What a terrific little number, this is a wonderfully light and smooth whiskey it is more-ish and somewhat dangerously drinkable.Tasting Note by The Producer:Vanilla, shortbread and lemon peel.I’d say this isn’t too far off it’s not a peaty horror or a harsh chemical monster just a very likeable whiskey. On balance it’s not a stand out drink but in a way it is perfect in that regard this is one to have as a regular cupboard filler a go to when you want a relaxing easy tipple.I’d recommend a try if you get a chance!

This product was purchased for a whisky collector - someone who has a fine palate and critical taste.The whisky was very well received - feedback was that it had a complexity of flavours, like going on a taste journey - you meet different flavours at different layers so not a boring taste.The smell and the after-taste had vanilla, caramelly, gentle oak-smoked notes but not the coal-like smell some have. Smooth, silky, clean, warming and enjoyable.A thoroughly nice drink.

A pretty inoffensive (maybe not one for the whisky connoisseur) sherry seasoned malt in a nicely shaped bottle. This is a great all rounder for those who want to make sure they have a good quality whisky in the cabinet for Christmas. Less good for those wanting to buy this as a gift because the box is lightweight and came slightly torn with the bottle loose - not particularly good for wrapping or transporting.

I bought this for my father in law. He likes Speyside whisky. He let me have a glass. I liked it but not a wow factor for me. I think it is down to personal taste. I like more punch at the moment , so prefer Islay whisky (smoke and Peat). This was just a bit too dull for my taste. As an alternative from the Speyside area I liked the really smooth clean taste of Dalwhinnie 15.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He was very pleased and says it ranks up there with many of his 12 year old whiskies. He doesn’t like the smokey, peaty, whiskies so this must have a lighter flavour. He would certainly be happy to get another bottle at a later date.

I'd say this is a good entry to the world of quality scotch, very smooth, easy and pleasant to drink, if a little unchallenging and unsophisticated. Good value nonetheless: hard to go wrong buying this for everyday drinking.

Delicious. Very smooth and easy to drink. If you don’t like strong peaty whisky, then this one is definitely a one to try. It’s a fruity and spicy whisky that falls somewhere between rich but delicate on the whisky chart.

I'm not a whisky expert by any means but I was quite pleased with this one. It has a smooth, rounded, slightly smoky taste which is quite light and not too sharp. Overall very nice.

Brilliant whisky indeed. Very smooth with hint of vanilla and caramel. Buttery and savoury. Bit like a shortbread biscuit. Shared with friends and all enjoyed it.

Reliable go-to whisky brand with just the right touch of sweetness and smoothness. I buy this one repeatedly, whenever the price drops to £30 or below.
