I've been meaning to review these boots for ages, and have never got round to it. Guided by the reviews I bought a 1/2 size larger and wondered at first if that would be a problem as there was quite a big space at the toe. I have horrible feet with big bunions which push my toes over, and this make buying and wearing-in shoes difficult. I had a horrible experience hiking in 2017 when my footwear nearly ruined it for me, so I was anxious about this. However, I kept them and took these, and a pair of Merrell hiking sandals, on a hiking holiday in Costa Rica for the entire month of February and could not have been happier with both. This is my second pair, but different pair of Merrell hiking shoes this year. I have a broad foot and take a UK 6.5, but normally buy EUR40. These are a UK7 (EUR40.5) and fit perfectly. They were comfortable from the first wearing, which is brilliant as I wear them most days for an hour or two walking my dog; often longer on the weekends. So far they have been waterproof even in wet grass. Long may that last as usually waterproofing is the first thing to fail even when meticulously cared for, so fingers crossed! I love the colour; they grip well on all surfaces so far and the laces actually stay tied. Hopefully they will prove to be the 'Mother of all Boats'

I bought these on the recommendation of my daughter and I'm very pleased with them. They were comfortable from day one and surprisingly lightweight. I'm a size 7 with a reasonably wide foot and I wear these with trainer socks and they're fine. If you wanted to wear thicker socks I'd recommend going for a half size bigger if you want to ensure they stay comfortable. I can't speak for how waterproof they are but you'd expect that with Goretex construction this would be a given. They look really good and don't make my feet look huge which is often the case with this type of shoe.Overall I'm delighted with them so far. Might come back in a few weeks with an update.

Perfect. I ordered these and when I tried them on they were perfect: they fit well, were very comfortable and very lightweight. Very happy with this purchase. Walking through wet grass above 3000 metres in the Austrian and Swiss Alps, the hiking boots appeared to get wet or damp (difficult to tell as I kept on walking) but within half an hour they were dry. Definitely recommend. Have used these boots in the desert - middle east - in all weathers - in the Alps of Italy and Austria and now in Eastern Europe. Brilliant. Will most likely purchase this same make again because they have proven to be water proof, incredibly comfy and durable.

I received these shoes today and I am 'wearing them in' although, already, I can see that it's not necessary. I looked at the reviews and sizing charts - I'm a size 6 (neither particularly wide or narrow feet) and bought 6.5, which with socks on is absolutely perfect. They feel very supportive all round and in the arch. Very light and super comfortable. The sole will be excellent in muddy conditions and being gore-tex I look forward to them keeping the water out. I'm used to wearing heavy boots and these make a very refreshing change that I shall stick to. I very much recommend buying these!

Bought these after firstly been advised to buy a very expensive pair of walking boots from a well known outdoors store, after 12 weeks of trying to break the boots in and with 4 weeks to go before a 26 mile charity trek, I purchased these Merrell Moab shoes after reading other reviews, best thing I’ve ever done!Never once had a blister, super comfortable, light on my feet. Proud to say I walked the whole 26 miles and couldn’t of done it without these shoes!!Fantastic service as always from Amazon, fast delivery, shoes were delivered within 4 days of me ordering. Literally saved my feet ?

I bought those Merrell shoes because I do long distance walking (3 to 5 km 3 times a week) and with my normal trainers I got quite tired in the end. I tried this pair and I really can see the huge difference. First they are so light and ultra comfy, the size is perfect I am 36 EU size and I bought 3.5 uk size. I am wearing now in this hot weather and they keep my feet fresh and even if a bit sweaty they do not smell at all. I would definitely recommend.

At the time of writing I have not had an opportunity to wear these walking shoes much as it is Spring / Summer and the weather has been quite warm and dry overall. However so far I have found the fit to be good for my wide feet compared with other brands and I have not had to break them in. They look pretty good too, so I'm very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

At last I've taken other people's advice and bought this style of shoe a half size larger. So far worn them once and very comfortable with plenty of support. Shoes allow for wider feet with room to fit my own orthotic insoles and heel lift. No they're not waterproof but I'd rather have ventilation round my feet for summer walking. They're also a lovely colour!

A little loose around the heel. Feels a little short at the back.Using for dog walking mainly and waterproof so far.Had to take laces out of last holes as it was painful across the bone on the top of foot- this sorted it though the folded ‘tongue’ sometimes hurts if not flattened. All this said, when the tongue is adjusted they are comfortable!

Great walking shoes - really comfortable - grippy - cool, not sweaty - true to size (I am normally a 5 in shoes generally and a 5 fits). The downside is that they make a slight noise when you bend your toes whilst walking (which i guess is the grips on the sole), but that doesn't really bother me its not that loud. i would recommend them.

Great shoes, love Merrell's but this style is just a bit wide for me round he heel - but my foot is narrow. The Merrell 'Siren' range fit me better, I have discoveredLikes the extra grip on these which the Siren doesnt have. But a very good light walking shoe.

I have wide feet, usually I wear Scarpa foot wear but didn't like the look of their approach shoes. These are great for 'proper walking' and can be passed off as trainers in and about town. I would recommend them, but not if you have very narrow feet.

another brilliant shoes from merrell.I am yet to test how it holds out in the rain.It's very grippy supper comfy and doesn't need breaking in at all.Also true to the size.Couldn't resist funky red.?
