I purchased this as a replacement for a very old VACCO branded flask which broke after being dropped as it had glass on the inner side.Overall, I am quite happy with this flask as it is a very solid, strong and durable product whilst being excellent value for money. You will definitely be satisfied if you have a job which involves being outside a lot, for example a builder or an engineer. It also has a sleek/modern design which looks very nice in your kitchen next to other stainless steel appliances such as a kettle or even other containers. The lid performs well as it screws on and off with ease and of course works as a cup to drink from.It holds a mug worth of tea.I do however have to say that it doesn't manage to keep liquid as hot as I was hoping compared to the previous vacuum flask I had, despite its far more sturdier build. After 5-6 hours I noticed my tea wasn't as hot as expected BUT it was still very pleasantly warm. That doesnt necessarily mean it fails as a product, it still performs very well! It depends on how long you wish to keep your drink hot which will determine your level of satisfaction in this regard. Cold liquids stay cool for a very long time.PROS+ Very solid, sturdy and durable build+ Lid/cup functions very well+ Excellent value for money+ Well-designed product+ Brilliant for cold fluidsCONS- Does the intended function of keeping it warm to a high standard, but not as good as my previous vacuum flask (not a major con). How often you open and shut it is also a factor to consider.I definitely recommend this product. The PROS easily outweigh the CONS making it well worth your purchase!

Bought this flask for university mainly, I wanted something to keep soup warm until lunch or coffee over time when revising. It's really great! Perfect size to keep a good two small cups or one large cup of coffee and a decent portion of soup for a cheaper lunch! It fits really well in my bag as well and doesn't take up loads of space as I expected it to, which is ideal really. The reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that I think the "keeps hot for 8 hours" promise is a bit much. I guess it depends what you consider to be hot, but my coffee was just bearably hot at 6 hours i'd say (it stops producing steam from boiled at about 2-3 hours). That's still long enough for me but just not as stated is all.Maybe that's because when i'm drinking from the cup/lid the heat is exposed as the cover isn't on?I saw a few reviews before about it not being a genuine thermos product? "It's thermocafe instead" Yes it is "thermocafe" but it I think thats only because its a smaller product range made by THERMOS anyway. So you still get the same pouring mechanism and standard as THERMOS products i've used in the past anyway. You can tell as you pour boiling water in and it still feels cool to the touch (keeping it insulated clearly).Great for my use anyway! Would definitely recommend this!Edit: Only opened the flask 3 times today for about 10 minutes intervals and it stayed hot for a good 8 hours minimum! Very impressed, so upped it to 5 stars :)

I bought this product as I wanted something that I would be able to put hot drinks in to take to school so I ordered this flask, As I have used thermos flasks before I was expecting a high quality flask and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The flask is extremely good at keeping hot drinks (I have filled it with Hot chocolate and Coffee) steaming hot for many hours after being made, I haven't tested it out to see if it keeps cold drinks cold so I am sadly unable to comment on that. The only issue tha I can find with this flask is that it may not be big enough for some people (I have to refill it twice a day)The flask itself comes in 3 pieces; The lid/cup the stopper and the flask itself. The stopper is leak proof and I am very glad of that as I have it lying down in my rucksack with all of my school books so If it leaked then it would be a compete disaster. Holding the flask, it is very cool in the hand however I have experienced it slipping slightly from my grip so make sure to keep a tight grip on it. Being made of stainless steel it is very ascetically pleasing and any stains wipe off very easilyThe flask is easy to wash (I clean it out with warm water and fairy washing up liquid after every use) however I wouldn't recommend putting it in a dish washer, so hand washing is essential.Thank you for taking the time to read this review and I hope that it helps you in deciding whether or not to buy this product.

I love having a thermos for tea at work. Like so many others, a nice hot drink soothes the worries of the day.On capacity: 350ml. This holds a good mug and a bit!On how long it keeps things hot: full, I still find it's of a drinkable temperature a good 10-13 hours after filling. Not boiling hot, but still pleasant. If you want it hot-hot, 6-8 hours is probably the limit. I've had unbranded flasks from Tesco and Sainsbury, and there is a good couple of hours difference there which for me is worth the extra pound or 2.On durability: the flask itself can last years. Solid build, and willing to get bumped about a lot without damaging its integrity. The seal also seems to hold up well, and I've had it laid down in a bag all day without any spillage.Cleaning: I would however like to point out one important point: Do not forget to wash your flask and attachments every day. Especially the stopper. Otherwise it will start to smell and discolour, and it's all down hill from there, to the point where your drink starts to pick up a pong. I've found taking the rubber bit off the stopper when cleaning and letting them dry separately can help prevent this too, as moisture can seep between them and lead to further smell problems. All that being said, I love having a thermos and highly recommend it!

As many other people have mentioned, this is an absolute great buy. I was looking for two things mainly: good heat retention and no leakage. I am very happy to say this Thermos does both very well.I have bought many other cheaper flasks in the past and the drinks were cold after 2-3 hours. Not with this. I make tea in the morning and take it with me to Uni. I have sometimes drank it at 4pm and it was still nice a warm! When you pour in your hot liquid and touch the outside, the metal does not get warm, which means the container is not loosing heat. The only part that does is the neck, which does not seem to have the double wall insulation. So if you are drinking from it for a long time,it's perhaps best to put the lid/cup back on when you are not drinking and retain as much heat that way.In terms of sealing it works very well too. I have not had any tea or coffee wetting my backpack. Plus, I find the size of the flask very convenient. It is small and light enough that you can carry it without a problem, but it's big enough for a large cup or a few small ones.Highly recommended!

I got this for my 14 year old so she could take hot chocolate to school for lunch/break. We didn't want a big flask - she needed something that was small and slim to fit in her schoolbag and this fitted the bill. The flask is actually slimmer than it looks in the photo, is about 20cm tall and holds a mug full of drink comfortably. The lid obviously is rather small but my child likes that. The flask also looks stylish in stainless steel and i have found it easy to cleanout. It is pretty robust as it is made of a double steel shell, but is light. It is also very efficient at keeping drinks hot. I fill the flask (after warming with boiling water)with hot milk and drinking chocolate powder at around7.30 each morning and it is still piping hot at 1.20 lunch and any leftovers are still hot when I empty and clean at around 4.30 pm.A really good buy for us - my daughter is very popular with her friends who all want to share a cup of hot chocolate now!

The main thing we wanted from our flasks was to be portable enough for lunchtime soup but efficient enough to keep it nice and hot till lunchtime. These seemed to fit the bill and I can say we're not disappointed. The capacity is just enough for one portion of soup and it definitely keeps warm for some time - even one left overnight was hot enough to drink the next day. One thing, though, is that the neck is quite narrow so it's better for more liquid soups and would not be good for more solid foods. They're tough as well. My wife dropped hers from her locker onto a hard floor yesterday and although the lid is now dented and the base slightly askew, it did not leak. The inner container is steel, not glass like most flasks, so it's not vulnerable to damage in the same way as the more traditional type. The rubber seal is good, so there is no leakage as we've experienced from other flasks. Again, this makes it ideal for lunches.

Needed this flask to store milk during my exploring trips as my plastic container I was using wasn't adequate as the milk was curdling as I was walking. After choosing this flask, 1 because it was made by Thermos, 2 it was the smallest I could find. I usually only need milk for 2 cuppa's but this will hold a full mug to the brim of liquid. Not tested it yet but confident its up to the job as I have 2 other larger Thermos flasks for boiling water for my tea and the water is still practically boiling after 6 hours to make another cuppa. I don't put brewed tea into a flask, I take tea bags, sugar, and milk and make it fresh on the spot, tastes far better. See picture for size of flask next to a mug.Hope this review helps you in your decision on buying this product.

I already have a half litre one of these, but sometimes it just isn't quite enough for two - and I didn't want a bigger heavier flask, so decided two smaller ones would be good - particularly as I drink black tea and my other half drinks white - so I could make them up to suit us instead of having to take milk as well. Also we would then have a cup each. They hold about a mug and a half approximately. Neat and functional. One word of warning - keep a separate one for coffee - my old one retains the smell of coffee, so I kept that one for coffee and these two for tea and everything else. They're a really nice handy size for one person, no glass to break and well made.Kept the drinks hot all day.

I bought this flask for my journey to work.Guess what?It keeps stuff hot and cold. It doesn't leak. (unlike that own brand crap that I bought..grrrr) It has a screw lid, far better than those stupid leaky pop up and down ones) and it holds about a mug full.Yesterday I made a cup of tea and put it in and 8 hours later it was still hot. Not as hot as when first made but if you put your finger in it, it was a little uncomfortable. Marvellous.Oh, and did I say - it doesn't leak. This is the best bit!I have put porage (yeah, that's the right spelling), coffee, tea, soup and squash in it. Porage was wicked. I put the sugar in the porage and it was sweeeet!Just buy it. It's a life-changer.

If you are looking for a flask that is about the size of a Evian 500ml bottle, then this is for you. I left it in my bag and forgot about it. 10 hours later, the coffee inside was still hot (not boiling hot but hot enough to stop you from drinking it straight away). There is only 350ml of drinking capacity so you can't expect too much out of it (it will fill the cup 3 times) but if you drink espresso, it'll do wonders by keeping you stocked up for the day.My original plan for this flask was to use it for long driving trips but the slightly wide base does not fit all car cup holders (6.8cm diameter).Easy to clean and after some rather thorough testing, it definitely doesn't leak!

This is a handy flask that holds enough coffee for a single person's mid morning or lunch break. It's sturdy and fits tightly into the bottle cages on all but one of my bicycles - a small wedge of cardboard cures any rattles from this last. It may not keep coffee as piping hot for as long as my Aladdin Stanley flask but that weighs four times as much and doesn't fit the bottle racks! This Thermocafe is a practical choice if you are going to drink the hot coffee within 2.5 hours of making - I always warm the flask with a hot water rinse before filling with coffee. Please note that you can't put it in the dishwasher but the neck is wide and it's easy to clean.

I always take water to bed at night as I get very thirsty but I have been getting extremely concerned after reading articles about keeping cold water in plastic bottles which when heated up can give off chemicals linked to cancer. So, I saw this lovely little flask just right for the amount of water I need so I bought 2, hubby likes a drink too, and it's just the ticket, keeps the water lovely and cold so ideal for our hot summer nights (joking!!).In the winter I can fill it with tea or hot chocolate to will be used in all seasons. It's also a great size for popping in a handbag or keeping in the car. Wished I got them ages ago.

Excellent Thermos Flask, purchased this for bottles when traveling with our new baby. It was the perfect size as it fits in the side cup holder of our baby bag. This flask keeps the water boiling hot for 8 hours, it is still suitable for baby bottles for up to 12. The seal on the top is leak proof and the snap open pour mechanism is great! A little trick we found was filling the flask with boiling water first and letting it sit for a few minutes, spill out the water and then refill it with a new batch of boiling water. This extends the time of the water staying hot quite a bit. Great product.

...last.This is the third Thermos of this type they last about 2-3 years before the welding goes porous and the vacuum is dies. Although it does make a good hand warmer but only until the void fills with whatever you are using as heating medium. With that caveat that that stainless does not keep vacuum for more than a few years this is a nice compact flask. The fact that it will fit in a small cool box when next size is too large. For this reason along I keep buying the same product. The modest price also slants the purchase to repeat and not search for something longer lasting.
