Having owned a larger version of this wok for many years and been very happy with it, I stumbled across this smaller version and decided it would be useful to buy for those days I’m only cooking for myself.For the most part, I’m glad i did.It is lovely and heavy, which allows it to hit a nice high level of heat if you want, but will also cool down relatively quickly. It definitely helps to keep it seasoned (namely apply a sheen of Cooking oil to it after washing) , as i did with its bigger brother.Its just the right size for a normal single person portion of stir fry, and can happily be used for other methods of cooking too such as making a mince ragu and so on.My only reason for not affording it 5 stars across the board,

Works on induction hob. Bottom of the wok showing some use but this can only be seen washing or drying. The carbon coating is holding its own.Update: the coating is not doing so well anymore. Only use wooden spoons and still has developed problems. Shows some rust now. Rather disappointing.Downgraded from four to two stars.Remembered the Masterclass guarantee and decided to write to the company after visiting their website. I got a prompt reply and as soon as I supplied my details, a replacement was sent to me. I received it this past hour. I must say I am pleasantly surprised and for that, I bump my rating back up to 5 stars.

Would work great on a gas hob (which I don't have anymore), works fine on electric one as well (compared to other woks I have). It has nowhere mentioned it is dishwasher safe, and considering other feedback about weak non-stick cover, I hand-wash it - hence 3 *** for Heat distribution and Easy to clean points. Gave 3 *** for Versatility - it might be quite heavy (not for me, however) and also not easy to store due to a long handle. However, a good wok for a fair price. Wish I had a gas hob to utilize fully what it can offer. Looking forward to get other stuff from the same manufacturer as I like it.

Far superior to other woks I have owned. Was a little concerned about getting a smaller size than previously, but this is plenty big enough to do a chicken stir fry or beef stroganoff for 3. Cleans excellently with just hot soapy water and a J cloth, even after being left empty for a couple of hours. This is my 5th masterclass pan (different kinds) and have had no problem with any of them. I only use silicon or wooden utensils to keep the non-stick surfaces in best condition. Very well balanced and sits perfectly on gas hob.

Very impressive product.Was looking for an under 26cm wok for a ceramic hob in a small kitchen. Very difficult to find non-stick iron or wood handled ones of this size (steel woks weren’t an option, as require seasoning, which the fire alarm wouldn’t tolerate).Good weight, so sturdy, but manoeuvrable.Non-stick coating seems good quality, and won’t wear off easily, if used with wooden or plastic utensils

Bought the small version as already have the bigger one which is used all the time. Wanted something a little smaller for when cooking smaller amounts. The wok is heavy duty and performs really well. It has a tough coating that has not scratched so far. Really easy to clean as nothing has yet stuck. Works a dream on my induction hob.

Delighted with the substantial construction of this wok. Small and definitely perfectly formed it is perfect for our small household. It feels like a serious piece of cooking kit. The heat distribution is excellent and a professional result is simple to achieve. Highly recommend.

I love this thing! Use it pretty much everyday, perfect for cooking a variety of different meals, the non stick is fantastic quality and hasn't started to peel at all, works perfectly on my induction hob.

lovely size for 3 - maybe up to 4 - portions so about 2/3rds the size of a standard wok. Washed well in the dishwasher and kept the non-stick coating. Handle can get warm but still....Recommended.

Perfect for me... use it for lots of different types of food. Easily big enough for 2 meals (saves cooking two nights in a row!)Comfortable to use, washes well and I have a lid that fits it!

My wife is the cook, me, I can hardly boil an egg lol. She however loves this wok and rates it very highly. As stated in the headline, a good buy for the money.
