I bought this because I wanted something which would last me a long time. I'm super happy with the purchase because this thing is not only very please on the eye, but it built very well. I won't say there couldn't be problems as all products have there drop outs but generally thats just manufacture isn't it?I've had no problems and use this thing daily to carry my juice to work (don't judge me!). It keeps it super cold all day and means I can grab a really refreshing drink at my desk.I've had my team leader pop over thinking I had a really posh cup because the lid cup looks really nice. If Stanley released a range of cups with the steel lip and black body I'd buy in an instant because it looks

At last I have finally found a flask that will keep my drinks HOT! My husband & I are fisherman working from an open boat & we need hot drinks. This flask is brilliant. Unbreakable was a must as I have smashed more flasks out in the boat than I care to remember! I take boiling water out in my flasks as then it gives me the option of making either tea or coffee while were out all day. If you make tea then you will know that the water has to be almost boiling or the tea wont brew! This flask achieves that without question & I have actually just ordered another 1.9L & a 1.4L as Ive been so impressed. They are not cheap but you are getting a superior product that works so I have no problem with that.

This comes with claims to be fireproof and bulletproof and all sorts. But not Amazon proof, mine came with a small dent, (made me laugh) but not bothered I wanted it to use not look at. The hammered green finish is actually really nice.I tend to rinse mine out with boiling water before every use, and I store it with the lid off.I tend to keep the kettle boiling a little bit longer and then fill this up with hot water and coffee. If it is very cold outside I take milk separately rather than start cooling before I have even left the house. While Fishing it keeps everything really hot until you open it, the more you open it the quicker it cools. Have had a hot coffee over 6 hrs after filling it up so can't complain.

Only had my flask for a few days and used it once, so this is not a long term or detailed review. Bought this to replace a cheap 0.5l flask that failed to keep drinks hot beyond about 5 hours. I read a number of reviews on the web, all of which sang the praises of the various Stanley models. These flasks are not cheap when you consider you can get one from an un-named manufacturer at around a third of the price. Mine is supposed to keep drinks hot for 20 hours. So far, it has only had to keep it hot for around 4 hours, which it did. I shall watch with interest how it performs over a 10 hour period, which is about the maximum I need. It looks smart,

It keeps fluid hot insanely long! made a pitcher of coffee at. 22.20 and the next morning at. At 9 am, it was still super hot, so hot that you almost burn your lips. then went to work and returned home at. 22.00 and the coffee was still warm, but not super hot, but a smuggler warmer than lukewarm, but there was also 24 hours since I poured it on the jug, so lukewarm after 24 hours must be said to be OK. In addition, it can be mentioned that the jug is of high quality and it can be felt the first time you touch the product, only touching jug feels good, you can just feel that it is made of quality materials. Stanly provides lifetime warranty on the product

This flask once I received it was used immediately every day for work. It is absolutely quality. It is extremely well made and looks like it will last for a very long time. It is so good I purchased nearly the entire collection in different size flasks and travelMugs etc. It’s a little pricey, but when you get it the price is justified by the quality of the thing. I’ve also come home with under half a flask of hot water and the following morning I’ve poured it out and the water is still steaming hot. It really does keep water hit for as long as it says. It’s excellent.

This is my second classic flask from Stanley. The only reason for buying this one is because the seal and screw thread on my old flask’s plastic stopper wore with age and the flask started to leak.On receiving this flask I filled it with hot water from the kettle then left it for 12 hours. As promised the water was still hot.This newer version has a new stopper that seats/seals noticeably more firmly than its predecessor.I feel confident I’ll get years of service out of this one too and couldn’t envisage using any other make of flask. Long live Stanley!

I've had so many flasks over the years that can't keep your brew warm or hold enough fluid in to keep me going all day (either that or its all leaked out!) I've had this flask for over a month and it's my best birthday present to me from me! If you're like me who loves his tea and does outside physical labour then this flask will definitely suffice. Alot of the time when I've finished my working day I still have some tea left and it's still as warm as it was when It was freshly poured in the morning! Bonus thing it is as tough as wood pecker lips.

I've never had a flask that is as efficient in retaining heat as this Stanley. After being filled with boiling water and a litre used, the residue is still too hot to touch after 6 hours. Intrigued I decided to measure the water temp. After filling it was 96C. Left the flask overnight (ambient temp about 12C). Next morning it was 82C.Looking forward to coming back to a cold car and a hot drink.

So far so good, looks amazing!! Feels very strong and see no reason why it shouldn't last for years. It was bought as a gift so hasn't been used just yet but I see absolutely no reason why there would be any disappointment or problems. Good size!!Update : The flask has been used several times now and definitely holds it's heat as it's advertised! Keeps hot drinks piping hot for days!!

Spoke to Amazon 27th February - same date as posted very poor review. A replacement was with my son within 24 hours. Excellent service - and the original faulty flask did not have to be returned. I really hope this flask will fulfil the purpose. Service could not be faulted. Fingers crossed for the next few months - and hot water will last all day as it did before fault developed.

Coffee in the Chilterns on a fallen tree trunk half way through a ten mile hike is still hot and delicious. It’s effective and does its job well. There’s something so marvellously plaid-blankety about this 50s-looking green flask which, on winter walks, makes me long for some accompanying shortbread in a tin with a Victorian lady skater (wearing a fur trimmed coat) on it.

All in all this is a nice flask which feels like it will outlast me!However my flask does not meet the lofty claim of keeping drinks hot for 27hrs. I contacted Stanley directly to ask about this but they declined to answer my email.That said if you can pick one up on sale I would advise you to go for it, but it’s not worth the £50 -£60 I’ve seen it selling for elsewhere

I would thoroughly recommend this Flask. It is strong and robust and can withstand plenty of wear and tear. I prefer to fill the flask with hot water so that I can use it for a variety of drinks like tea/coffee and powdered soup. It keeps the water piping hot. I have experienced other flasks. This one is much more superior.

The main purpose of a flask is to keep things hot, and it does this very well for a long time. The pouring stopper works well. The finish and construction seem excellent and unless I do something stupid ( like strap it to a small nuclear explosive ) I think this will survive anything I can throw at it. Worth every penny.
