My 2.5 yr old has just started to take a huge interest in bricks, he has tried mega blocks but gets upset when they fall apart. Saw duplo at a friends house and he loves building with them. We have brought him 2 sets as main Christmas gifts this year. Easy to follow instructions, he is able to complete building from the pictures (we cut the picture from the box as it’s sturdy and he can follow the colour patterns) bright and easy to keep clean (chuck them in a pillowcase with some bundled socks, tie it off and pop in the washing machine) hours of uses for him and educational as well.

I bought it for my 20-month-old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She loves playing with the little characters and combining the blocks one on top of the other. She can recognise the numbers and read them aloud. The quality is superb and the colours are so brilliant you can teach your children the names of the colours, too. The pieces are a perfect size for her little hands but still big enough so that she couldn’t put them in her mouth.

My son has recently become obsessed with trains. I saw this at the LEGO store the other day and knew I had to get it for him. He's also been talking up a storm and loves counting so it was the perfect toy for him. He loves it; carries it everywhere around the house. He's 2.5 and pulling apart the bricks and putting them back together in different shapes is great for him. I highly suggest this item to anyone who's small children love trains.

I love the LEGO DUPLO number train, it is a great value product. My son loved it when he was 2, 3, and 4, he still likes to play with it when we get it out. I always get this for 2 year old's birthdays. The bricks are great to help them with construction and dexterity and the numbers help them to learn counting and colours. There are loads of role-playing fun to have with the dog and the boy characters - overall, a super toy!

My little grandson is mad on his little cars, trucks and tractors, so this was an ideal present for him! He just can't leave it alone - he just loves hooking all the little carriages together and then pushing the whole thing along! It's made of strong, durable plastic in lovely, bright colours and he's going to have hours and hours of fun with this among his collection of little push-alongs!

The wonderful bright colours of this sturdy number train make it a great gift for any young child. This set was a brilliant addition to my little boys Lego Duplo, both my 5 and 3 year old really enjoyed playing with the train and it kept their attention for hours! Bright colours and lots of details to catch the children’s eye. Educational also with the numbered blocks. Plenty of peices to use their imagination, taking the train apart and building their own creations

This quality early learning toy is a wonderful way to start your little ones on the road to mastering the art of counting in a fun and colourful way. It is a great product and, as always, was delivered so quickly by my number one favourite store. Excellent service all round. This was bought for a little girl. Trains are not just for boys!

I bought this train for my three-year-old grandson, who loved it! The combination of wheels, bricks, colours, numbers and characters makes this a very attractive, enjoyable and, even, educational toy - a hit all round. The quality of the pieces is very good and strong so will withstand a lot of toddler play.

Bought for 18 month grandson. Managed to get train built with help. He loved the character figures and interacted with me playing with it. Enjoyed the roof lifts on train drivers carriage. Will get another few years of use as he grows and better ability to build himself and learn the numbers.

The Lego’s are colourful, good quality and my little brother enjoys playing with them. Their affordable and you get a good bunch of Lego’s for the price your paying. Not too much or too little. They’ve got numbers and letters on them so children can learn their ABCs or 1,2,3 while their playing.

This Duplo train is excellent. It was bought as a present for a two year old and he loves it. It is a lovely train and the bricks can be used to make many other things as well so it is very versatile. It is also useful for helping a child to recognise numbers. A very good quality versatile buy.

I bought the Ledo Duplo train for the 1st birthday of our neighbours. He loved it!We have the same set at home and whilst at first the kids loved playing with it as a train, they now use the parts to build robots and other imaginative pieces.I think Lego Duplo are the best ever!

My grandson is too young, so it is ready for Xmas, I've looked at the train and it will be suitable for him, the size is great for little hands I know he will love it, it is so sturdy will last for years, my sons loved Duplo Lego when they were young, it's the best toys for young minds.

This was originally bought for my eldest son when we was 2. Both he and his younger brother have loved playing with it- my 4 year old still does- and we have just purchased it for a friend's son's second birthday. Great, courful and helps with number recognition and imaginative play.
