I've been to distillery which by the way is beautiful and i recommend it highly, the stream out back that they used to use as the water for the distillery and the highland hills nearby is unmistakably Scottish as if you could forget where you were, being on the border of the highlands makes it even more special as does the original bootleg past of the distillery (seriously visit it if you're ever in Scotland and they'll tell you all about it). The whiskey quickly became my new favourite, I've had a number of the year blends (10, 12, 14 and the 18 and the 21 year) all are excellent but for newbies I'd say have the 10 year with a little water or ice if you prefer.I enjoy it often and its not too harsh like other highland whiskeys (islay comes to mind - very smokey). I've made it clear to family and friends that should they do the generic "bottle of alcohol for christmas gift" that I'll only accept a 10 year glengoyne now. Buy on Amazon as well as it's cheaper than glengoynes website.

I’m a big fan of Speyside whisky. I prefer non peaty/smokey, and the sweet Sherry Cask.I always look for new whiskys to try and came across this beauty. It’s a lovely dram. Sweet sherry comes through and toffee. Although I definitely smell the toffee more than I taste it. It’s not as toffee flavoured as Aberlour 10 or Tamnavulin double cask. It’s a very dry, sweet whisky. Loads of flavour. I would say the Apple taste doesn’t come across as fresh apple but more of a cider apple taste. The best way for me to describe this whisky would be to compare it to similar bottles. For me I would say this is very similar to Glen Scotia Double cask (just without the salty taste Glen Scotia brings)And quitesimilar to Glenfarclas 15 (although I find Glenfarclas has a very slight peaty smoke under lying and Glenfarclas 15 has an amazing nose to it)For me this is well worth £35

Was in America for a wedding and the groom asked me to get a bottle for before the ceremony. I walked to the nearest liquor store and found their range to be quite expensive. This whiskey was the cheapest single malt they had so went for it. This went down so well. Everyone was asking which whiskey it was and where they could get a bottle. Definitely recommend.

I drink a lot of single malts including a number of 10 year olds. This is a competitive end of the market with some very good options. For me, this glengoyne is up there with the very best of them! It's completely unpeated but instead takes it's complexity from the hand selected sherry casks used during maturation. I like the natural colour as well. Top dram.

This is clearly one of the better malts.I discovered this gorgeous malt when visiting my daughter who just happens to live a 15 minute walk from the Glengoyne Distillery.A visit to said distillery led to a few samples and I was sold! It's a lovely mellow, slightly sweet non-peaty malt and I love it.Definitely a recommended tipple.

Whisky arrived safely and well packaged. The bottle was nicely presented in a box and is ideal for a gift. My husband was pleased with the gift and is enjoying drinking it. It was good to find the product supplied on Amazon as I could not find it in any of the local shops, it was also at a good price, even with the postage added.

I buy this as a present for someone every year. It's quite hard to find on the high street, and even harder to get it ordered in specially, so its a relief to find it at such a good price online, It was, rumour suggests the late Queen Mother's favourite whiskey. It is quite mild so not one for those who like plenty of peat smoke.

When I first bought this, I wasnt too sure about it. But After tasting it I realised that this had quite a distinct flavour profile which wasnt like your usual bourbon or speyside scotch! Its malty, has sweet caster sugar taste with aromas of barley and fruit. A well made whiskey for sipping and mixing.

I purchased this whisky on the recommendation of a certain online whisky reviewer and I have to say I was more than pleased. As an experienced beginner on my malt journey I found this whisky both flavourful and approachable with far more to it than well known single malts.I'd definitely buy again.

Got this for under £30 on a deal and it’s a stunning whisky. It is at the lighter end of the flavour spectrum, but not lacking in flavour or complexity in the slightest. Beautiful ‘green apple’ note with a nice lick from the sherry cask that doesn’t overpower it.

Didnt like the fact that UPS said they attempted delivery when they didnt, then had to phone and they said Monday but came Saturday but alls well that ends well I guess , had this slurp last Xmas so Im expecting same lush , smooth taste mmmmm roll on Xmas DaY

The only better whiskies are the 12, 15 and 18 year old Glengoynes. No use of peat in the malting process means that the taste is clean and smooth without a hint of smoke. What you get is clean and smooth with fruits and vanilla, etc. Brilliant.

A real quality whisky this one. Went to their distillery back in 2008 when on a coach trip to Scotland and was impressed with their liqueur. I'm not a full-on whisky drinker but this does tempt me when I can afford to but it.

The bottle had a hairline crack around the bottom and so the whiskey was leaking out, very slowly, but still leaking gradually meaning it had to be rebottled when opened which spoilt the birthday surprise for my husband!

We usually go to the highlands and get this ourselves, however this year has been slightly different, so we got a bottle for the Christmas Season. The 10 year is a lovely balanced single malt with a palatable price tag.
