Bought the Dark as the excellent Stiggins Pineapple version was out of stock and have been WOWED by it. A true delight either with a splash of tepid water to let it release the depth of flavour or with cola as a long drink if preferred this is now top 3 of all drinks in our array. Wonderfully scented, delicate, layered, rich and moreish. Half the price of Stiggins and absolutely superb. I’ve never been a rum fan: this converted both my wife and I to an affordable luxury of sheer delight-an “oh yeah” moment every time we open the bottle at pence (per glass) more than mainstream spirits. WONDERFUL!

Plantation rums are always solid and even though this is one of their lowest priced offerings it's so far above most rums at this price point it's silly. Great depth of flavour, think richly caramelised bananas with a long finish on a lightly bitter creme brulee like burnt sugar note. Great for sipping or mixing. Plantation Original Dark is a double aged mix of rums from Barbados and Jamaica, so the Trinidad in Amazon's title is incorrect. Plantation Trinidad is a different rum completely.

This Rum quite simply has no right to be as delicious as it is and still be £23 a bottle.Not as sweet as diplomatico but with just as much flavour and still pleasantly sweeter than your standard dark rum. This makes it rich and smooth and perfect neat or, at this price, as a mixer as well.

Delicious rum. Probably the only one I could drink straight. My issue is the price, the odd time I can get a lire of cpt Morgan for 18 quid but this I suppose is a more premium rum. I don't know. I've tried quite a few and this one stands out.

This rum is so smooth and delicious!!On its own, slightly chilled with crushed ice works every time for me!!Nice depth of flavour...Yup ?Very satisfying, daily tot aaahhjust stretches my budget a wee bit ..But .....,?

I love this rum, it's my favourite in this price range. Note - it used to be a blend of Barbados and Jamaican rum, but is now Trinidad and Jamaican. I like it best with ginger ale, but it's great any which way, IMHO.

The best rum I’ve tasted ever, me and hubby love this so much. It’s not as expensive as some it’s mid range but packs a lot of flavour. Have this to a fellow rum drinker for her birthday and she loved it

Absolutely delicious Rum at a reasonable price. Hints of Pineapple, vanilla and chocolate. I sip this neat, no need for a mixer, this is quality stuff.

Great tasting rum! I have brought a couple bottles of this over the past few months and I will continue to do so. Definitely recommend to rum lovers.

This rum is by far in my Top 3 and never disappoints. It's so smooth with the right mix of flavours to tells you it's a premium brand by far.

Love it. I like the full bodied, sweet flavoured molasses based rums and this is one of the best i have tasted.

This rum is great. Ginger beer is perfect with it. Very happy to have found such a tasty affordable rum.

Really good rum, I drink it straight without ice and it is very smooth with plenty of molasses flavour.

An amazing rum for around £20, excellent for cocktails and great for drinking neat.
