Having been brought up in a household where Le Creuset casserole dishes were king, I recently invested in my first casserole dish and have not been disappointed. So, when looking for a new stir-fry pan, after having damaged almost all those that crossed my path, I came across this version from Le Creuset. It is quite costly, yes, but the name is synonymous with quality and, having checked in my local cookshop, there are far more expensive versions out there!Out of the box, you can feel the quality immediately. If you are not looking for a serious, well constructed, heavy piece of equipment, then I would not recommend you go for this as it weighs in at just under 2kgs.The handle is incredibly sturdy and looks very well rivetted, and with the pan being 0.5cms thick, you can tell this is extremely well made.As well as being a 30cm pan, it is also around 9cm deep, which seems deeper than normal. Great for cooking greater quantities of food, but also for the infamous stir-fry toss that any self-respecting wannabe cook/chef practices!I am not an expert in non-stick surfaces but, after multiple uses, I have not needed any type of utensil to release the food from the pan. Just tilting the pan over the plate and almost every last bit of food simply slides out effortlessly. All in all, this is a costly piece of kit but, having gone through many cheaper, lower quality stir-fry pans and woks in the past, I am in no doubt that this is going to last me a considerable amount of time. And with a 10 year guarantee, Le Creuset clearly think so too.

First Le creuset pan I've bought so early days really but from using it few times now it seems to have good quality feel to itMy only gripe is it's a bit slow heating up on glass hob which can be pain in the arse.once you get idea of how it heats up it performs pretty goodDon't rely on using this like a Chinese pan as it more like a casserole speed for cooking food etc.....not a Chinese wok which only really works well on gas heat plus you can't toss the pan on and off the hob like you would a wok so instead just use two wooden spoons to toss the food around the pan for even cooking... so far I've done some tasty Chinese food and fried bacon with good results.Having spent a fortune on this panI intend to look after it so I'd recommend following instructions how to care for it and especially do not put in dish washer!!!this will kill it I'd imagine....it's soooo easy to clean.just wash in warm water with a soft cloth etcNevertheless I may get some more pots and pans from Le creuset as my old stuff knackered so I hope this lasts for a long time

I spent too much time probably researching woks as I needed a replacement for my old one. I was not 100% certain on this but I have always been happy with my Le Creuset pots and pans so I took a risk. For a family of 4, I thought it may be too small but I was wrong. It is very easy to season, if you choose to do so, as you just wash it and dry it, rub some veg oil on the inside and then wash and dry again. I've had no problems with anything sticking and it cleans very easily - by hand or in dishwasher.I was also worried that the metal handle may get hot, but again, that has not happened to me in any stir fry I have made or when I have used it for stews and sauces. In fact,I reduced a caramel syrup in it recently and it turned out perfect and was the easiest pan to clean after that - normally it takes some scrubbing.I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a wok or a deep pan.

Looked around for quite a while before purchasing the Le Creuset - replacing (slowly!) our SKK pans that are now pretty well past it.Have been using for several months now and the pan has held up very well, and brilliantly non-stick still. Also very much lighter than the SKK pans we have. Only niggle so far is that the small off-side handle can get very warm - the SKK similar type pans have non-metal handles which seem better insulated from heating.Other than that, very happy with the purchase, and we've already purchased another size as our old plan replacement programme rolls on....============Just a short update - it's now about a year later, and with regular use,the non-stick surface on the pan is still performing very well. Admittedly, at these prices you'd expect the pans to last, but have found that's not always the case.

This thing is fantastic. If you're wondering about the wisdom of spending this much on a pan, rest assured that you will not be disappointed. Just make sure you get some silicone utensils to help prolong the life of the non-stick coating. The only fault I can pick is with the small second handle, which, being metal, gets hot, but the pan is light enough to hold using just the large main handle. It cleans with a simple wipe and, treated properly, will last for many years. I'd never had a pan people comment on when they see it before this one! Don't think twice, just buy.

Have used loads of woks over the years and truly say this is the absolute best of them all. You just know from the feel that is going to last years. Put oil in throw food in and cook none of this sticking to the bottom of the pan just cooks perfectly. Couple of down sides, this is because the wok has a much thicker base it does take longer to heat up and also the weight although it has a another handle opposite to the main one its still quite weighty. But over all give it five stars because I know it will last for years.

Extremely durable and can be used at high temperatures. After quickly working my way through a few non-stick woks as a result of cooking at a high temperature and then unsuccessfully trying to season a carbon steel wok, I received this a couple of years ago as a present.I've used it regularly and it remains good as new. Cooks wonderful stir-fries at as high a temperature as I need, with nothing sticking to the pan.

Quality that you would expect from a brand like this. The price is high but you get what you pay for and I expect this pan to last a long time (like my others). Non stick is excellent. Works very well on my induction hob, however it does take a little longer than you would expect to fully heat up due to the size of the wok and the small base that heat via induction ( I would assume it would be much better on gas).

Le Creuset products really dont need more reviews. They are built of uncompromised quality, with functional design and nice aesthetics. This Non Stick-Fry Pan is basically perfect. Stop buying rubbish ones and replacing them every year and do yourself a favour by getting one of these. Oh and they do actually cook the food better as well!

Absolute top quality, heavy bottom, great heat distribution and amazingly non-stick. Solid as a rock. I'm slowly changing all of my pans to Le Creuset as I know I'll never need to buy any more before I die. They might seem expensive but when you consider how long they will last, they're cheap. Highly recommended.

A good quality frying pan that let's be honest you would expect when paying this much. This pan is a little heavy so don't expect to be able to toss things around in it unless your rather strong, pretty much only it's only downside.Cooking proformance, not had any problems so far and seems to do the job well.

This is our second Le Crueset Stir Fry pan and we it's perfect for us. The previous one we had for 7 years but it did lose a lot of its non-stick covering - even although we never used metal implements on it. I definitely wouldn't put any faith in the lifetime guarantee but otherwise it's a great product.

I own the cast Iron cookware & was a bit wary to change especiallyafter reading the conflicting reviews out there. What can I say ...It's nowmy favourite from the hob to the oven completely non stick and looks goodon the shelf with my "collection" another quality product from Le Creuset.

Excellent frying pan.Very well made as you expect from Le Creuset, and so much cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else.Even cheaper than sale prices from Le Creuset or department stores.A must have for every home...so much so I even bought another one for my parents.
