being a 1 mug thermos flask and replacing a 1970s original thermos flask which I smashed the inner flask of from dropping. This has a steel fixed flask, so that won't be happening again. The design itself is nice and modern and there is a cup lid and inner stopper but with the description being so vague and generic for the range it omits that the stopper has an open/close mechanism and care instructions. The lid has a small open/close button that allows pouring without having to take the stopper out and would make pouring easier, although I decant into a travel mug so take it off and pour as I want the whole contents out in one rather than refilling the smaller screw top lid cup.Care instructions recommend handwashing the whole unit, but it says that the canister can be dishwashed but not the plastic stopper or plastic lined cup. That in itself isn't a problem as the canister is the only thing that is tricky to clean and the dishwasher takes care of that.Preheating is supposedly as little as 30 seconds of boiling water. There is no mention of how long it considers drinks to be able to be kept hot but I only use it for 1-2 hours maximum and it performs well for that.My use is for a refill of coffee at the end of reasonably short journeys rather than buying one when I get there and it pays for itself over just 3 shop bought cups. For me it is the right size to carry and not be a burden with enough volume for one cup and no more a short time after leaving home and is easy enough to keep clean. It should never smash and therefore delivers everything I want from it.

Purchased for DD to take to school. Have bought cheaper/similar versions before which have all leaked.Tested this with cold water and thought it was leaking after being filled and turned upside down. But, this was because the lid which can be clicked downwards to open, was full of water after washing.Once the odd drip was shaken out, it didn't leak at all.A good tip is to pre-warm the flask with hot water prior to filling.Dropped one star only due to the silly design of the lid which doesn't allow the liquid to pour easily. Just unscrew and take off completely to avoid a mess.

Bought two of these one for my wife and one for me to use whilst walking during the current covid situation. Holds enough liquid for around a small cup and a half which as we have two flasks is easily enough for a refreshing hot drink whilst walking. Excellent quality steel and reasonably easy to clean. Hot drinks stay hot for longer than I have ever needed (at least 6 hours). Not tried cold drinks but I imagine these would stay cold equally as well. Recommended especially if you only need a smaller drink which is easy to carry.

Keeps your coffee warm for hours, no leaking if internal cap is properly fixed. Internal cap is done of 2 parts which can be separated unscrewing them, useful for washing. No info about quality of steel but no change of taste in the coffee noticed.I would recommend.

It's small and only holds a mugfull but the design and quality/build is excellent. The last metal flask I had (own brand Tesco I think) leaked blackcurrant juice all over music. So having one that can fall over sidesways etc without any problems is fabulous.

A lovely little flask. Ideal to pop in a small rucksack. It easy to use, with a push down dispenser. So no juggling, flask and lid, to get a drink.
