I absolutely love this addition to the collection. It's by far one of the most unique, detailed, and eye-catching. It's especially overdue since Tokyo hasn't had any attention in the 10+ years of Lego Architecture. All the details are great: the Tokyo Tower, the cherry blossoms, the pagoda, and of course Mt. Fuji in the background. The only complaint that I have is that the antenna - from the base - of the Tokyo Tower falls off very easy. I've double-checked my build and can't find anything I'm missing. Just seems like a flimsy design, but it's good it breaks off in a large chunk so it won't get lost.Overall great set and I'm really excited to see what other great skylines Lego comes up withnext.

As someone who has visited Japan, speaks the language, and is a fan of most things Japanese, I immediately picked up this set and it doesn't disappoint. I love all the little details from the neon lights of Shibuya crossing, to the Sensoji temple, and even the brand new Tokyo Sky Tree! So many unique pieces and colors, which might make it a bit challenging for younger fans of LEGO (especially all of the different colors for Shibuya crossing), but honestly this would make a wonderful display piece for anyone. And for anyone who doesn't know what the various landmarks are, the build guide actually explains them all. Highly recommended!

I love this set. It is so fun and detailed, bringing a great amount of colors, wonderful buildings and techniques used, and excitement whenever I look at it. I thoroughly enjoyed the build, and I am very happy with the standard no-stickers within the architecture line. Though pagoda and gate behind the two cherry blossom trees are not named, I feel they add more detail and interest than trying to make them fully-fledged; they add to the display without taking away from the other pieces. The set is fun to look at I feel (though I have never been to Tokyo, and may be speaking out of turn) that the set is very representative of Tokyo.

As the title says, overall I really like this set. Tokyo Tower and Mt. Fuji in the background are very well done. I also love the cherry blossom trees. My one complaint is with the Skytree. The white beams that are pictured are rubber and can bend pretty easily. Tow of the ones I received had a bend in them so I put them in back. Also, the top of the beams don't attache to anything, they just sit inside the cone at the top. Between that and then bending, it makes it very hard to achieve a nice uniform look. This part of the model could have been done better.Overall I'm still glad I purchased it.

I got this as my birthday gift as well as Dubai. I really like the detail of the whole set. From Mt. Fuji in the back to the screens in the Shibuya Crossing to the Chidorigafuchi park and the Emperial Palace. I wish the Tokyo SKYTREE was more stable but it's fine. The tiny Pagoda like building on the left in-front of the Tokyo Tower is unlabeled but I just pretend it's a monastery. Overall a great set with lots of detail.

I purchased this set for my 7 year old son. He loves lego and loves the architecture line. He's a bit advanced in lego for his age. It took him about 3 hours to complete. He really enjoyed building the set and did not require any assistance to build it. I was hoping it would be a bit more challenging for him as it is 16+ but he said it wasn't hard to build. Overall I don't regret the purchase, and he loves this set.

Tokyo is by far my favourite Architecture set yet,Shibuya Crossing being one of my most loved parts.Only flaw with the set is that Mt Fuji actually has a small gap in it and you can even see it on box art and pictures (just below snow line) which is a shame Lego couldn't find a way around that otherwise really good set hope to see an Edinburgh one soon , also Mt Fuji needs its own set.

This is the best Architecture model I have done to date (13th). It is colourful and when built quite impressive and has a bit more of a challenge to it. The Tokyo cocoon really stands out, but as other reviewers have said the top of the Tokyo tower is a bit wobbly but don't let that put you off. Overall a very good and rewarding build.

Was a pretty good build. Took around 3 hours to complete.Had some difficulty with a section using like 8 different coloured studs where it wasnt clear which colour was which in the guide but did come with a lot of spares. The buildings were pretty unique and interesting except for the temple.

The set is beautifully made and I am very excited to take it back to my classroom (when it reopens) and have my students learn about the buildings! My only complaint is that the top of the red and white tower is constantly popping off! No matter what I do it does not stay on!

This set is the most colorful in the series to-date. It uses alot of red pieces. I especially liked the Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower .I also purchased Dubai and have the complete Skyline sets to date.Hopefully, we will see additional sets in 2020.

This set is so cool I'm glad I got my hands on it. One thing I would critique is that the black backgrounds makes the dark pieces hard to see and match up. Besides that, I loved how the directions also included the building names and trivia.

As far as the architecture skyline series goes, this one definitely lives up to expectations. The techniques used to create the buildings were fun and definitely not repetitive. The whole set was fun

One of the sets i like the most from Architecture. Love the details, especially the mountain in the background and Shibuya Crossing with the neon lights, the cherry trees are also a nice addition.

I found it really interesting learning facts about the lad marks and I really enjoy the variety of colours and the blossoms it is a relaxing set to build after a days graft
