Things that I liked about this wok:* There is no doubt that this wok is extremely sturdy and well made* It has a very large flat base - one of the largest I have seen in a wok. This means that more of the cooking surface is in contact with the heat* the sides of the wok are gently sloping. This means that you can cook a large amount of food at the same time and they will still be in contact with the cooking surface of the wok* non stick surface - the food genuinely does not stick at all to it* easy to clean - just was immediately after use with hot soapy water. It doesn't need any care other than that* the handles are riveted onto the sides of the wok. There are no screws to come undone or loosen.* the handles on the wok and the lid are thick and heavy duty - they are not going to break under any normal usage* the stainless steel lid is large and if you are not stir frying it allows for plenty of steam to accumulate keeping the food moist and hot* works on all cooker types including ceramic and induction hobs* comes with a lifetime guarantee - this gives you confidence in the quality of the materials and the workmanshipThings that I didn't like about this wok:* it is heavy and not being overly tall or muscular, I do find that once it is full of food it is heavy to lift* When cooking a standard stir fry for around 5 minutes the handles get warm but are not too hot to pick up. If you accidentally have the handles overlapping another ring on the cooker be aware that they can get extremely hot.* the non stick surface will scratch if metal implements are used (but most people are aware not to use metal so that shouldn't be a problem)* because it is such a large pan it does require a decent amount of storage space in your cupboards. Unfortunately you cannot store it with the lid inverted into the main body as the lid is much taller and the handle of the lid ends up scraping on the non stick bottom of the wok* the stainless steel base doesn't conduct heat as well as a copper base would but it does still heat up very wellOverall impression:A huge wok that is ideal for cooking meals for a large family. It is solid, sturdy and the quality of the build is obvious to see when you see it in real life. It is expensive compared to other woks on the market but I can't see that I will ever need to purchase a new one so to me it was worth it.

My siblings bought this wok for me as a Christmas present after I had down a lot of research (as, after a serious health diagnosis, I needed to know that the non stick surface avoided the potential health risks that some non-stick surfaces cause). They arranged for it to be sent to my parents as we were expecting to spend Christmas together. As I then couldn’t travel (when it only because only one day out of the lock down rules) I had to wait until last week for someone to be free to organise to post it to me.It was SO well worth the wait. Initially I was puzzled by the loop and the holes as I hadn’t seen them on the product photos so wasn’t sure if the holes meant there was a fault in the product (eg something had fallen off that should be riverted on).I sent a message to Meyer customer support to ask. I haven’t heard back yet but, in the meantime, research by my twin sister shows they are listed on some websites so are definitely part of this version of the product.I am SO pleased with the pan and have discovered, besides everything else, the width and capacity mean it is idea for making chutneys etc. In a normal pan that would take quite some cleaning up afterwards but the Circulon wok wiped clean with ease.I love everything about this product, it’s style, the weight, the compact handles (which make it much easier to store), the capacious volume, the lid and the ease with which it cleans.I have never bought pans of this quality before but was so impressed that I have bought the Ultimate 4 pan set. A fabulous Christmas present arising from a need to pay very careful attention to non-stick cooking surfaces has led spending many times more than I have ever spent on a set of pans but the quality spoke for itself. I can see (as for other reviewers I will be recommending these to many others.

This is an outstanding piece of essential professional cooking equipment. Expensive but worth it. If you’re lucky enough keep checking daily deals on Amazon as I purchased two of these at discounted prices, well below the asking price.I’ve had several standard woks over the years, all ending up going rusty or food sticking. Having taken the plunge with this wok, and from the positive reviews here on online, this was the best! I use one on gas and other on an induction oven. It’s a heavy solid wok. Handles are great but can get hot on high heat, although that is not a problem using oven glove or cloth. Unlike cheap woks, once you’ve cooked anything, it can be left to cool down with lid on without risk of rusting. It’s quite large so ensure you have enough cupboard space to store it. I use this wok for cooking much more than stir fries. Makes great curries. The solid base takes awhile to heat up, so don’t be afraid to turn the heat up high at the start. This makes perfect stir fry’s, especially using rapeseed oil. Food NEVER sticks. Wok is large enough to move ingredients around without fear of spillage. Will cook for at least six to 10 portions, depending on appetite! So easy to keep clean. When finished cooking, allow the empty wok to cool down and gently rinse with mild warm or hot soapy water. Don’t use any abrasives on it. After washing, immediately wipe dry with kitchen roll and then to keep it Prime, wipe the inside lightly with oil before storing it away. I feel this will last for years. Never use metal tools to cook with. A proper flat non metal or wood spatulas are ideal. Circulon is a fantastic product, so much so I also have Circulon Yorkshire pudding dishes and pans. Never dissapoints and never sticks.

bought this after trying several other "induction compatible" smaller woks. whilst the others would heat up (so nominally true that they were "induction compatible), none would heat up hot enough to actually stir fry properly, you'd end up with a saute :(. The limitation iss always in the capability of pan to pull heat from the hub, not of the hob to send heat. This one has a very large flat round base, in this case bigger is better and makes all the difference. Its big enough to span two zones if you have a capable induction hob. I use two adjacent flexi-zones on my neff induction hob, in linked (single XL zone) mode. Setting these to linked, power level P=high power=boost mode, this pan will absorb 4.5 KW of power. (yes, I've measured it, with my smart meter). 4.5Kw is comparable to a high output gas wok burner. At this power level it will stir fry a meal for a family of 4 big eaters in super-quick time, which was the objective I was trying to achieve. the large flat bottom is not giving the perfect "wok" cooking style that a traditional round bottom would do, but for use on a domestic induction hob, this is one of the best alternatives out there. would recommend.I've not had it for long enough to comment on the durability of the non-stick, but the pan itself feels substantial and well made. some have commented on the metal handles, I have not found them to be a problem, they are never so hot that you can't hold them after cooking to take the pan to table to serve. if you have particularly heat sensitive hands, you can use an oven glove.... Also, the pan itself is so heavy that it doesn't move on the hob top whilst you are vigorously stirring, so you don't need to hold the handles whilst cooking.

I have been on the lookout for a quality induction compatible wok for over 2 years now and this one appeared to fit the bill nicely especially as it was available on the Amazon Marketplace for £53 a £47 saving on the retail price. It arrived well packaged, previously opened but unused.Unlike so many other woks at a similar price this one is large and has a 26 cm diameter thick stainless steel 3 layer base incorporating an aluminium sandwich to conduct heat rapidly to the excellent ripple like nonstick cooking surface. The wok heats quickly and evenly on the induction hob and notably the sides heat quickly too being hard anodised aluminum. Perfect. Good quality tight fitting chromed steel lid included for steaming as well as frying. It has the capacity to prepare enough food for a large family or dinner party. As one other reviewer noted this wok is not going to perform well on an electric halogen hob as the thermostat will automatically reduce the heat to a point where proper stir frying become impossible but if you have gas or induction it is a far better proposition than any expensive cast iron Le Creuset wok that when heated takes an age to cool down. Note that Asian chefs never use cast iron woks.Overall a recommended buy especially at this price.

I have just taken delivery of my new Circulon Wok.Super fast delivery and delivered on time .I already have a similar sized cast iron Wok which I have had for years but it was time to replace it. Having other circulon products this was my first choice. As other people have said it has a large flat base which Is far far much better for ease of cooking. It is most definitely totally non stick and cooks wonderfully. The construction of this Wok is bomb proof and very well made worth every penny of what I payed for it.Yes you can buy cheaper woks but you will regret that choice . I believe that it doesn't matter what Circulon product you buy they are all well worth the money very well made and lastfor years. Some reviews say the metal handles get hot when in use if you rivet a metal handle to aluminium body then heat it up it will get hot and they do just apply some common sense when you are using it and you will be fine. Although it is steel utensil safe I would always avoid that and use wooden utensils. Also you don't need to make a huge quality of food to justify buying one of these it will cook smaller amounts too. Plenty of room to move food around.Buy one you will not be disappointed and will serve you for years

was looking for a big bang wok 36 cm not too heavy for my petite size but at the same time durable easy cleaning non stick wok and presentable to serve on dining table and i found this.have used it on my ceramic hob, it retains heat very well (that is after 15 mins or so of pre heat with little bit of oil) but if you are wanting to sear/brown food on high heat, you will be dissappointed so adviseable to look for other wok.Having said that, because of its excellent heat retention, you could just use minimal liquid for any type of cooking and it still keeps food moist, of course with the use of the domed lid. Need not to worry about burning the bottom of the wok.I believe that if you use the right utensils for the non stick,it will be your long term kitchen partner :)You can use it for many types of cooking on the hob and under the hob as it is also oven proof.

After much pondering I bought this item to replace a much loved but abused wok. So far it has been used for omlettes, curry, bolognaise, pasta, rice, chicken, fish & soup. No stir fry so far. If the lid is left on whilst cooking the handle does get hot, but as i have another pan with the same problem i am used to getting the oven glove out. Does not take long to get hot and maintains a good low even heat for simmering, or the perfect omlette. Whilst cooking rice it looked like there was some residue and was going to take a bit a cleaning - hot soapy water and a quick wipe, job done. The only problem i have with this product is because i love it so much the husband uses this as an excuse not to do any cooking and leave it all to me!Even with my weak wrists i don't find it too heavy. I love this product and would have no problem recommending it.

I previously bought a good nonstick wok but it was too light and poor heat conduction on the induction hob.My brother recommended this Circulon infinite wok. Around 80 quid it’s not cheap. But it is brilliant. The pan heats up incredibly quickly on the induction hob and retained its heat so I can now properly stirfry again. I only use plastic utensils and the surface is very nonstick. There have been comments about the handles getting hot. ( I was originally looking for a pan-like handle, rather than separate handles. On reflection I guess the pan would’ve been massive).. However the handles only get warm (rather than hot) on a typical 10–15 minutes stirfry. There has also been criticism but it’s heavy. This is what makes it a good wok to stirfry. No hesitation whatsoever in buying this. Thoroughly recommended. You get what you pay for...

I ordered this wok from New Zealand, and had it within a week. Just amazing service. It arrived very well packaged and protected. I have used it a dozen times now, and I abolutely love it. I have an electric ceramic radiant coil cooktop, and it performs perfectly on this. I did read a couple of reviews that said it would not work with this type of cooktop, but I have other Circulon Infinite cookwear that works really well, and so does this. I use it on Med-High heat (Circulon don't recommend the highest heat setting), let it heat up for about 5 - 10 minutes, then cook. Being hard anodised aluminium, it gets nice an hot all over and up the sides - which is ideal for a wok. I really like the large flat base, which gives optimum contact with the element. Love it.

I bought this Wok about 4 years ago. I have 2 teenage boys who eat for England. This pan still looks like new, has no scratches and the non stick surface is still non stick. I wash it in warm soapy water & store it on the hob-top.I use this pan at least 3 times every week for everything - Bolognaise, Chilli, Curry, Stew, soup, I have even used it in the oven, and occasionally for a stir-fry. It is the only pan big enough to cope with the family sized meals I make & can make double quantities for freezing. It was expensive, but will give me 10 years plus of service, easily, and so was very good value for money. It is so versatile, you will hardly use any other pans again! My oldest is off to University later this year and will be sending one with him.

I love cooking on a wok for my stir fry and other food stuff. I have to change my aluminium wok because it was not compatible with our new ceramic hob. I searched Amazon and found this product. I like the diameter size because I can cook more in it when I have friends joining us for a meal, and it comes with a cover as well. I was a bit turned off by the price. I read the previous reviews and was convinced to go for it. The first time I cooked on it, I can really feel the difference compared with the other woks I have used before. Even if you use a little oil it never dries up and the food never sticks even when the heat setting is on high. The food cooks evenly because of the good distribution of heat.I just loved this wok. The price was worth it.

Old wok died, so started the laborious process of trawling through all the woks to be had. Then I saw this one and little birdies started tweeting around my head. 27 years ago I bought a set of 3 pans of the same make that are still as non stick now as they were then, used on a daily basis. A very sturdy solid wok, with fantastic heat distribution. I've found I use very little oil for cooking, and cooking time is vastly reduced. Based in the longevity of my other 3 pans, I fully expect this beauty to go on longer than me. It's not small, it's not light and it's not cheap, but it is well worth the money spent. Oh, and my boyfriend says it washes easily too!

I've recently had my kitchen remodelled and I wanted a set of new cookware to go in it. After reading many pleasing reviews about the Circulon Infinite range I decided to purchase a lot of it. I haven't been disappointed. It's sturdy heavy, without being too heavy to pick up (even when full). It's extremely hard wearing. It cooks excellently. It looks great. The wok is beautiful, and massive! We can cook a nice big stir fry for the whole family and also do a big batch for several meals together.I would recommend these pans to anyone. They are on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I believe I won't be replacing these for many years to come.

Being Malaysian I do a lot of cooking in a wok. I was looking to replace my worn out wok with a family size wok that not only cooks a large amount but offered better stability during stir frying. This wok ticks both these criteria and impressed me further with the non-stick feel when cooking. Any food item you place in the wok to stir fry floats around the wok with such ease it is a real pleasure to use. Washing up is very easy too, as the non-stick means exactly that. This wok is well worth the cost, and was delivered with usual Amazon delivery speed and convenience.
