If you like glenlivet founders reserve or pendryn, you will love this! The main difference is the alcohol bite. Glenmorangie is incredibly smooth and well made. I have other whisky which is aged 15,18 years and they are not as smooth as this lovely 10 year Glenmorangie. It's a really sweet and fruity whisky. The fruits I can taste in this whisky are the apricots, oranges, nectarines and lemon. I can also taste honey and the hint of vanilla. The combination is perfect and makes a really lovely floral whisky.I would also highly recommend grabbing a bottle of The limited edition mid winter dram before shops run out and the price goes up drastically. The mid winter dram gave me tastes with cranberrys, bitter oranges and brown sugar. Makes a really nice edition and gives the whisky a sugary sweet taste with cranberries.

I'll admit, I am new to the world of whisky so am no expert. However as I am maturing I find that my taste in drinks is maturing also - no longer do I like the sweet, youthful "party" drinks. I find myself after a tipple of something such as rum or whisky.I saw this on lightning deal so gave it a whirl: as far as I can tell it is good stuff. Better than the standard fare you would find in supermarkets, and more sophisticated by a long shot. It's fairly strong but with a good hint of other flavours behind, so a bit more "complex". Poured over ice it makes a nice refreshing drink at the end of the day, and the price is not bad either.

LikesThus is The best flavour of a malt for me my all time favourite whiskyThis is a excellent priceNice gift box it’s actually the normal box it comesGood safe deliveryDislikesAgain doesn’t last very longAdviceKeep away from other drinkers as there greedy and always want some morePut it in a nice whisky glass it deserves with either a tiny amount of water (to help release the oils)Or dare I say it an ice cube!!!there I’ve said it!!Or traditionally neat smell it firstDon’t drink too much at once or you will get a bad head and get shouted at by the missus for having a hangover whilst shopping the following day

I am by no means a connoisseur of whisky, so I may not be able to properly describe this whisky to do it proper justice. I favour Islay single malts, but was given a bottle of this as a gift. This isn't one I would normally buy, but I do like it. It doesn't seem to have the harsh throaty rasp that some cheaper brands have.I found it to be soft and fruity with a nicely rounded finish. I take all mine straight with no ice, so the flavour may be different if drunk otherwise. It is a bit of a contrast to the smokey Islay malts I normally go for, but a definite pleasant change and one I will try again.

I Haven't had this whiskey for few years but must confess to being a big lover of single malt whiskies, where I have quite a few in my collection. With this in mind I thought I would give it a go again and I must say that it is absolutely delicious, light with a good touch of complexity with (very much to me) a citrus note accompanied by vanilla. it is definitely one that I would buy again and keeping my collection because it offers good value for money and and even though it is one of the biggest sellers in the world of whisky it still proves that it has a uniqueness to it.

Gelnmorangie is an excellent starter whisky - neither heavily peated (smoky) or sherried (sweet), Glenmorangie has plenty of interesting citrus flavours in the mouth, and is a very smooth sipping whisky best enjoyed neat. I don't find adding water or ice adds anything in particular. When available around the £25 mark it is hard to do much better at this price point. Also has one of the nicest boxes and bottles in this price region too, making it an excellent gift for those starting out in Scotch or for the seasoned Whisky lover without breaking the bank.

Scotland's best selling single malt and has been for many many years. A very soft and mellow dram, seductively soft. For me personally I prefer a single malt with a more robust taste, I think, I say I think as this malt is wonderful. Vanilla, cinnamon, apples and peaches all marry together to become a wonderful easy drinking liquor. You could drink this malt any time of day. In no way is this a robust whisky but most certainly is an enchanting and elegant infusion of tastes and aromas. Truly delightful.

Glenmorangie 10 YO is a good introduction to single malts if you have never tried them. The barrels it's aged in are American oak giving fruity and vanilla aromas and it is soft on the palate when compared to many blended whiskies. It is an ideal Christmas present or Christmas addition to the household "bar". It is currently £1-00 less than in Tesco, including delivery. An ideal drink for the Queen's Christmas speech or any other occasion.

Glenorangie 10 Years Old. What more is there to say? My fave tipple by a long mile. You'll have read all the tasting notes elsewhere in the reviews and I'm not clever enough to add anything extra of worth. Except to say ... Bottle isn't big enough. And sadly, Wallet isn't big enough to buy the 18 year old. Never mind. Let's place another order for the 10 year old when this one runs out in a couple of weeks time.

On the nose this scotch invigorates the sinuses with meandering lemon notes with a werthers original kick. Upon the sip, hints of a roaring fire breath life into your mouth but is quickly extinguished by the gentle caress of an autumn meadow in a gentle comforting breeze. A hint of plywood lingers on the tongue as toffee whispers to your warm throat. Very easy to drink. Poetry in a bottle

Having been give a bottle of this for Mother's Day, I am reacquainting myself with this whisky, which I have had for a while. It's light in colour and light on the nose, with florals and fruit. On the palette is has pears, custard and quite a long finish, ending with a creamy caramel. This is a bit fierier than some single malts, but it is still very drinkable and a pleasant tipple.

No doubt one of best single malted whiskies. I have tried so many different ones as I worked in retail for many years where I had opportunity to taste a lot different brands. I also like to think I am connoisseur myself and of course it is matter of taste and preferences but this whisky is exceptionally well balanced...smooth, mellow, beautifull flavour and not sharp on finish.

Nice taste if you a whisky drinker . but to be honest i preferer Grouse .. better value . i think this is a bit over rated ,, i have had much better . .. but im not a connoisseur ... but might buy again if on a good offer .. has a deep taste . i prefer lighter options but a good mixer & it tones it down .. still has same affect of cheaper ones !! It sends me to sleep :)

My personal favourite.Drink neat with one teaspoon of filtered water added to the dram just before drinking to liberate the flavours.Never add ice and never add anything other than the teaspoon mention above(definitely not coke!).Savour the flavours and take a deep breath after each sip to enjoy at its best.I suggest getting one of these to help enjoy the whisky
