I've not had rum this smooth since I finished my diplomatico reserva. A sweet taste with hints vanilla and pimento. I've read 1 review saying it had a slight banana taste but I couldn't taste it, which is lucky because I hate bananas. A very good rum for the price

Sorry bought as a gift so not tasted Bayou Spiced rum. However my niece says it is great.
