I was given the Lego Technic Motorbike set as a Christmas present, and not having built anything with Lego Technic for many years was looking forward to seeing what, if anything, had changed since I were a lad.The set comes with two seperate sets of very detailed instructions - one for the motorbike model on the front of the box and also a second, slightly different, motorbike. I found the time to make the main model and was impressed at the increased number of different bricks and other bits that now make up the Technic range. Sure, some of the bits (such as the cowlings) are there to make the model look good, but there is nothing but your imagination (and lack of time!)

Like a lot of people, I'm sure I'm somewhat older than the "target" audience of ages marked on the box (9-16) - I'm 47, but that didn't stop me having a lot of fun building this model.Construction is enjoyable and very absorbing, and it builds up into a really nice looking model - somewhat reminiscent of a British-built motorcycle with a 3-cylinder engine and twin headlights. Unlike a previous reviewer, I find the sidestand to be perfectly adequate, and it holds up the bike perfectly well. The only slightly tricky part is getting the self-adhesive stickers lined up perfectly on some of the parts. If you're a motorcycle owner, you'll also be a little alarmed at the amount of slack in the drivechain,

Bought this for myself as I am currently going through a second childhood and needed a build fix! Instructions are good and the level of detail to moving parts such as the chain drive and pistons is exceptional. I am somewhat dubious about the lower age of 9 for building this kit as it is a fairly complex kit and took me just over an hour to complete. I also have the buggy (model 8048) which is equally impressive in detail but I think the motorbike has more of a wow factor.

Got this couple of day ago, and I am pleased with it!Pros:+ Price+ Enough pieces to make it fun+ Size+ Lego quality+ Fun also for adults :)Cons:- Building time is not that long :)Overall, a good product from Lego Technic, which I personally recommend.Thank you Amazon!

Bought this to kill some time when the missus was watching sh**ty X factor. It was good fun building and makes a brill ornament. Ive only made the chopper bike so far but am sure there be more crap on tv soon.

I chose to build the B model, the chopper and it's very well done. The only thing that lets it down is that the front suspension is a little flimsy but apart from that, a great build!

This is a marvellous toy the recipient was overwhelmed,but there was a snag two pieces of this lego set were missing,very upsetting.

So as a big kid i buy the occasional Lego kit and this one caught my eye. nice overall design and sits nicely on the shelf.
