I bought this for the wife as she went to London and went sight seeing around this area!!Built it in about hour and half, its nicely detailed with a moving lowering bridge, nice little Lego man to go ontop of the Nelson Column, Big Ben is nicely detailed and its all built to a considerable scale! Its an easy straight forward build and for the money id say its a bit too expensive, ive had the others that were cheaper and probably little more challenging and more pieces! This got four instead of five stars as the London Eye doesn't move but that's not why, its because it has a rotating part in the middle of the eye which does nothing, it's as if it was unfinished and had to check it to see if it was wrong,a very strange thing to do!All in all if your a collector or want this as an ornament then its a great piece just need to buy whilst an offer is on!!

My son loves Lego and loves London so was very keen to get started on this Lego set. I initially thought it might be a bit old for him and he may need a hand but no, in spite of it having 12 on the box a younger child who is used to using Lego will not find a big problem with this. He completed this through the day and its fairly easy to follow the instructions to be fair so any child familiar with Lego will be ok with this. Another thing which makes it child friendly is its quite small, now I know that may raise the thought of value for money and thats pretty subjective but it does make it less complex to use for a young builder. My son was greatly impressed with his days work so for me it was worth the money and I will probably buy another city.It is a bit expensive but its also very well made and does now look lovely on the shelf.

I was a little surprised when this arrived as the box is smaller than expected – it measures approximately 27cm x 20cm.The box contains 468 parts and the assembled structure measures roughly 28cm x 15cm. There is excellent attention to detail given to this set, for example there are clear pieces to depict the river running under the bridge as well as the glass pods of the London Eye.It took around 2 hours to build as a solo effort and the London Eye definitely took the longest time - it is quite hard to get a perfect circle, but persistence pays off!.The instructions are very easy to follow and there are some interesting facts about the landmarks included. This would make a lovely gift for someone, and is good enough to be displayed as an ornament once completed.

Another great build from Lego, making great use of my time. This model is more suited towards older children and adults due to the small pieces and fiddly assembly, but it all makes for a detailed product. The only unfortunate aspects is that I was expecting the London Eye to spin, which is doesn’t, as well as the fact that Big Ben seems more like a light brown stack rather than a detailed clock tower. Understandably due to size, however I feel more detail could have been included on this landmark.Other than that, the assembly was quick with an easy-to-follow and high quality instruction manual that came with facts and information regarding each of the featured landmarks.

This is a really beautiful set which had my 7 year old son (and me!) fascinated. We both loved the ingenuity of using the small pieces to represent the different textures of building facades, and will definitely add more to our Architecture collection later. I thought we were going to have a fight about who got to play with Lord Nelson, but fortunately there was a spare so we were each able to have one - my set now has an extra Nelson on the top of Tower Bridge because why not? A really great little set.

Everyone is an AFOL these days so I thought I would follow the flock and buy some. It's actually a great little set that is fun to build (takes around 2 hours at a leisurely pace) and is perry ingenious how some of the buildings are constructed. It also looks good on the shelf which is the most important thing.Pity there are no non-London UK sets. Milton Keynes has a great shopping centre but I'm not sure how easy it is to depict rounderbouts in lego...

This was an unconventional souvenir for my 10 year old nephew. He absolutely loved it! He had more complicated models in the past and said it was very quick and easy to put this together, so I guess it could work well for younger kids or for those who don't have much experience with lego. The box was small enough to find space for it in the suitcase. Still a beautiful model, which looks good on a book shelf.

Really happy with this set. It's a great display piece and I really enjoyed building it. I ordered a few of this set on Amazon and they came very well packaged, which was nice as I've also had LEGO sets come from amazon that have been severely damaged during Amazon's shipping. The only negative thing I would say is be careful if buying this as a gift as sometimes the boxes can be a little scuffed from storage.

My favourite model in the Architecture series, along with Sydney. Great design, little attentions to details make this set a pleasure to do. And once finished looks amazing. Shame the wheel doesn't spin! That would definitely have been a nice touch.Follow me on the Youtube/Facebook (PuzzleMeAJigsaw) for LEGO and jigsaw time-lapse building videos and reviews.

I purchased this item for my friend. He's been building the lego bus and wants to put this scene behind the bus to build out the picture. Overall this item is great. It is quite small but the quality is great and he's extremely pleased with it. The delivery was speedy and I am so pleased with the service and item as he's keen to get building this one.

I had been looking for something for my teenage son to do during lockdown rather than being fixed to the computer screen. We spend time in London each year so this is a nice model for his room and to remind us of our trips there. I would definitely recommend the architecture series for kids and whilst they are more expensive the quality is nice.

Lovely little London scene. I’m not sure of age rating, my daughter is 7 (an able 7 but it says 12+ not the box) after a trip to London she was desperate for all the landmarks! I would say the London eye isn’t as sturdy as you’d expect. She seemed to have no issue putting together by herself. Not a very big set for the money but she’s pleased.

I bought this for my daughter for something to do on the rainy days during August school hols. She is 12 and so at the lower end of the age range. Although it looks good when made, the wheel doesn't turn and effectively is an ornament when fully built. However only took her two hours to build so expensive for the length of entertainment value.

Bought this for my 6 year old for xmas and although I supervised him, he managed to build this himself quite easily. Lots of small pieces so my contribution was mainly just to find all the bits that he needed. We both really enjoyed building it and now that it's finished, it looks great. My son has decided he wants the Eiffel tower next!

I bought this for my wife as an extra birthday present. She enjoyed putting this together. The instructions were easy to follow and the pieces were all there. There was one piece she thinks might have been the wrong colour but I don't think the instructions specified the actual colours of everything. But it wasn't one of the major pieces.
