If they fit you and you don’t mind the heaviness and stiffness at the start then they are the best boots money can buy. They do the job on the hills once broken in but also look good with jeans in the city due to the vintage stitched sole. If you are not used to wearing heavy leather boots then you will be in for a shock when you first wear them. They will not be comfortable from the box like many lighter and less rigid modern boots and will take a while to break in before they become comfortable. Also, they fit quite small for the stated size, I ordered half a size larger than my normal hiking footwear but should have got another half a size bigger, was lucky as I was able to change insoles so they fit fine.
