I have now purchased three of these pans through Amazon - the frying pan (no lid), the chef's pan (with lid) and the sauté pan (with lid but without non-stick finish).I love cooking and have many years of experience with all kinds of pots and pans. None has given me so much pleasure and control as these. The non-stick surface is second-to-none and all the pans can be transferred from stove-top to oven with no problem (check suggested maximum temperature though). The pans are reassuringly heavy and have a special construction which transfers heat all around the food you are cooking.In theory you can use suitable metal cooking tools on all the pans but I would advise using wood and plastic on the non stick versions.

I never really used any saute pans I had before. They came as part of sets and just seem to burn food.I bought this pan after buying 3 of the same range of saucepans.I was so impressed with the heat distribution, I thought I'd add to my collection.This pan is just as good and has now had just as much use as my saucepans. Its taken the place of my non-stick frying pan for lots of cooking too!I strongly recommend this range of cookware.

Great heat conduction, even cooking and looks good.I use this for most things, it is my main pan. If you are cooking for a few people the sides are not that high, I don't think you could fit chilli for 6 in here, but if you are cooking for 2 to 4 people it is a great size.It is dish washer safe but I don't put it in as I am worried it might ruin the finish on the outside.I'm planning on getting the rest of the saucepans in the set now.

Very pleased with this saute pan. I didn't want non-stick because it eventually wears off and the pan has to be thrown away (recycled).This is heavy based, with a well fitting lid. Works on induction and can go in the dishwasher.The only tiny criticism is that it doesn't have a handle at the front, unlike the saucepans in the same range. This is the pan that would benefit from it, whereas the saucepans don't really need it.

Really good quality pan, the sides heat up very well and the handle stays cool enough to lift by hand for decent amount of time. I found this pan to be far more non-stick than my cheap stainless steel pans but I dont know if this is due to better heat distribution or just the fact that its a spotless clean new pan!!Good stuff hope it really does last my lifetime

Brilliant sauté pan. Follow the 'priming' instructions and you will never have any problems with sticking. In this I happily cook all the meals I used to cook in a non stick pan, with no trouble at all. Be aware that this is heavy. Not as heavy as the cast iron Le Creuset pans, but a substantial, two handed weight. Just a superb pan, as are the whole range

Very well constructed but in using the product I found it wasn't significantly better than much cheaper and reasonably well constructed products. There are some incredible crowd funded products that seem to be strong competitors to this product - non-stick just by virtue of how they are finished and with exceptional build quality.

Pricey though Le Creuset pans may seem, I am a bit of a fan, particularly of this shape which allows for rapid reductions.Having recently 'taken against' non-stick in its various guises I am of two minds between Lodge cast iron and this; low and slow the iron seems to be winning but for quick-fire stuff it is always this one.

I have had this over a year and it is very durable. It is scrubbed and goes in the dishwasher too. It has retained its shine and hasn't scratched but i don't use metal implements.It is expensive but you are buying quality not just a name. I have the other pans in the set and they are all equaly as good. Would recommend 100%.

I've not only purchased this wonderful pan, which I expect to last me at least 20yrs but I've also purchased their 20cm non-stick stew pot with glass lid. Make no mistake, you get what you pay for, le Creuset are a premium brand and premium brand products make your food taste the way it's meant too.

An excellent pan, but then again, it's Le Creuset, so that comes as no surprise. It's heavy, but not painfully so and the materials are all excellent. I admit it's expensive, but since it's a once in a lifetime purchase, I feel it's totally worth it.

Not much to say about it. It's a wonderful pan as mosts of the brand. Expensive but worthwhile. Just remember to dry if after washing or the limestone in the water will tatoo on it.

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter's partner, who does an awful lot of cooking. He uses it all the time now and likes that he can put the whole thing in the oven.

This has rapidly become my favourite 3-ply Le Creuset pan. It's pretty much the perfect size for 2 people, with the usual excellent quality of this range.Recommended!

Just finished cooking liver and onions for dinner. heat transfer form these pans are perfect, much better than my pans at my main home (circulon). Can't be beat.
