I bought this because the equivalent-sized enamelled pan couldn't "do" Rosti.I was replacing a cast-iron non-stick pan that is no longer in the range and whose non-stick had faile at the end of the guarantee time.This does the job; it may be that shredding the potato in my new Kenwood Chef - instead of doing it by hand - is part of the reason .Various previous reviewers have commented on the tendency of the non-stick to fail - I'd note that that is true of the "'Tri-Vita' chef's pans" that I bought from JLP a decade ago - but it only fails at the edges and only if you use a dishwasher; I don't cook at the very top edge of the pan, so it doesn't matter [to me]

If you are at all serious about cooking and believe in the best quality merchandise to work with then do as I did and buy as many products in this range of cookware as you think you will need, and then some. Le Creuset has always been well known for quality and durability but the cast iron range can be heavy, especially when food is added. This is what inspired me initially, to have Le Creuset and not worry about the weight of it. Once I was interested more of the benefits became clear. I have now been using these pans for four years, each time I use one it is a pleasure and they look so good. I have several pans with the non-stick lining and have not had any issues with it failing or coming away from the pan body.

I have slowly over the past two years replaced all my pans with leCreuset. Five Saucepans and two frying well, one Omelette, the other a proper frying pan. The pans simply need a wipe round with kitchen towel, best whilst still warm. LeCreuset pans are so well manufactured, their design and the materials used are second to none. The pans great looks and function are a joy to use and look at. Eye candy in the Kitchen. I'm now using an Induction Hob, and because of the triple laminated metal makeup of the pan it's good for cooking on almost any heat source, cooks very evenly.I simply love my LeCreuset Pans.

I tried one of these when cooking with a friend. I was impressed. I bought the widest I can find and I was shocked at the price but now, it seems almost irrelevant because I get results with these that I get with no other frying pan. As a result, I've bought 4 of these now. We have other frying pans but when I need heat to sear meat or sauté potatoes so they've got a crunchy exterior, these are the the only pans for the job. Love them.

This fry pan can be used for other methods of cooking other than frying and is a first rate quality product. It is rather expensive but you have to pay a premium for this high quality. My mother always said pay as much as you can afford on saucepans and frypans because they will then last a you lifetime if looked after properly. Mum has proved to be right on many occasion.

I know these pans are pricey, but they are fantastic, and I cook with them everyday. Little or no oil is needed for cooking and nothing sticks, heat distribution is even and they also retain the heat so that gas/elec can be turned off whilst finishing cooking saving you money. They look good too, simple solid design, would highly recomend them.

Never before used such a perfect frying pan and never before paid so much for one. However it is money well spent. The eveness of the cooking is brilliant unlike cheaper products that leave food half cooked. No need to wash, just swill under the hot water tap!

My partner loves this pan. One year old now and good as new. My only involvement is washing it and the non-stick makes that a breeze. Partner's comments: needs significantly less oil than the previous pan; frittatas used to be a nightmare, now they're a joy.

We love this pan. have been wanting to get one for a long time and so glad we did. we also bought the lid that goes with it so it makes it even more versatile. Super easy to clean and perfect heat distribution. very happy with this purchase.

The pan is very good. Best I've ever used Expensive but you get what you pay for. Heat dissapation across the pan is good so everything cooks evenly. Only downside is that the intended lid is not such a snug fit as it ought to be.

Very solid build quality. The non-stick is resilient and heat transfers well throughout. I use mine on induction with no problems at all. I know they're a bit pricey, but I'm confident that I will have many years of work from it.

Very lightweight and very non stick. Need hardly any oil. Just be careful not to use any sharp utensils. Silicone or wood utensils are best. Recommend this product. Have never been let down by le creuset products.

Really pleased with this high quality frying pan. Lighter than the previous Le Creuset model I had, which lasted just over 10 years before the nonstick started to fade, so really pleased with its replacement

The non stick coating peeled away from the edges after about 4 years of 'normal ' use, luckily as it has a guarantee amazon replaced it. Other than that it's a fantastic pan, though fairly heavy

but sooooo worth it! The Le Creuset 3 ply range are phenomenally good pans. Hopefully this will last a very long time. Lovely large surface area and excellent non stick coating.
