I was previously using the baco easycut foil dispenser for cutting tin foil, but it is difficult to find the refills for it, and they are very expensive. I decided to give this product a try, and I am very happy with it. It fits cheap supermarket foil perfectly. You just slide one of the red holders, put the foil in and push the holder back in.You can then pull out the required amount of foil and then close the lid to cut it. There is a small clip on the lid to keep it closed.I recommend this cutter to anyone who uses foil.It is slightly expensive for what it is It should pay for itself in a few months with buying cheap foil, and reduced wastage

Unfortunately most supermarket clingfilms are too wide but we don't use too much so I just saw 2cm off the end with an wavy, non-serrated insulation saw I have and it fits.A little smooth so can get greasy and a little slippery quickly but otherwise massively better than the card boxes that come with them.Plan to buy replacement rolls that are the right size from amazon and then almost perfect

arrived in a dirty scruffy box that had been sitting on the shelf for some time, the unit is very good and compact works better that the lakeland cutter and fits in the drawer better.

if you are looking for a PORTABLE foil-film cutter just buy it and forget the mess with THE OTHER STUFF.Extreme easy and precise cutting

Good item, would work well if I could find a supermarket cling film roll that was less than 35cm >.<

you need some strength to cut ie press hard so perhaps not for my gran but for me it works well
