If you like dark rum then this without doubt is the best for value for money.It's smooth, slightly spicey... not harsh like the more well known brands.I've been drinking Myers for years and now my sons love it too, but it can be difficult to find.I bought this for my son for Christmas.He was well chuffed when he opened his present and said that he had been looking for some, but could not find it.I always make sure that T don't run out.treat YOURSELF... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

This rum is nice, dark-ish and is okay for its price, but I found this is a bit too harsh comparing to Goslings black label, Bacardi Carta Negra or Morgan Dark. It has some tastes of herbals, but maybe its just my sense of taste. I always drink rums for sipping, without mixing it. But if you mix it with soft drinks or make cocktails, then might be a good option for you.

Perfect rum as always, made my father happy as he hasn’t had this brand for many years and he does love his rum being an ex submariner from the days when they got a tour of the full strength stuff :-).The gift wrap was done very well too, it made hisday. First thing he said was “Make myers a rum” so can only assume that’s how it used to be advertised years ago lol

Lovely dark rum with an unusual smoothness and complexity that I've found is often reserved to higher priced golden rums. Nice touch of spicyness and sweetness on the tongue (think molasses with a touch of vanilla) but not to the extent of Kracken or Captain Morgan's. Would endeavour to purchase again at the right price!!

Been looking all over for this. Bought this for my father's Xmas present, I have heard so much about it during his time of service with the army. While posted in Germany my dad was introduced to myers. Since coming home he has not seen it. Fingers crossed that the taste is still the same as he remembered it to be

This is one of the best Jamaican Rums I’ve ever tasted it been around a long time. I remember drinking it London in the Swinging Sixteys. Rich, smooth, deep bitter chocolate, black treacle and vanilla flavours. Great with ice just on its own. Also try it with Fentenmanns Curiosity Cola....just a splash over ice.

A family favourite from many years ago when my mom was a youngster. She'd be in bed and my grandfather would bring a cuppa tea in for her and my aunt with a tot of Myer's rum in full knowing that my aunt didn't like it and she'd give it to my mom. Mom now carries on the tradition of having the cuppa til this day

This is a really nice tasting Rum. I take my Rum neat and although this is good enough to sip neat, it is probably intended more as a mixer. It has some other flavours added to it, not overpowering like a Spiced Rum, but hints of Liquorice, mild spices and Vanilla are evident, in a nice way.

Myers rum was purchased as a gift for a friend who loves it. As it is so difficult to buy from shops - thank goodness for on-line suppliers. Myers has a distinct taste of dark brown sugar which evokes memories of wonderful Christmas cake........ Smooth and a marvellous taste.

Extremely strong, and very dark Rum, with a strong flavour and aroma. For me, it's best mixed rather than not - I wouldn't say it's "enjoyable", but, having tried it for the first time, it;s not bad, as long as it's diluted.

A great tasting full flavoured rum. The rum has a really nice taste of treacle and caramel hints and is a nice mellow drink. For the price this is a top quality winner and tastes just as good as most premium rums.

Very smooth very slight taste of coffee / vanilla.I normally prefer my Rum neat this is nice on its own or on rocks although I actually prefer this with Pepsi max.Would definitely recommend and would buy again

A good value and quality dark rum that's surprisingly smooth thanks to being aged in white oak barrels. Can't fault it as a mixer, neat it's not the most interesting rum for the money but solid nonetheless.

Got this as a gift for parents who'd done a caribbean cruise a few years back and kept going on about this rum. They coudlnt believe the price Id gotten it for, and confirmed its the real deal. Enjoy!
