If you know Bushmill's you know it's a smooth whiskey, not complex in the way the scotch is,but smooth,so smooth I can drink a bottle without even realising it.I have done,in the past(70cl),to my liver's displeasure! I vacillate between this and Black Bush as the finest expression of this drink, depending on which I happen to be drinking at the time, but really, you can't go wrong with either. And a more "manly" drink than Jameson's for example,a little too much like perfume for my taste, although I've never met a woman who didn't enjoy Jameson's.I'll take this, and a t a great price for a litre bottle here, too.

The photo shows it all. Not on its own but in good company and taking pride of place. I was always a Scotch man until a visit years ago to NI where I was offered a Bushmills as soon as I walked into the Bar.I haven't neglected my Scotch Whiskeys but when you have the opportunity to take advantage of one of Amazon's Daily Deals at a great price, who can resist that tipple that is so smooth - and who can say it better than the supplier "Palate: Gently warming, mouth-coating texture. A touch of honey sweetness. Finish: Crisp, fresh finish, with a touch of spice" they said it - I just poached it.Gramps

This is the second Irish whiskey I've tried recently; following on from Paddy's, and, again, I'm surprised. I have to justify this by admitting that I'm no whiskey expert or drinks snob. I try it and I either like it enough to get again or feel indifferent to its charms. Bushmills is a warmly soft whiskey, a little less heavy-hitting than Paddy's, but in terms of enjoyment, I'd easily put them neck-and-neck.As I say in my Paddy's review, I've yet to try this whiskey with some ginger wine, but a good whiskey undiluted is usually only enhanced when paired with ginger wine!Recommended.

We've tried lots of whiskeys and whiskys and bourbons. I've had the nice "sippers", the ones where "smokey taste" is like licking the floorboards after a house fire and then this little gem popped up in a Lightening Deal for under £20.Cannot describe the delight of a 1 Litre bottle and the Bushmills one is a nice solid "square" feel! The taste? You know, I was almost tempted to call it a "beginners whiskey" but that is unfair. It has a nice clean taste with almost a fizzy type hit on the tongue. Nice neat and mixed and lovely with ice.

As a young Irish man I tend to take the odd wee whiskey and I can safely say that Bushmills is my favourite. Whether it's neat, over ice, a hot whiskey or even with ginger ale this Whiskey is top notch. And it's distilled just up the road from me (I live in Derry). And a top deal from Amazon. I've just ordered a litre bottle of Black Bush on a lightning deal for £22.00 and I can't wait to receive it! My favourite! Even compared to some extremely expensive Midletons and Jameson's, Spot etc Bushmills holds its own.

Got this on a deal of the day for St Patricks day, fantastic price. It's not single malt quality but still a pleasure to drink and much nicer than some other blended whiskies on the market. My better half loves it with ginger! - one to try :)Overall 5 star due to the fantastic value for money for an inexpensive whisky that tastes just as good to drink straight as it does in a mixer.I've had a couple whilst writing this review, hence my chirpy scrawlings :D

Bushmills has a long history of making whiskey going back to 1608 and because it is tripled distilled the whiskey is very smooth and mellow to drink neat or on the rocks.I highly recommend the seller. The product was competitvely priced representing great value, quickly dispatched and very well packaged.

I like/love most whiskies but am partial to Irish whiskies which tend to be lighter and a little more mellow. This was on special at about £20 a litre. Great value lovely tasting blend whisky. As an every day tipple with a solitary ice cube this is affordable and very enjoyable.

Caught under an Amazon daily deal for £20. Ideal price for such a bottle of this size. Clean taste with full flavour, ideal for those new to Irish whisky. Certainly better than Jameson, which creates a sickly feeling after a few tots, in my opinion.

At the price I paid (£23 for a 1 litre bottle) this is incredible value. I'm really happy with the character, flavour, nose and smoothness of this whiskey and it just kind of ticks every box you'd want it to. For the price I have yet to find better.

I love Bushmills whisky. I first had this in Dublin about 20 years ago and has been a favourite ever since. It is great straight or with a dash of water. It also makes a good mixer but that would just be a waste for a good whisky.

If, like me, you've always stuck to Scotch Whiskey, give this a go. I only discovered it about a year ago on a trip to Dublin, although Bushmills is from the North. Beautifully smooth full flavored Irish whiskey. Love it

I've been drinking this whiskey for more than fifty years and never fail to be amazed at how it continues to stand head and shoulders above all else. Having a litre bottle simply adds to the experience.
