Just a really really good flask. No leaks what so ever. Pouring mechanism pretty good. Oh. Quick pointer. For anyone reading the review saying it takes 1/2 an hour to get the instructions out, it doesn’t. Just unscrew the lid. Then the pourer. Then the ‘neck’. And the instructions slide out just fine. Now that’s out the way. This flask really holds the heat in well. I can make coffee for the day at 6:30 am. If I don’t drink it throughout the day. It’s still hot when I get home at 5:30. Really really impressed by the fact it doesn’t leak one little bit. No mess in my bag. No mess in the car. The only disappointment is that mine arrive scratched which you notice others have mentioned.A shame when buying an expensive product. Also. Don’t forget. Unscrew the neck to be able to fit a tea spoon in. Others it’s a pain. Also good to disassemble as much as poss for cleaning. No harder scrubbing. No soaking. Remove coffee or tea stains ASAP after usage. Spare seals/rings available. Should last forever. Great product.

This product is at the top end of Thermos flasks as you get both an excellent design alongside fantastic usability. When used for either hot or cold drinking liquid this product is built to do exactly what is intended, the outer stainless steel casing remains cool to the touch, no leakage and added to this is the wonderful cup which I find provides really good grip during use. Sometimes everyday products get overly redesigned and the products original intended use can get totally lost during the manufacturing process, however not in this case. Honestly worth every penny spent an outstanding genuine quality brand and truly wonderful product. I give a massive recommendation,go buy for yourselves; you will not in my opinion be disappointed. A note to Thermos the enclosed instruction and care guide leaflet and the font size used is ridiculously tiny and should be enlarged to aid ease of readability. NB: (This is not in any way a sponsored review).

I've no real need for 24 hours of hot drinks however I do like a hot cup of tea after 6 to 8 hours walking/hiking. The water came out so hot it burnt my hand (good news for once!) and I can't say I've come across any issues (yet) with leaks or annoyances with the two valve stopper when pouring. Lost a star as I felt the cup could have been slightly bigger and it retained a smell of soup even after washing thoroughly. As a suggestion, they could also have considered a small storage space in the cup for sugar/milk powder (considering the price,it's the little things that matter, though I accept it was not advertised as such). Otherwise, good for what it is and works well.Update: Filled up with hot water yesterday at 8am..it's been out in the hills, coffee poured and the water is STILL scalding hot some 26 hours later.. really impressed. No leaks or issues even after some heavy knocks and abuse the last few weeks.

Well made, stylish, exactly what you would expect from company with 115 years of history.BUT… do make sure you have a pair of long tweezers at hand to aid you in removing the instructions that some numpty has hidden inside the flask!!! (I’m sure you could add this essential tool to your Amazon order)AND… make sure that you have one of the following:? very good eyesight? a smart phone with a magnifying feature? a magnifying glass… in order to read the extremely diminutive instructions.Added 19 July 2021:Should you (and others) wish to enjoy a perfectly chilled bottle of wine at a summer’s picnic, this is flask is absolutely perfect. I tried it in the recent 30°C temperatures.I don’t think it will work with champagne as you will lose fizz pouring it into the flask. BUT I’m sure that it will worked for hot mulled wine taken to sustain you during a crisp winter’s walk!

Only used once so far, so 4 * is provisional, and could change if the whole thing falls apart inside a month. Very light-weight, with double stopper mechanism that allows easy pouring (provided it is opened sufficiently). Both stopper parts have good grips that allow them to be tightened sufficiently for security and easily opened. Main body of flask is made of thin stainless steel, and this looks as though it could easily be damaged, but accounts for the light weight. Very little leakage of heat from the main body of the flask, with just a little round the stopper. Drink was still very hot after 3 hours. Cup a little small. Flask volume allows about 6 cup-fulls.The rubber base looks a good feature - dropping a flask on its base is generally an easy way to ruin it, and this material could help to reduce damage, but I wouldn't recommend trying it out!

One and a half big cups worth of coffee made at 11 pm and still hot (enough to to leave for a minute or two) at 5pm the following day.Cup is small and no lip on the flask means pouring always leaves a drip or two. I use on the train in the morning and take a separate travel mug as the cup/lid is useless. Pouring means you often get a drip on the table, your lap or at the very least down the side of the flask hence 4 stars. It does not leak at all and I have carried it loosely in a rucksack all day with no problems. The colour does not matter - it's a flask but the rubber base seems a bit cheap.Would buy one with a bigger cup next time. Keeps hot for ages and enough for two medium sized mugs of what ever. The size is slender and tall so not too bulky to carry round or look to out of place when using on the commute.

I have both sizes of this flask, and they both work very well--they really do keep the contents warm for a full day at work. They feel robust, they look great...what more can you ask for? I have to say that in these 'wash everything twice' times, the endless indented ridges on the lid make it a bit of an annoyance to clean, and I can't see why Thermos can't develop a flask that is capable of being in a dishwasher, but aside form that, they're fab.I would say that the smaller size is 'very' small. It's basically something to keep one and a half cups of tea warm. The larger size is great for a more filling soup dinner, and I'd love to see one of these with a wide neck, like a proper food flask. But yes,I'd recommend, despite the price ticket--it's the only flask I've ever owned that lives up to its promise!

The lightest flask in this category.Keeps the water hot for 18 hours: filled it up with freshly boiled water and left it. The water was still mouth burning after 18 hours and I had to leave it to cool for a few minutes before I could drink. The silicon rubber protects the base and to some extent the sides on a flat surface. BPA free as advertised. The pouring stopper works well if turned quarter of turn and up to half a turn. More than that the fluid can come out of the sides of it. You still have the option of opening the larger stopper for more flow. The capacity of the cup (outer lid) is 150 ml. So approximately 6 cups when it is full.4 star because far too many parts to wash and dismantle.8 parts in total to wash if you decide to wash absolutely everything for a deep clean.

I've put this flask through its paces on the farm, chucking it about from machine to machine, field to field. Its had drops, scratches and daily use. It has delivered. The first time I bought this flask was 23rd February 2017. It worked brilliant right up to early March 2019 where I accidently 'threw' it off the sprayer. I say 'threw' as it was a fumble which turned into throw. Sadly that was one drop too many and it no longer held its heat. The current one I use was purchased that same day on 11th March 2019 and I'm still happy with it. There are even the odd days where I don't drink all the contents and when I rinse it out 24 hours later the next morning to refill it with a fresh batch of teathe old contents will still be steaming.Highly recommend.

Have only used it for a week or so, do can't comment on durability. In terms of performance i.e. keeping water hot, it's the best flask I've owned (as an ex outdoor instructor I've owned a few). Has some really well thought out features; rubberised grippy bottom, plastic cup with kinda (sticky out bits) legs so won't slip off rock so easy, rubber Rand half way up to stop denting should it fall over on flat service, super light (important if your traveling fast and light), but most importantly... I have tested this over various periods with a pre heat... Is hot after 12-14 hours, was even surprised to find after '30' hours was still warm, all be it the hotter side of tepid (tests done in above zero temperatures).

I really like this flask and it is a 100% improvement on my last one which served as nothing more than a 'back warmer' when taken out with me on walks.I used it today and my hot drinks were as warm as they were at the end of the day as they were at the start. Very little loss in heat. The only comment I would make is that the neck on the flask is quite small. The bit below the lid can be taken off (to make the opening slightly larger) but not by much. You would struggle to get larger ice cubes (or chunky soup) in this flask. For what I want though it is perfect and, if needed, would buy again. It also doesn't leak so you don't have to worry if it tips up in your bag as won't damage the othercontents.

I was slightly put off by the price of this, given that other flasks can be bought for two thirds of the cost. But having used it I consider it worth the price. It is very well made, and I especially like the built in rubberised sections to reduce damage when carrying the flask about. It was lighter than I expected making it more suitable for use when walking than many others. But the big plus is that it really does work- it keeps its contents hot for long periods! I don't use it for cold drinks but I'm sure the insulation would work just as well in keeping stuff cool. So by all means buy a cheaper flask, but if you really want your drinks kept at the temperature you want then buy this.It really works!

This flask lives up to its name as the ultimate flask. It really is.Size wise - there’s enough drink for my full day without it being oversized. It fits in my backpack perfectly.Cup - the cup works fine. No need for a handle. The sides don’t get hot.Temperature - I only use mine for hot drinks, but I can say the 24 hours claim is not exaggerated. This thing really does keep drinks very hot.I used this yesterday to summit snowdon in -7 windchill. The hot chocolate I took inside it was still steaming hot, just as it was when I poured it in, many hours later. Past uses of this flask have seen it stay hot for around 24 hours when I’ve been testing it.Great flask. Worth the money and works well.

I'd given up on flasks years ago as my lunch break would be 7+ hours after i leave the house in the morning and any flask i tried produced luke warm results. However, having read about this products results in numerous reviews i decided to part with some cash and give it a go. The positive reviews have been proven correct as i can now enjoy scalding hot tea 8 hours after filling. Ive found that filling the flask with boiling water the night before and refilling in the morning works best, as well as scalding my cold cup before use.Worked great at first, but the temperature has steadly decreased over 2 months and now we're back to luke warm. Waste of money.

I purchased this flask to fit in to my trusted day sack where my larger 1l flask doen't whilst also giving that little extra than my 0.5l flask does...it dies both perfectly. The flask itself feels of very good quality as expected for a Thermos and seems to be very well made to last. The pouring cap is one of the better twist methods (rather than my other push button ones which I've preferred in the past). There seems, so far, to be no or at least very little dripping when pouring, which is a vast improvement to my previous experiences of screw top pouring lids.Overall very happy with the flask and looking forward to many more hot drinks on long walks.
