I was looking for some lightweight walking boots suitable for wider feet, and although I wasn't planning on spending so much on a pair of boots, these came highly recommended. I wanted quality that would last. I'm certainly not disappointed with them. They're fairly light for a walking boot, sturdy, with an excellent substantial sole. I've done some short walks to bed them in, and I've had no issues with them at all- no blisters, nothing. The quality of the boots is excellent, and I'm looking forward to using them next year in the Lake District, by which time I'll have used them much more. I aim to invest in some walking socks from the same brand. Definitely worth the money.
