick up without it wobbling about, lessening the risk of hot water spilling.It boils really quickly as well. I have my my breakfast routine down to a tee (tea?) and now I find it boils quicker than my old kettle so I need to readjust the routine to suit.Please note that although the description says that it is stainless steel, it is not.

A review for Swan SK31050BN, Symphony 1.7 Litre Jug Kettle with 360 Degree Rotational Base, 3000 Watts, Black, Stainless Steel.A well built very striking looking good capacity rapid boil kettle. The two tone design is striking however will not be to everybody's taste. The good 1.7 litre capacity coupled with the 3 kW rapid boil means the water is boiled quickly. The external measuring gauge which marked off in number of cups which for me more useful. The on / off switch is smooth and responsive and illuminates to indicate its on. The heating element is of the concealed type so no nasty scaling if the the heating element if you live in hard water areas. The lid needs to be completely detached for filling rather than a flip top lid,

This is a stylish looking kettle. The photos do a good in conveying just how good this looks. I have sued it for around a month now and it working just as good now as when I first tried it.In use this is pretty much a standard kettle which I imagine virtually everyone reading this would be used. It is quite durable and there were pouring or leaking issues.

Nice looking kettle, light weight. Boils fairly fast. Only downside initially was that our drinks were tainted first thing in the morning. You have to empty the water out if any left standing over night which is not very eco friendly. Probably due to it having a plastic body.

Nice looking kettle and a bit different. Only problem as such is if your hand is the slightest bit damp I found when you pick up the kettle it could slip. Solution - make sure your hands are thoroughly dried!

I like to boil a full kettle and as this does not hold as much water as my last kettle, it will save me money. Apart from that, I do like the shape and the look.

Love the look of the kettle, it’s a little noisy when boiling compared to my old one but nether the less it’s quick at boiling water and looks super smart

First one we ordered Leaked everywhere. Returned for a refund.Thankfully I gave it another chance and ordered another, it’s great. Really happy with it

We love this product. Easy to use, lightweight, yet very well made. Boils quickly and pours well. This has replaced a £75 kettle and it wins hands down.

Stylish looking kettle that does the job. Be careful not to hold the handle too low as steam leaks out of the switch!

Bought this to replace ours and that was massive compared to this! Fits nicely in corner and a lot easier to hold

Very light even when full (some sort of magic maybe..). It definitely is a very quick boil and looks very nice.
