The Blackhoe Loader arrived earlier than expected & it was a fast delivery from Austria. Really happy with how it was packaged too. Needed it to arrive by a certain time as all the family were putting it together for my dad who very sadly has recently passed away. My dad use to drive & operate one of these so my mum thought it was a fantastic idea for all the family to piece together this technic loader so it can be displayed on top of my dad's coffin. What an amazing feeling all helping put together this loader for my dad. It took about 4 hours to build but there was 14 of us taking turns to build. All worked together & my dad would be proud of us. We even found a lego figure saying that's my dad & put it inside to drive it.

Bought this wonderful model for my grandson aged six who is a serial technic builder. Halfway through building he reported that construction had come to a halt as a piece was missing. Got on the lego site, clicked on 'missing parts', placed an order and within a week it had arrived from Lego. Great service: backhoe now complete. One complaint and that is that the alternative model has no plans provided finding it difficult to download these.

Now you need to know what you are doing with this one but when it has all been worked out you get a lot of satisfaction. Not only to complete but to also be able to look at the model; you made with pride.

Bought it as a christmas present for my dad.....he had many "real life" versions of these and is now retired......and buiding it together brought back memories and stories.

Brilliant bit of kit, looks much more complicated than it actually was to build, and much bigger than we were expecting it to be.

we bought it for our grandson it was wonderful easy to assemble but not too easy he loved building it and playing with it
