I've only built a few Technic models preferring the Creator series but as a former Ducati owner I had to get this one. The build is relatively simple as long as you follow the comprehensive instructions and confirm part numbers; I only had to backup once and redo a few steps as I used the wrong angled piece. The engine detail and working suspension and gears is a nice touch and all body panels were well finished and all had matching color molds. Unlike other builders have reported, my model has no wobble in the final build and it rests stable on the stand. My only recommendations to Lego for future models like this would be to provide a front mudguard (fender) like the real bike,a rubberized or plastic seat piece vs the current 3-bar design and a more robust or properly curved windscreen (mine has somewhat of a narrow profile). Finally, a final nice touch would be to provide a small (to scale) helmet to build to complement the bike.

Enjoyed building this and it had some surprisingly complex steps within the build. The gear box is very good and it’s fancy bit of engineering to fit it all in the space - just like a real bike. Nice touches like the exposed clutch as per the real thing and also the body work.weakest part is the screen, which is made up of two ninjago swords and a stiffer than normal bit of plastic - it looks cheap and was fiddly to construct. Think they could have done better. The stand is also a bit of an odd design, not being overly stable - bit of customisation sorts that out quickly though. This also isn’t really a play thing at the end, unlike some earlier Technic bits - just like the real thing again it’s a bit highly strung with wobbly forks and other bits that don’t lend itself to racing around. That said, overall this is a good quality, enjoyable build and the final model does looks very impressive on the shelf - it’s pretty big too.

I really enjoyed building this set. Like other reviewers have said, the windshield leaves a bit to be desired, but I wasn't bothered by this very much. For me, the issue is the stand. It just really isn't functional. I build these sets to display them, not the "use" them or play with them, so I wanted something much more robust than the wobbly stand that comes with the set. My solution was simply to build my own, which certainly isn't as pretty, but is much more functional for display purposes. I am still giving this set 5 stars over all because I think the vast majority of the experience is overwhelmingly positive and enjoyable, but I would definitely like to see the folks at Lego re-design the stand.I will try to update this review to include pictures of the stand I built. In the end, a wonderful addition to the collection and a set I would highly recommend!

Ordered the Ducati as soon as available And took about a week to arrive. Started the build and only got to page 14, when I found that a piece was missing. This was very disappointing and it was the first time I have had a piece missing.(No it was not stuck in the bag as missing piece 8 to 10cm long). Ordered this and to be fair, this arrived pretty quickly. Once over this initial disappointment, I really enjoyed the build and the finished Ducati looks impressive. The stand is a nice touch, although construction of this, could be a touch sturdier to support the bike. Like other models, I would much prefer not to have stickers, but have the design imprinted onto the Lego pieces.Definitely worth a 4 star rating and would definitely recommend this model.

Loved it fantastic build, a couple of the step, specifically regarding the application of the stickers could be a little clear as to the rotation of the part. Other than this minor area the model is fantastic replication (I noted other comments regarding the angle of the front forks and missing mudguard (fender) and completely agree with them). The only error of concern is how the Ducati sits on the stand, it's either the rear tyre is to wide or the stand to narrow, I have rebuilt it several times and the result is always the same, the Ducati leans to the side and the rear wheel will not rotate. They tyre comes into contact with the red and black blocks on the one side and the red bar the other, instead of the tyre sitting central.

First technic build Ive done and first lego set I've built for over 10 years. Built it an hour to two hours at a time and took my time to enjoy it. Made many mistakes that I had to undo and fix even down to the very last of putting the cowl on I had done parts completely wrong lolIts been great fun building and I feel for the price its great value - if you're considering it def go for it. Finished it also looks awesome for display or in the man cave. I am also def looking at getting another technic set soon after this experience - possibly the Sián Lambo once they've sorted the colour issue with the greenAnyways, great set, great build, great buy and great experience thank you Lego !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ducati Panigale V4 R was a very fun and very challenging build. It took us about 4-5 hours to build, but I was working with an 8 year old who kept confusing the pieces. We are fairly experienced lego builders and we have over 100 lego setsyet it was still quite difficult. The windshield on the Ducati was the worst part because it was just a lame piece of plastic but it still looked pretty cool when it was done. This was a technic set, so it was harder to build than a normal set. In the end, the Ducati looked incredible and was super fun to play with! While I would recommend this set to adults, I think I prefer regular lego sets more.

I was super excited about this set, and wasn't disappointed. For the cons, it wasn't as fun a build as I had hoped, the stickers for the vents don't allow for perfect vent alignment, some of the mechanisms stick out too far on the right side, the windshield is kind of "eh, so-so", and there are a few gaps that are not on the real thing. For the pros however... working front and rear suspension, working V4 engine and transmission, a modeled oil filter and spinning clutch, awesome disk-breaks, the front wings like the real thing, working steering, and easily-removable panels to see inside the crazy motorcycle... Yeah, the pros outweigh the cons by a longshot.

Really great fun build. So satisfying watching it come together bit by bit, really happy with the finished product. More motorcycles would definitely be appreciated. The only improvements I’d make would be less stickers, and the addition of a front mudguard. The front end looks too high with too much of a gap between the wheel and front fairing compared to the actual bike, and a mudguard would have helped significantly. There’s even an area it could be mounted from on the steering assembly, it’s almost as if Lego designed it in, then just forgot. Overall delighted however and will have pride of place on my desk!

Let’s get it out of the way first, but it is not completely accurate. Okay, acknowledging that, this was such a fun building process! The end result is something to be pleased with for sure. The angles of the panels and the building techniques to accomplish those were new to me. The gearbox is very compact and works flawlessly. I am amazed at the design of it. If you’re looking for a refreshing build and a great looking model, this is it! Side note: I think had the size and price increased it could have been more accurate but this is nice. Even includes the racing stand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ducati Panigale V4 R Lego set is very fun and challenging. Building this with my kids was a very enjoyable experience. It took us around 4 hours to complete it. I love the details that have been added to this bike like the gearbox and suspension. The finished product is very durable as my kids have been playing with it and all the pieces have stayed intact. Overall, I'm very happy with the design and details of this bike and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging Lego set.

I have several technic sets, but this is my first bike, the build was fairly straight forward, had a couple of mis-steps but got through it, not a fan of stickers but see how they keep the price down. On the plus side the thought that went into this engineering is mind blowing, with all the gears and moving parts, love the suspension, On the downside it needs a front mud guard and the fairing screen is a milky colour and very flimsy, and attached to the bike by 2 samuri swords? whats that about. Still it looks good and please give us more Bikes

This is purely amazing !!! My friend bought it for me and this is just classic. Honestly speaking i tired other Lego technic but so far the second best after Bugatti Chiron. While I was making it I thought waste of time and not so cool. But while making the engine and the body part, it blew my mind. It is bigger and bold than I expected. It will be in my permanent collection. Just one feedback to LEGO. The parking stand is super cool however the red brick to the hole could have been long enough to stick it tighter. I bought this earlier this morning to sit and build alongside my son. I have to say, it took me back somewhat and to say I enjoyed the build, would be an understatement. As a petrol head by nature, I can't express how happy I am with the overall end product. Bike looks fantastic and the level of detail and intricacies are impressive. I have read reviews criticising the looks but this is lego.... Love what they have done and the person(s) who designed this, deserve a medal ✌️Bring on the next lego bike and sign me up.

I love the fact the LEGO has started to issue motorbikes! This one's definitly worth the money and a sturdy build that can be played with. The gearbox was quite callenging even though I've built a lot of Technic models in the past, For the money it costs I guess you couldn't expect preprinted pieces but the stickers does look OK.The only real issue I have with this model is it's stand. It is wobbly and has caused the model to fall of the shelf by it self on two occasions. Thanks to the sturdy build it held up quite good.
