Really happy with this, it's not the easiest tool to use I found it stuck quite a lot and the potatoes didn't push through I had to reorganize them often for them to be passed under the blade but I've not used one of these mills before so not sure if that's a frequent problem. I found a fair bit of potato didn't pass through and was left in the mill at the end, more so than a ricer but the quality of the mash was amazing! I could push the leftovers through after or tip them in as they were quite smooth already, the mash was so light and fluffy better than a ricer in quality. I need to try other things like fruits etc but overall I'm happy with this and would recommend it by far over a masher

I purchased this a month ago as I was fed up with my hand held electric blender. This versatile food mill has certainly earned its value. Baby food has never been easier to prepare as well as all the soups I make. What surprised me is how well the tomato juice is extracted without the skins. You can’t do that with an electric blender. This has been a surprisingly useful tool that I’m glad I purchased!

Made the best mash potato for my fish pie with this!! Also, it’s been great for mashing veg and fruit for my 7 month old! Warning, wash or soak it straight away after mashing potatoes as the dried potato is difficult to clean out of the mechanism!!

Nice solidly built food mill, it does the one thing that the modern stick blender can't - it removes the pips, so for sauces and jams you get a really smooth result that makes recipes much nicer.

Got this as my little girl as my baby started weaning. It's great for making purees, easy to clean and store! Great product, would highly recommend.

I am using this to remove the seeds when making raspberry or redcurrant jam. Does the job, but I have not tried it for anything else.

This gadget was simple to put together - solid enough to sit over a pan and then purée vegetables for soup.
